파이프 신속결합장치 틈-슬리브에 미치는 응력분포 연구 (A Stress Analysis on the Split-sleeve of Quick Pipe Coupling)

  • Due to continuous difficulty of human power supply, it is necessary to develop an equipment which is good to saving cost and time at a construction site. A quick pipe coupling method is the kind of mechanical joint system using split-sleeve and sealing-pad at pipe groove without welding. In hence, it provides restrained pipe joint which is simple, safe, and dependable without environmental pollutions. It is more useful scheme than the other ones. The purpose of this study is to find out the main design factors and the optimum shape of split-sleeve. The stress analyses were carried out under various shapes of pipe groove configuration, materials and internal pressures with a commercial software, ANSYS workbench which uses FEM(finite element method). Results are graphically depicted with various parameters.

Solution-processible corrugated structure and scattering layer for enhanced light extraction from organic light-emitting diodes

  • A simple method of fabricating out-coupling structures was demonstrated via solution-processing to enhance light extraction from organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). Scattering layers were easily obtained by spin-coating an $SiO_2$ sol solution that contained $TiO_2$ particles. By introducing the scattering layer and the solution-processible corrugated structure as internal and external extraction layers, the OLEDs showed increased external quantum efficiency without a change in the electroluminescence spectrum compared to conventional devices. Using these solution-processible out-coupling structures, nearly all-solution-processed OLEDs with enhanced light extraction could be fabricated. The light extraction enhancement is attributed to the suppression by the out-coupling structures of the light-trapping that arose at the interface of the glass substrate and the air.

SBR에 대한 Silane Coupling Agent 처리한 Kaolinite의 보강효과에 관한 연구 (Effect of Kaolinite Treated with Silane Coupling Agent on the Reinforcement of SBR)

  • The effect of surface treatment of kaolinite with silane coupling agent on the reinforcement of SBR was investigated. The possibility of the practical use of kaolinite as an organic filler was also scrutinized and it was found that the reinforcement of SBR was improved by modifying surface of the cheap inactive inorganic filler with organic silane coupling agents. 3-Chloropropyltrimethoxysilane(C-series), 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane(M-series) and 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane(A-series) were used as coupling agents. To test the material properties of vulcanized and unvulcanized SBR, Mooney viscosity, modulus, elongation and fractured surface measurements by SEM were carried out by changing the amount of silane coupling agents. Torqe of the unvulcanized SBR following the measurement of the degree of vulcanization was to be increased as the amount of silane was increasing, and Mooney viscosity of M-series and A-series was also increased.

SEA를 이용한 셸과 실린더의 최적 용접 조건 (Optimum Welding Position between Shell and Cylinder based on SEA)

  • The overall aim of this paper is to determine coupling loss factor of welding point between shell and cylinder using loss factor and structural loss factor. For this purpose, two kinds of loss factor were adopted. One is loss factor of each sub structure, another is structural loss factor based on the complex welded or assembled structure. Using these two parameters, it ispossible to derive the coupling loss factor which represent characteristic condition of SEA theory. Coupling loss factor of conjunction in complex structure was expressed as power balance equation. The derived equation for a coupling loss factor has been simplified on the assumption of one way (uni-directional) power flow between multi-sub structures. Using these conditions, it is possible to find the equation of coupling loss factor expressed as above two loss factors. To check the effectiveness of above equation, this paper used two-stage application. The first approach was application between simple cylinder and shell. The next was adopted rotary compressor. Rotary compressor has three main conjunctions between shell and internal vibration part. This equation was applied to find out the optimum welding point with respect to reduce the noise propagation. It shows the effective tool to evaluate the coupling loss factor in complex structure

  • 웨어러블 디바이스는 일상생활에서 실질적으로 필수적이며 사용자들에게 편리하게 이용되고 건강관리와 의학 분야 등에 활용되고 있다. 전력분야에서 전원 배터리의 사용시간의 한계를 극복하고 효율적인 충전방법에 관한 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 무선전력전송은 전선을 사용하지 않고 무선으로 전기장을 부하에 전력을 전달하는 기술이다. 이 전송기술은 저 전력의 스마트폰에서부터 고 전력을 사용하는 철도 충전시스템까지 응용분야가 다양하다. 충전방식은 유도방법과 자기공진방법의 2 종류로 나누는데 자기공진주파수는 13.45 Mhz를 사용하였다. 본 연구에서는 전송효율을 측정 비교하기 위하여 2 종류의 하드웨어를 구현한 후 비교하는데 있다.

  • 벽식 구조 형식의 아파트는 횡력에 저항하는 주요 부재로 내력벽을 사용하기 때문에 내력벽에 개구부를 설치함으로써 발생하는 단면손실로 인한 내력 손실은 구조물 전체에 심각한 문제를 발생시킬 수도 있다. 또한 개구부 설치에 따라 발생되는 연결보(개구부 상부의 인방)및 연결 슬래브(인방이 없을 경우)에 대한 평가는 미흡한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 개구부를 설치한 전단벽의 연결부재에 따른 벽체의 거동특성을 알아보고자 1/2 축소된 2층 독립 전단벽체를 계획하였다. 실험결과 개구부 설치에 따른 유효 단면 감소에 의한 내력 감소가 나타났으며, 강성, 에너지 소산능력 등에 있어 연결부재인 연결보와 연결슬래브에 따라 차이를 보였다.

  • 소프트웨어의 수명이 길어짐에 따라, 소프트웨어 유지보수비용을 줄이기 위한 기법에 대한 연구의 중요도가 높아지고 있다. 소프트웨어 엔티티들간의 커플링(Coupling)정보는 소스코드 분석 및 리팩토링등의 소프트웨어 유지보수에 활동에서 의사결정시 정량적인 근거자료로 유용하게 사용되고 있다. 논리적 커플링(Logical Coupling)은 소프트웨어가 진화하는 과정에서 관측된 엔티티들간의 관계성 정도를 나타낸다. 논리적커플링이 처음 소개된 이후로, 커플링의 단위를 상세화 하는 연구가 발표됨으로써, 큰 단위의 엔티티간 논리적커플링으로는 설명할 수 없는 소프트웨어의 특성들이 설명되었다. 하지만, 기존 연구는 프로젝트 구성원들의 성향 및 프로젝트의 특성을 고려하지 못 하였다. 본 연구는 버전관리시스템의 변경기록에 담겨있는 프로젝트 구성원들의 성향과 프로젝트 자체의 특징을 고려한 다중관점 기반의 논리적커플링 측정기법을 제안하고, 오픈소스프로젝트를 통해 제안하는 기법을 검증하였다.

  • UV molding is a process for integrating micro/nano polymeric optical components on optoelectronic modules. In the present study, a microlens array for vertical cavity surface emitting laser(VCSEL) to fiber coupling was designed, integrated and tested. At the design stage, design variables ware optimized to maximize the coupling efficiency, and tolerance analysis was carried out. At the integration stage, the UV transparent mold was fabricated and the microlens array on VCSEL array was integrated by UV molding process. Finally the coupling efficiency of VCSEL to fiber was measured and analyzed.

유체 충격 압력 측정용 압전 센서 특징 (Characteristics of Piezoelectric Sensor for Fluid Impact Pressure)

  • This study presents an investigation of the characteristics of piezoelectric sensors whose main utilization is to measure impact pressure. The piezoelectric sensors were tested from several points of view. Their characteristics were investigated for repeatability, the effect of the diameter, temperature effect, water purity, flush mounting, and AC and DC coupling. Out of these, it was revealed that the temperature effect is very significant. The characteristics of the AC and DC coupling are also very important in understanding the time history of the impact pressure.
