This study attempts to understand the arrangement and spatial requisites of art pieces by materializing the visitors' path of movement in the exhibition space, as well as researching their behavior. The purpose of the research is to the guideline for planning the exhibition layout and visitors' circulation can be derived in order to correspond to the visitors' characteristic of movement and circulation-path choice. Although such guideline may have limited use, it is still significant enough to be studied. Taking three Korean art galleries as the subjects of research, this study observes the arrangement of art pieces, movement path of visitors, characteristics of the visitors' behavior and the duration time a visitor takes to view an art piece without moving around in order to understand the arrangement and spatial requisites of art pieces which correspond to the visitors' behavior. The following results have been drawn in this research and analysis; First, when there is an island type exhibition other than the ordinary on-the-wall display in the exhibition space, the visitors' choice of path changes. In short, an island type exhibition seems to be a factor that changes the visitors' path. Second, in the entrance of an exhibition space unit, most of the visitors seem to choose a path which moves counter-clockwise. Third, it is considered that well-known art pieces or art pieces with a big size shall not be displayed on the comer of the exhibition room.

Performing arts are composite art forms made through the collective participation of people who are responsible for a variety of roles with a multidimensional context. This study presents an analysis of the context to be expressed in the process of the arrangement and description of records of performing arts, with a focus on the relationship between performance work and performance planning, the relationship between performance planning and individual performance, the relationship between performance and people who participated in the performance, relationship between records and records, and the relationship between performance and records. With this, this study proposes a logical hierarchical structure that is required to express the context of the inner relationship of performing arts archives. It also suggests a model of sequential organization to describe the inner logic of the relationship between records and records.
This article explores the current status of arrangement of the archives relating to the Korean Provisional Assembly held by the National Assembly Library and suggests the direction of rearrangement focusing on the principles of arrangement. The Korean Provisional Assembly had records management regulations, and records were produced and stored according to them. However, the archives lost their original order at some point. The National Assembly Library collected and managed them in the 1960s. The National Assembly Library did not fully consider the records management system at the time of record production and various situations that may occur during the storage process while organizing the collected archives. At that time, the National Assembly Library did not follow the records management regulations of the Korean Provisional Assembly. In addition, the hierarchical structure of archives was not applied during the arrangement, and the National Assembly Library arranged without considering the Principal of Provenance and the Principle of original order. As a result, it became difficult to understand the structure and context of the archives. In order to solve these problems and come up with a plan for rearranging the archives, first of all, it is necessary to examine the characteristics of the records related to the Korean Provisional Assembly in accordance with the principles of record arrangement. First, according to the Principal of Provenance, it is necessary to identify the organization, function, and records and classify the records item, records file, creators, dates of creation, types of records etc. Second, by applying the Principle of original order, it is necessary to understand what the order of records was at the time when records were created and preserved. Third, it is necessary to examine whether the records are completely created and valid. It is impossible to completely arrange the archives related to the Korean Provisional Assembly as it was in the past. However, by examining the current state of arrangement and the direction of rearrangement, it will be possible to newly understand the contents, structure, and context of the archives and create a basis for effective reference service.

The characteristics of flow and heat transfer in the heat exchanger of heat pipes with fins have been studied numerically for cooling enhancement of electronic components of KTX (Korea Train eXpress). Numerical analysis and methodology have been conformed by comparing the experimental results for inlined array of heat pipes. The staggered arrangement of heat pipes has been proposed in order to achieve heat transfer enhancement. As results, the geometry change to the staggered array is conformed to increase the heat transfer of the system accompanied by an increase of pressure drop. The current results of friction factor and Colburn j factor are presented in terms of Reynolds number and staggered distance, and are expected to use for design and manufacture of such a system.

Consider a job shop that is modelled as an open queueing network of the Jackson(l957) type. All work stations in the shop have the same number of parallel servers. Two problems are studied : the loading of stations and the assignment of servers, which are represented by loading and assingment vectors, respectively. Ma jorization and arrangement orderings are established to order, respectively, the loading and the assignment vectors. It is shown that reducing the loading vector under ma jorizat ion or increasing the assignment vector under arrangement ordering will reduce the congestion in the shop in terms of reducing the total number of jobs(in the sense of likelihood ratio ordering), the maximum queue length(in the sense of stochastic ordering), and the queue-length vector( in the sense of stochastic majorization). The results can be used to supprot production planning in certain job shops, and to aid the desing of storage capacity. With the development of multimedia and optical technologies, application systems with facial features hare been increased the interests of researchers, recently. The previous research efforts in face processing mainly use the frontal images in order to recognize human face visually and to extract the facial expression. However, applications, such as image database systems which support queries based on the facial direction and image arrangement systems which place facial images automatically on digital albums, deal with the directional characteristics of a face. In this paper, we propose a method to detect facial directions by using facial features. In the proposed method, the facial trapezoid is defined by detecting points for eyes and a lower lip. Then, the facial direction formula, which calculates the right and left facial direction, is defined by the statistical data about the ratio of the right and left area in facial trapezoids. The proposed method can give an accurate estimate of horizontal rotation of a face within an error tolerance of $\pm1.31$ degree and takes an average execution time of 3.16 sec.

For a lower tier defense, the distance between a launcher and an engagement control station is quite important to estimate the proper defense area and to effectively arrange missile launchers. In this paper, we have analyzed an effectiveness of anti-ballistic missile launcher arrangement for the lower tier defense against the ballistic missile. The operation concept, specific configuration and aerodynamic characteristics of the ballistic missile such as SCUD-B/C, Nodong are considered in order to develop a realistic engagement simulation. The diverse engagement results through numerical simulations are provided to conduct the effectiveness analysis of anti-ballistic missiles.
Fall-of-potential method is used usually to measure the ground impedance of large scale grounding system exactly. Because the interlinked magnetic flux between closed loops to inject test current and to measure potential rise is existed in E-P-C straight line arrangement, mutual(or inductive) coupling influences greatly on the measurement correctness. Measurement errors produced from inductive coupling could be reduced by the arrangement methods of auxiliary electrodes. Right angle or P-E-C order arrangement methods were effective to reduce the inductive coupling and the decrease degree of measurement error was analysed as quantitative through an experiment.

A cutting head is an attachment on the front of an excavator that cuts or grinds rocks. Cutting tools, called pick cutters, are arranged on the surface of the cutting head. The exact arrangement and configuration of pick cutters is one of the most important factors in determining grinding efficiency. This study focuses on the problem of automation for pick arrangement design, in order to make the design process more efficient and convenient. Design automation was carried out using RecurDyn/ProcessNet, and it was composed of three parts: 'Drum set', 'Pick load', and 'Pick arrangement' sections. The presented method helps to decrease costs attributed to designing cutting heads and can be used to generate a wide range of attachment mechanisms.
In this study, problems with table serving of Korean Jeollanamdo food were investigated, and methods for improvement were suggested. The manner of food serving and arrangement on tables, as well as the serving space in each case, were investigated in representative restaurants serving Jeollanamdo food. The results showed that most of the Jeollanamdo Korean food have a prototype of a flat serving sprea, wherein the main dish and side dishes are not clearly identified, the demarcation between shared space and personal space is insufficiently made for each serving on the table, and the table is full of side dishes, that are narrow, visually disordered and unhygienic, both in terms of the table setting and arrangement inside bowls. To provide sufficient eating space, elevate awareness of hygienic and clean serving, and identifying the main dish in the table setting, a serving method that is a compromise between the flat spread-out and time-series development was suggested, and an arrangement on the table was defined for the main dish and side dishes. The utilization of table space was also increased by reducing the number of dishes on the table at a given moment. In addition, the dish or bowl and arrangement inside the container were changed in order to distinguish the main dish and side dishes. It is suggested that some of tableware be linked with the special products of the locality so as to make a brand for them, and that a personal mat be used to arrange the tableware for each one, since there are many fermented food items (salted fish, kimchi, fermented paste and sauce, etc.) and boiled food items (stew, steamed dish, boiled dish in sauce, etc) that look dark and unfocused. In addition, it is suggested that the width and breadth of the dishes or bowls be set in an orderly manner. Considering the tables currently available at restaurants, personal space on a table and comfortable distance between eaters are suggested to be $400 mm{\times}250 mm$ and 300 mm, respectively.
