블루투스 4.0 기술을 이용한 음식점 광고/주문 시스템 설계 (Design of Restaurant Advertisement and Order System using Bluetooth 4.0 Technology)

  • 블루투스 4.0은 블루투스 저전력 에너지 근거리 통신 기술로서 블루투스 3.0에 비해 소비전력이 낮아지고 전파도달 거리도 70m 까지 길어짐에 따라 활용범위가 커지고 있어 전력소모가 적어 모든 기기가 항상 연결되는 사물인터넷 구현에 적합하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 비콘 기술 현황을 조사하고 비콘 기술을 이용한 음식점 광고/주문 시스템 설계원리를 기술한다. 또한 블루투스 4.0 기술에 기반한 발신장치인 비콘의 설계와 블루투스 4.0 수신 장치의 설계를 보여주고 이와 연동하는 스마트폰 앱 설계 방법을 제시함으로써 본 설계 방법이 음식점 광고/주문 상용시스템에 제작에 유용하게 활용될 수 있음을 보여준다.

  • We have developed and been using laboratory order communication system which is a computerized laboratory request and reception system wi th bar code between inpatient or outpatient and the clinical laboratory in Chungbuk National Unversity Hospital. Work flows are as follows: Tests are requested by the physicians through hospital information system without issuing request forms. Bar code stickers containing demographics of patient and other informations such as sample number, slip code and specimen code are printed and attached to smaple tubes. At the department of clinical pathology, smaples are received through the bar code reader. Area numbers are automatically created and laboratory work numbers are determined. Worklists can be issued by each section of laboratory when needed. Our order communication system alleviates the human labor such as specimen labelling and making worklist and reduces clerical errors that occur from sample collection to laboratory analysis.

Characteristic Impedances in Low-Voltage Distribution Systems for Power Line Communication

  • The input and output impedances in a low voltage distribution system is one of the most important matters for power line communication because from the viewpoint of communication, the attenuation characteristic of the high frequency signals is greatly caused by impedance mismatch during sending and receiving. The frequency range is from 1MHz to 30MHz. Therefore, this paper investigates the input and output impedances in order to understand the characteristic of high frequency signals in the low voltage distribution system between a pole transformer and an end user. For power line communication, the model of Korea's low voltage distribution system is proposed in a residential area and then the low voltage distribution system is set up in a laboratory. In the low voltage distribution system, S parameters are measured by using a network analyzer. Finally, input and output impedances are calculated using S parameters.

  • 국내 철도시스템은 2004년 KTX가 도입된 이래 최고의 안전성과 정확성을 유지하고 있다. 이를 뒷받침하기 위하여 철도 무선통신 시스템에 LTE를 도입하게 되었고 이에 대한 표준화가 추진되고 있다. 철도통신시스템은 재난안전통신망과 연계를 통하여 국가안전망의 일부로 활용될 것이며 이들 시스템간의 연동방안은 중요한 기술적 과제이다. 본 논문에서는 철도시스템의 주요 특징을 분석하고 국내에서 추진중인 LTE 기반 철도통신시스템의 개발 현황을 살펴본다. 국내 철도무선통신 체계를 구축에 있어 철도시스템 운영 효율을 높이기 위하여 향후 표준화를 추진하여야 할 내용을 검토한다.

INMARSAT-C를 통한 인트라넷 기반의 통합 통신 서비스의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of an Intranet-based Integrated Communication Services via INMARSAT-C)

  • Because shore(ship) to ship(shore) communication service via INMARSAT pay expensive cost, satellite service typically use two stage service that land users dial up LES(Land Earth Station) for sending or receiving message. In order to send and receive message, land users must maintain online state with LES on dedicated line. Also, two stage INMARSAT communication service must consume long time that processes step by step. In case of large company, they have own communication system, but small companys communicate simple messages with only telex. This paper describes the design and implementation of an integrated communication services via INMARSAT-C. This system uses inexpensive INMARSAT-C for transmission between ship and land. Because this system provides web and E-Mail interface, users send and receive messages easily and quickly. This system provides most users with inexpensive and easy communication facilities between ship and land.

전술통신망 성능분석을 위한 네트워크 시뮬레이터 구현 (Implementation of Network Level Simulator for Tactical Network Performance Analysis)

  • This paper studied about the design and implementation of tactical communication network simulator in order to obtain tactical communication network parameter, such as link capacity and routing plan, and a number of exceptional cases that may occur during actual deployment by conducting simulation of a large-scale tactical communication networks. This tactical communication network simulator provides equipment models and link models of commercial OPNET simulator for tactical communication network. In addition, 6 types of simulation scenario writings convenience functions and traffic generation models that may occur in situations of tactical communication network environment were implemented in order to enhance user friendliness. By taking advantages of SITL(System-In-The-Loop) function of OPNET, the tactical communication network simulator allows users to perform interoperability test between M&S models and actual equipment in operating simulation of tactical communication network, which is run on software. In order to confirm the functions and performance of the simulator, small-scale of tactical communication network was configured to make sure interoperability between SITL-based equipment and a large-scale tactical communication network was simulated and checked how to cope with traffic generated for each network node. As the results, we were able to confirm that the simulator is operated properly.

  • Distributed Autonomous Robotic System (DARS) is defined as a system that independent autonomous robots in the restricted environments infer their status from pre-assigned conditions and operate their jobs through the cooperation with each other. In the DARS, a robot contains sensor part to percept the situation around themselves, communication part to exchange information, and actuator part to do a work. Especially, in order to cooperate with other robots, communicating with other robots is one of the essential elements. Because Bluetooth has many advantages such as low power consumption, small size module package, and various standard protocols, Bluetooth is rated as one of the efficient communicating technologies which can apply to small-sized robot system. In this paper, we will develop Bluetooth communicating system for autonomous robots such as DARS robots. For this purpose, The Bluetooth communication system must have several features. The first, this system should be separated from other robot parts and operate spontaneously and independently. In other words, this communication system should have the ability to organize and maintain and reorganize a network scheme. The next, this system had better support any kinds of standard interfaces in order to guarantee flexible applicability to other embedded system. We will discuss how to construct and what kind of procedure to develop the network system.

  • 인간형 로봇을 구동하기 위해서 로봇 내부에는 많은 수의 모터와 센서가 사용된다. 다수의 구동기를 연결할 때 생기는 배선의 문제를 해결하기 위해 통신 네트워크에 기반한 제어기를 사용해왔는데 구성 비용면에서 유리하고, 신뢰성이 높은 통신 프로토콜인 CAN이 주로 사용되었다. 제어기의 구조 측면에서 상위 제어기에 알고리즘을 탑재하기 쉬운 속도 제어형 구조가 선호되고 있는데, 이때 CAN의 낮은 통신 대역폭이 문제가 되며, 충분한 통신 대역폭을 얻기 위해 이전에는 다수의 CAN 네트워크로 분리해서 통신망을 구성하였다. 본 논문에서는 높은 통신 대역폭을 얻기 위해 고속의 FlexRay와 저속의 CAN 통신망이 계층적으로 연결된 다중 모터 제어 시스템에 대해 전송시간 지연에 대한 안정도 분석을 수행하고 허용된 전송시간 내에 센서 정보와 구동 신호를 전달하기 위한 게이트웨이의 구성과 노드 할당 방법에 관하여 연구한다. 제안된 계층적 네트워크 기반 제어시스템은 다중 모터제어 시스템의 제어성능을 높이고 안정도를 확보하는 데 이바지할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

사출 자동화 시스템을 위한 통신 제어 시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Communication Control System for Pressure Automatic System)

  • In this paper, we added that developed communication control system between the PLC of pressure machine and the control computer, and developed a new protocol in order to communicate between the PLC signal of pressure machine and the control computer. This communication control systems play an important role in transforming the PLC vendor self-interface type and between computer and PLC. This system has PLC access function to control computer on the backbone network, and then could be operated by PLC through this system. The benefits we can obtain by developing this communication control systems are as follows; First, we can improve the quality of goods and the management of materials using the communication network and then implement the centralization management. Second, we can decrease manpower for production. Finally, we can maximize the company's profit with the increasing productivity by supervising the equipment wrong workings in the central.

  • This paper describes a hardware structure and a communication system of a multiple autonomous robots system. Many studies have been devoted to the development of a single autonomous robot. It is, however, also necessary to investigate decentralized multiple autonomous robots system in order to make wider use of such robots. We have been studying a multiple autonomous robots system employing two mobile robots. In this paper, problems are overviewed on the developed multiple autonomous robots system from the viewpoint of hardware and communication, and an improved system is presented, which employs a new control strategy of a mobile robot and realizes reliable data communication between host computers.
