Organic-inorganic hybrid materials have attracted because of its combined properties, such as flexibility and high electrical performance. In addition, the hybrid materials are expected to have synergic effect which are not shown in just one component. Here, we fabricated organic-inorganic hybrid thin film. Organic-inorganic hybrid thin film have been deposited from diethyl zinc and 1, 2, 4-trihydroxybenzene (THB) by molecular layer deposition (MLD). UV-VIS, Using Infrared spectrum and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy confirm that Zinc and THB hybrid film (ZnTHB) consist of Zn-O and THB - oxide units and the micro structure and composition of hybrid film. hat the sequential surface reactions of diethyl zinc and ethylene glycol are sufficiently self-limiting and saturating to enable well-controlled MLD growth. Transmission electron microscopy image shows lamination growth of ZnTHB film according to cycle.

Recently, the interest in remodeling of new and old buildings is increasing worldwide. As a result, the frequency of use of architectural adhesives has increased. Currently, adhesives used in buildings are made of organic materials in most cases, and epoxy resin adhesives are most widely used. However, epoxy resin adhesives contain formaldehyde and VOCs in the room during construction, which can cause sick house syndrome. In case of building fire, it may cause damage due to carbon monoxide generated from organic materials. It is urgent to study the problem of epoxy fill adhesive made of such organic materials. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of the adhesion of epoxy resin adhesive, which is a problem of epoxy resin adhesive, which is an existing organic adhesive by using inorganic materials such as magnesia and phosphate, And the inorganic adhesive which does not emit the release amount as an inorganic material.

Atomic layer deposition (ALD) and molecular layer deposition (MLD) are based on sequential, self-limiting surface reactions that produce atomic layer controlled and conformal thin film growth. ALD can deposit inorganic films and MLD can deposit films containing organics. ALD and MLD can be used together to fabricate a wide range of hybrid organic-inorganic alloy films. The relative fraction of inorganic and organic constituents can be defined by controlling the ratio of the ALD and MLD reaction cycles used to grow the film. These hybrid films can be tuned to obtain desirable mechanical, electrical and optical properties. This talk will focus on the growth and properties of metal alkoxide films grown using metal precursors and various organic alcohols that are known as "metalcones". The talk will highlight the tunable mechanical properties of alucone alloys grown using Al2O3 ALD and alucone MLD and the tunable electrical conductivity of zincone alloys grown using ZnO ALD and zincone MLD with DEZ and hydroquinone as the reactants.

To prevent energy waste in buildings used heat insulator. Heat insulator materials can be classified inorganic and organic. The organic material is due to toxic gas emission, when a fire occurs. And it has lower water resistance. The inorganic material is heavy and worse thermal performance than organic materials. Technologies on energy saving and materials used in curtain walls have progressed with increase of high-rise and large buildings. However, there is little study to explain fire resistance performance of the curtain walls. This study focused on evaluation of the physical properties of light-weight inorganic foam panel for using industrial by-products materials and performance evaluation by mock up test.

UV-Curable hybrid coatings were synthesized to improve the surface properties of plastic film. Organic-inorganic coating solutions were prepared by the sol-gel method using urethane-acrylate oligomer, acrylate monomer, photo initiator and tetraethoxysilane (TEOS). Methacryloyloxypropyltrimethoxysilane(MPTMS) was used as a silane coupling agent to improve chemical interaction between inorganic phases and UV curable acrylate. In this study, the surface hardness and adhesive properties were improved with the use of inorganic component. The experimental results showed that UV-Curable hybrid films containing aliphatic urethane oligomer, hexanedioldiacrylate, trimethylolpropanetriacrylate, hydroxy dimethyl acetophenone exhibited good surface properties. Also, the optimum curing conditions were investigated.
Organic/inorganic hybrid membranes have been prepared and evaluated as polymer electrolytes in a polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC). Previously, partially fluorinated poly (arylenether) was synthesized and the polymer was sulfonated by fuming sulfuric acid$(30\%\;SO_3)$. Modification of these polymers with coupling agent and inorganic materials was carried out to prepare membranes. Membranes cast from these materials were investigated in relation to the proton conductivity and weight loss at the room temperature. It was found that these membranes had a higher conductivity of $10^{-2}\;Scm^{-1}$ at the room temperature. But inorganic materials have leaked out from the hybrid membrane. If this problem is resolved, organic/inorganic hybrid membranes will become satisfactory Polymer electrolytes for the PEMFC.
Drying-step in sol-gel processing was bypassed by exchanging alcoholic solvent in forsterite alcogel directly with MMA. By in-situ polymerization of the MMA, organic-inorganic nano-composite of PMMA-forsterite was prepared. As porous nature of inorganic networks in the gel was preserved and fixated in the composite, spherical morphology of PMMA was resulted. The PMMA-forsterite composite was optically transparent, machinable, mechanically sustainable, and thermally more stable than pristine PMMA. When doped with $Eu^{+3}$, inorganic moiety in the composite provided site environment that is very different from that in pristine PMMA. Prominent $^{5}D_0$ → $^{7}F_0$ transition at 578 nm, broken degeneracy in $^{5}D_0$ → $^{7}F_1$ and $^{5}D_0$ →$^{7}F_2$ transitions suggested that $Eu^{+3}$ was exclusively doped in the inorganic moiety of the composite, which had lower symmetry than the organic counterpart.

In this study, several properties are improved when high efficient inorganic type agent and organic-inorganic type agent are applied. Especially high efficient inorganic type agent can improve the properties of concrete such as water-resisting capability more effect than organic-inorganic type agent applied.
