가상 위상 영상을 이용한 광학적 암호화 시스템 (Optical encryption system using phase-encoded virtual image)

  • 본 논문에서는 위상 변조된 가상 영상과 간섭의 원리를 이용하여 영상의 암호화 및 복호화 수준을 향상시키는 방법을 제안하였다. 원 영상은 그레이 값을 가지는 가상 영상과 무작위 암호화 키, 그리고 복호화 키를 위상 변조하여 이들을 간섭계의 한 쪽 경로에 둠으로써 기준파와의 간섭에 의해서 간단히 복원될 수 있다. 제안한 암호화 과정은 원 영상의 어떤 정보도 포함하지 않은 위상 변조된 가상영상과 컴퓨터를 통해서 만들어진 무작위 영상(암호화 키)을 곱함으로써 암호화한다. 그러므로 허가되지 않은 사람들이 암호화키를 분석함으로써 있을 수 있는 복제 가능성을 배제하였다. 또한 그레이 영상을 암호화함으로써 이진 위상 암호화방법에 비해 암호화 수준이 높은 장점을 가진다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션과 광 실험을 통하여 제안한 방법이 광 암호화 시스템에 적합함을 확인하였다.

조세단계를 이용한 광류검출 알고리즘 (Coarse to Fine Optical Flow Detection)

  • 본 논문에서는 조세단계의 광류검출 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 검출된 광류 값이 2차원 공간상에서의 영상 움직임에 대하여 신뢰성 있는 근사 값을 얻을 수 있다면 이 광류의 값은 3차원에서의 물체의 움직임에 대한 정보를 역산할 수 있을 것이나 일반적으로 이는 매우 어렵다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방범은 Horn의 방법을 이용하여 광류를 일단 검출하고 이 광류 정보와 TPS를 이용하여 초기 영상을 차기 영상이 되도록 워핑한다. 워핑된 영상과 차기 영상과의 자승평균 오차가 일정 수준 이하로 될 때 까지 이 과정을 반복한다. 이 과정은 또한 저급 해상도의 영상에서 고 해상도의 영상으로 반복된다. 본 논문에서 제안한 알고리즘은 일반 동영상에서 실험하였다. 이 알고리즘은 밀한 광류를 얻을 수 있다.

세미 타이트 스커트의 스트라이프 디자인 변화에 따른 신체 이미지 (Body Image of Stripe Design Variations in Semi-tight Skirt)

  • This study aims to identify the differences of body image when the stripe direction and width change of semi-tight skirt. The semi-tight skirt pattern was made using the standard size of a women in their 20s. 12 semi-tight skirt models combining 6 kinds of stripe directions and 2 kinds of stripe widths were made using CLO 3D virtual clothing system. The data was evaluated by 126 fashion design majors. The results were as follows; In accordance with the body image factor analysis of semi-tight skirt, three image factors were identified; whole body optical illusion, calf optical illusion and hip optical illusion. Among these factors, the whole body optical illusion factor is the most important factor. The body image depending on the stripe direction and width change of semi-tight skirt mostly showed the significant difference. In accordance with the analysis on the interaction effect of body image depending on the stripe direction and width change of semi-tight skirt, the whole body, calf and hip optical illusion factors showed the significance. The interaction of body image had independent influence on all factors of stripe direction and width. In particular, the interaction of stripe direction and width had the most significant influence on the whole body optical illusion.

Image Reconstruction Method for Photonic Integrated Interferometric Imaging Based on Deep Learning

  • An image reconstruction algorithm is vital for the image quality of a photonic integrated interferometric imaging (PIII) system. However, image reconstruction algorithms have limitations that always lead to degraded image reconstruction. In this paper, a novel image reconstruction algorithm based on deep learning is proposed. Firstly, the principle of optical signal transmission through the PIII system is investigated. A dataset suitable for image reconstruction of the PIII system is constructed. Key aspects such as model and loss functions are compared and constructed to solve the problem of image blurring and noise influence. By comparing it with other algorithms, the proposed algorithm is verified to have good reconstruction results not only qualitatively but also quantitatively.

BPEJTC를 이용한 광 영상 스위칭 시스템 (Optical Image Switching System based on BPEJTC)

  • In this paper, a new real-time optical image switching system based on the phase-typed BPEJTC is suggested. The phase filter mask which has the arbitrary position mapping function between input and output planes is constructed by using the modified JTPS of the BPEJTC. Then, the input image is convolved with this phase filter mask in the spatial frequency domain and through further Fourier transform the input image is switched to the new positions in the output correlation plane where the correlation peaks are occurred. And, based on the computer simulation results, the practical optical switched to the new positions in the output correlation plane where the correlation peaks are occurred. And, based on the computer simulation results, the practical optical switching system is opto-digitally constructed and through some experiments on image switching the possiblity of real-time implementation of the multiple optical image switching system by using the BPEJTC is suggeste.

Analysis of Off-axis Integral Floating System Using Concave Mirror

  • An off-axis integral floating system using a concave mirror is analyzed to resolve the image distortion incurred by the off-axis optical arrangement. The concave mirror can be adopted as the floating device to improve the optical efficiency. The image distortion due to the tilting axis of the concave mirror needs to be analyzed precisely to generate the pre-distortion image. In this paper, we calculate the image deformation in the off-axis structure of the concave mirror using the geometrical optics. Using the calculation results, the compensated elemental image can be generated for the pre-distortion integrated image, which can be projected to the floating 3D image without image distortion. The basic experiments of the off-axis integral floating are presented to prove and verify the proposal.

  • This paper discusses about the mechanism of catching an image through an optical manipulation of each organizations in the eye, more specifically, mechanism of catching an image on a retina through a Camera and a Crystal Lens. In the retina, the macula roles as a fovea contrails and it leads the image which is about 3 mm to be shaped on there. However, even the macula may not properly function, our eyes still can catch the image by shifting the optical path to around of the macula, even if the sensitivity of the image is generally lower than the image on the macula. This paper proposes a method of shifting the shaped image on the retina by refracting the optical path through a prism located on the rear of a screen which consists of a 0.7' TFT LCD. Applying this method that throwing an image around on the macula, central visual disturbance patients among retinitis pimentos patients can expect to recover such a mechanism to catch an image.

집적영상 및 랜덤 픽셀-스크램블링 기법을 이용한 새로운 광 영상 암호화 (Novel Optical Image Encryption using Integral Unaging and Random Pixel-scrambling Schemes)

  • 본 논문에서는 집적영상(integral imaging) 및 랜덤 픽셀-스크램블링(random pixel-scrambling) 기법을 이용한 새로운 광 영상 암호화(optical image encryption) 방법을 제안하였다. 즉, 제안된 방법의 부호화 과정에서는 먼저 입력영상을 여러 개의 작은 크기의 블록으로 나누어 픽셀-스크램블링을 한 다음 집적 영상 기술을 이용하여 요소영상(elemental image)을 생성하고 이 영상의 안정성을 위하여 2차 픽셀-스크램블링을 수행하여 최종 암호화된 영상을 얻게 된다. 그리고 복호화 과정에서는 암호화된 영상에 광학적인 집적 영상 복원 기법과 역 픽셀-스크램블링 방법을 사용하여 최종적으로 원 영상을 복원하게 된다. 새로이 제안된 광 영상 암호화 기법의 잡음 첨가 및 크로핑과 같은 데이터 손실에 대한 강인성을 실험을 통해 분석하고 그 결과를 제시하였다.

광 암호화를 이용한 안전한 지문 인식 시스템 (Secure Fingerprint Identification System based on Optical Encryption)

  • We propose a new optical method which conceals the data of authorized persons by encryption before they are stored or compared in the pattern recognition system for security systems. This proposed security system is made up of two subsystems : a proposed optical encryption system and a pattern recognition system based on the JTC which has been shown to perform well. In this system, each image of authorized persons as a reference image is stored in memory units through the proposed encryption system. And if a fingerprint image is placed in the input plane of this security system for access to a restricted area, the image is encoded by the encryption system then compared with the encrypted reference image. Therefore because the captured input image and the reference data are encrypted, it is difficult to decrypt the image if one does not know the encryption key bit stream. The basic idea is that the input image is encrypted by performing optical XOR operations with the key bit stream that is generated by digital encryption algorithms. The optical XOR operations between the key bit stream and the input image are performed by the polarization encoding method using the polarization characteristics of LCDs. The results of XOR operations which are detected by a CCD camera should be used as an input to the JTC for comparison with a data base. We have verified the idea proposed here with computer simulations and the simulation results were also shown.

Twin-Image Noise Effects in Optical scanning Holography

  • In Optical Scanning Holography(OSH), 3-D holographic information of an object is generated by 2-D active optical scanning. The optical scanning beam can be a time-dependent Gaussian apodized Fresnel zone plate. In this technique, the holographic information manifests itself as an electric signal which can be sent to an electron-beam-addressed spatial light modulator for coherent image reconstruction. In this paper, we briefly review optical scanning holography and analyze the resolution achievable with the system. We also present mathmatical expressions of real and virtual images which are responsible for holographic image reconstruction. We then show the twin-image noise effect on the reconstruction in conjunction with the size of the Fresnel zone pattern through computer simulation.
