IT서비스 유형별 경쟁력요인이 IT서비스 기업의 비즈니스 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 재무적 및 비재무적 성과 관점으로 (A Study on the Effects of the Competitive Factors for each IT Service Type on the Business Performance of IT Service Companies-with a Focus on Financial and Non-financial Performance)

  • The IT services industry is considered as the leading industry of the ubiquitous age that raises a nation's overall productivity and efficiency. Therefore, it is receiving increasing attention as the industry that can bring about economic takeoff and successful overseas market entrance for the next generation. In order to achieve successful development, the industry should be competitive and armed with strategies that well demonstrate the characteristics of IT services. Therefore, it is important to explore the competitive factors of the industry for its qualitative development from the perspectives of IT services industry policies and as well as IT services companies. This study categorized IT services into three types-system integration, IT consulting, and IT outsourcing- and then examined the competitive factors of each service type and their relationships with financial and non-financial performances. In conclusion, the current competitiveness of domestic IT services industry is attributed to institutions environment rather than its competitive advantages in technology, quality, know-how, and highly qualified human resources. In order to facilitate the sound growth of the IT industry and seek reasonable market competition, the environment that puts its priority on the improvement of institutions environment and the ability to carry out a project needs to be established. In all, this study can be utilized as an important knowledge for the establishment of polices to foster IT services industry and of strategies that raise competitiveness to maximize the performances of companies.

SaaS 기업의 차별화 및 가격전략이 고객획득성과에 미치는 영향: SaaS 기술성숙도 수준의 매개효과 및 조절효과를 중심으로 (Effects of firm strategies on customer acquisition of Software as a Service (SaaS) providers: A mediating and moderating role of SaaS technology maturity)

  • SaaS는 사용자가 필요한 소프트웨어를 인터넷을 통해 원격으로 서비스 받을 수 있도록 하는 모델로 소프트웨어 시장에서 차지하는 비중이 커짐과 동시에 관련 분야의 비즈니스 요구사항의 증가에 따라 지속적인 성장이 기대되는 분야이다. 이에 본 연구는 SaaS 공급업체들을 대상으로 기업에서 추구하는 차별화 전략 및 낮은 가격전략과 고객획득성과와의 관계를 살펴보고 더 나아가 이들 간의 관계에서 SaaS 기술성숙도 수준의 매개효과와 조절효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 SaaS 제공업체 및 국내 CNK(commerce net Korea) 데이터베이스에 등록된 업체의 어플리케이션을 대상으로, 175개 기업 총 199개 SaaS 전략사업단위의 설문결과를 분석에 활용하였다. SaaS 기술성숙도가 차별화전략 및 낮은가격전략과 고객획득성과와의 관계를 매개하는지 검증하기 위해 Baron and Kenny (1986)가 제안한 절차에 따라 회귀분석을 실시하였고, SaaS 기술성숙도의 조절효과를 살펴보기 위해 위계적 회귀분석(hierarchical regression analysis) 방법을 적용한 상호작용효과를 검증하였다. 분석결과, 첫째, SaaS 제공업체가 추구하는 차별화 전략(업종특화, 파트너활용, 전담인력수) 및 낮은 가격전략(월이용료, 초기설치비)과 같은 기업전략은 고객획득에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, SaaS 공급업체의 기술성숙도 수준(어플리케이션 서비스 제공, 웹 기본 어플리케이션, 웹 서비스 어플리케이션)과 고객 획득성과 간에 유의미한 긍정적인 관계가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로, SaaS 기술성숙도 수준의 기업전략과 고객획득성과와의 관계에 대한 조절효과는 주로 차별화 전략에 대해 나타난 반면, 매개효과는 주로 낮은 가격전략에 대해 나타남을 확인하였다.

  • The primary purpose of this study is to investigate ASP (Application Service Provider) vendor attributes that affect ASP client satisfaction. From the relevant literature, ASP vendor attributes that might affect the ASP client satisfaction were derived from which the survey questions were formulated. The survey was conducted among the companies that have adopted ASP. Through the factor analysis of the survey results, the following vendor attributes - vendor's IT infra structure, service reliability, service flexibility, vendor stability, IS maturity, information sharing - were derived ; and the relationships between those attributes and ASP client satisfaction were explored. The result of this study revealed that IT infra, service flexibility, vendor stability are related to ASP client satisfaction. The customer satisfaction factors in the traditional outsourcing -- reliability, IS maturity, information sharing were proved to be not applied in ASP environment. This study provides ASP vendors with guidelines on how to improve their ASP strategies to satisfy clients. The results of this study can also be used by client companies as a decision basis for ASP vendor selection.

  • With the increasing recognition of logistics as a source of potential competitive advantage by companies, there has been a rapid growth in the logistics service industry. In particular increased globalization by multinational corporations has prompted consideration of outsourcing logistics service to third party logistics firms. This paper aims to seek the way to establish logistics information system by the case study of company 'D'. The G-Project, aiming to establish global supply chain including information network was required to form integrated logistics information system between manufacturer and logistics provider. The results should have considerable value to both global manufacturers and logistics providers.

  • 본 연구는 공공도서관의 위탁경영과 관련된 현상과 과제를 조사 분석하여 핵심적 문화기반시설인 공공도서관의 경영을 활성화하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 다음과 같은 공공도서관의 주요한 사항들을 고찰하고 있다. 첫째, 공공도서관 위탁경영의 논리적 근거가 되는 배경과 추이를 살펴보고, 둘째, 공공도서관 위탁경영의 현상과 문제점을 분석하고, 셋째, 이를 통해 향후 바람직한 공공도서관 위탁경영의 개선방안 등을 제시하고 있다.

  • This paper firstly introduces a classification model for designing the architecture of backup centers in terms of business continuity management. We propose that the replication solution, the level of disaster recovery, and the outsourcing style as three important factors that help explain the architecture of backup centers. We provide the details of each factor of the model and apply them to the real world cases of backup centers in Korea. We conclude that the model is well fitted to many cases of currently available backup centers and can provide backup center architects with a well classified architecture model with specific guidelines.

  • 외국 IT선진 기업들은 비용절감, 우수인력 활용, 전락 시장에의 접근 등의 목적으로 해외 IT 아웃소싱은 물론, Business Process Outsourcing(BPO)도 활용하고 있다. 선진 글로발 기업들은 이미 우수인력을 선점하여 글로발 차원에서 경쟁력을 유지하고 있다. 비롯 늦었지만 최근 우리나라 IT 서비스 기업들도 해외에 개발센터를 설립하여 중국인력을 활용하기 시작하였다. 개발 인건비 절감이 주 목적이나 분산 원격개발의 프로세스를 정립하고 훈련하는 것도 부수적으로 기대하고 있다. 중국시장을 접근한다는 장기적 전략으로 현지회사와의 M&A, 교육 및 보상체계 제공, 사용 언어의 다변화 등을 통하여 우수인력의 적극 확보하는 것이 요구된다.

Business and Logistics Strategies of Global Logistics Firms Responding to the Changing Logistics Environment in China

  • Ninety percent of an average Chinese manufacturer's time spent is on logistics. Therefore, logistics presents the greatest challenge for multinational companies conducting businesses in China. Although more than 18,000 registered logistics companies exist in China, 85 percent of their revenues are generated from basic trucking and storage services. These facts indicate that China will need increasing presence of high-quality foreign 3PL providers, who are able to provide sophisticated IT systems, industry/operational expertise, standardized operating processes, and international networks, compared to their Chinese counterparts. However, they are facing complicated array of laws and regulations as well as difficulty of finding qualified people to fulfill these needs. There are a number of foreign 3PL providers engaged in China's logistics sector to reap a huge opportunity. Nevertheless, many 3PL foreign providers are still cautious about making large investments. Thus they arelooking for alliances that can provide complementarities instead. Another salient feature of strategy is to take over the transportation assets and warehousing of major Chinese manufacturers and distributors.

  • This research developed a survey and analyzed the results on the basis of the SERVQUAL model and prior research of the service quality in MIS. The result of the analysis will maybe show that the gap between expectations and perceptions of users will have an negative Impact on the user satisfaction of IS. And outsourcing strategy will have an impact on the user gap. The most important outcome of this study is that service quality is an antecedent of IS users, and we should consider service quality in improving and measuring IS effectiveness

  • L&P Cosmetic, the leading company selling mask packs on the global market, produces MEDIHEAL, the number-one best-selling mask pack brand in Korea and the best-selling imported mask pack brand in China (2017). The company pioneered the premium market for mask packs through its launch of premium mask packs in 2009, and has subsequently achieved outstanding success in Korea and China. Three key factors have contributed to the success of L&P Cosmetic: product leadership with R&D capability, strategic marketing programs tailored for each market segment, and operational excellence focusing on strategic outsourcing and partnership management. Nonetheless, globalization beyond the Chinese market remains a major challenge for the potential of L&P Cosmetic.
