Laser 프린터용 고압 순시 전류제어형 전원특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of High Voltage Type Instantaneous Current Source for Laser Printer)

  • 본 논문에서는 온도나 습도 등 주변 환경변화와 무관하게 항상 최적의 레이저 프리터의 출력특성을 유지하기 위한 OPC(Organic Photo Conductor)용 고압 전류형 전원특성에 관한 논문이다. 제안된 제어방식은 기존의 정전압 제어방식이 가지는 단점인 온도나 습도 및 OPC의 분포저항 변화에 따른 출력전류 변동으로 OPC 표면에 일정한 전위를 형성하는 것이 용이하지 않은 단점을 개선하고, 주변환경 변화요인을 프린터 주제어기에서 감지하여 최적의 출력전류 기준신호를 출력하고, 이 기준신호에 따라 최종 출력전류가 제어되어 일정한 화상상태가 유지되도록 제어하는 제어방식으로 실험을 통하여 제안된 제어방식의 타당성을 검증하였다.

토너카트리지 OPC 드럼용 Al 튜브의 응력 및 변형거동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Stress and Displacement Behaviors of an aluminum Tube in OPC Toner Cartridge)

  • The stress and displacement behavior analysis of an aluminum tube for an organic photo conductor drum has been presented using a finite element analysis technique by non-linear FEM program. The maximum displacement in the radial direction of OPC drum may directly affect to the quality of printed matter. Thus, the deformed profile of the aluminum tubes should be limited depending on the toner powder size and the contact rolling forces between an OPC drum and a paper. This paper recommends the critical loading of 400 Pa for the provided toner size, $8{\mu}m$ for excellent printed matters and long life of the toner cartridge.

Investigations of DLC Films for Protection of Organic Photoconductors in Electrophotography

  • The diamondlike (DLC) films were deposited by RF plasma CVD system which had cathode consisting of mesh sheet, for the purpose of a protection from wear of OPC surface of the electrophotographic photosensitive body. Material charateristics and tribological properties of the films were also investigated and finally copying performance was evaluated with DLC deposited OPC samples. The surface resistance of the DLC film unaffected by the surface potential of the OPC was about $10^{11}{\Omega}$ and its hardness was about 1200 kg/$\textrm{mm}^2$. In this case the film showed typical material strcture of dimondlike hydrocarbon. The friction coefficient of the film was lowered to 0.2~0.3 at the optimum condition in this investigation and their wear resistant was inproved by DLC-deposition on the OPC surface. DLC-deposited OPC samples with a good copying performance without image flow and draft could be obtained at some depositing conditions.
