  • The systematic management of plant risk is crucial for enhancing the safety of nuclear power plants and for designing new nuclear power plants. Accident sequence precursor (ASP) analysis may be able to provide risk significance of operational experience by using probabilistic risk assessment to evaluate an operational event quantitatively in terms of its impact on core damage. In this study, an ASP methodology for two operation mode, full power and low power/shutdown operation, has been developed and applied to significant accident precursors that may occur during the operation of nuclear power plants. Two operational events, loss of feedwater and steam generator tube rupture, are identified as ASPs. Therefore, the ASP methodology developed in this study may contribute to identifying plant risk significance as well as to enhancing the safety of nuclear power plants by applying this methodology systematically.

  • Purpose: This study aims to determine the effect of Customer Experience Management (CEM) on the distribution of Marketing Performance mediated by Digital Business Innovation (DBI), Digital Operational Excellence (DOE), and Digital Value Co-Creation (DVC) in Indonesia Information & Technology (IT) industry. Research design, data, and methodology: This research was conducted in two stages, namely exploratory and explanatory on IT companies in Indonesia. The authors took 132 samples using proportionate random sampling method in three groups of companies. Results: The results showed that CEM had no significant positive effect on the distribution of Marketing Performance. CEM has no direct effect on the distribution of Marketing Performance through the mediation of DBI. CEM has direct effect on the distribution of Marketing Performance through the mediation of DOE and DVC. DBI has no significant effect in increasing the distribution of Marketing Performance. However, DOE and DVC have a significant effect in increasing the distribution of Marketing Performance. Conclusion: The distribution of Marketing Performance can be indicated better through CEM through mediation.

  • This Study aims to propose a new information security governance model design method for streamlining security governance at national strategic level. The research method of this study is to diagnose our operational experience and to derive a new model design method. In the meantime, national information security activities were perceived to be focused on knowledge transfer, and motivation of activities and securing of executive power were weak. As a result, security blind spots and frequent occurrence of large security incidents have become unresolved challenges. National cyber security governance should be grouped together as a whole systematically from the upper policy to the lower level of performance under the responsibility of the national leader. Based on this approach, this study presented the comprehensive framework of Korean security governance model and embodied it into four architectural designs such as vision, goal, process, and performance, thus deriving the foundation for future national governance model design. Further research is needed to diagnose problems in life cycle flow, security policies based on environmental changes, and new frameworks in which all subjects participate.

  • The operational characteristics of the landing gear retraction/extension depend on the complexity of design variables operational/environmental conditions. In order to meet the requirements of minimum stow area and performance, the integration of the landing gear system requires operational kinematic and dynamic analysis considering an effect of its related system. This study investigates operational dynamic behaviors of the T-50 landing gear system using ADAMS. Taking into account for various operational/environmental conditions, an analysis of dynamic behavior on the landing gear operational characteristics is performed with experience derived from a wide range of proprietary designs. Analytical results are presented for discussing the effects of temperature, aerodynamic and maneuver load on normal/emergency operation of the landing gears and doors. This analysis leads us to the conclusion that the proposed program is shown to be a better quantitative one that apply to a new development and troubleshooting of the landing gear system.

  • In April of 2000, the Korea Power Exchange(KPX) was introduced into Korea electricity market. The purpose of this paper is to describe how the system operator indicates operational risks between the transmission planning and the supply and demand growth to make the market "work" and manage the power system in real time. This paper describes the experiences of kpx about the indication of operational risks including, for example, contingency analysis, voltage profile and fault capacity of three-phase short current.

  • Children likes to play and learn by playing at anywhere as a psychological trait. Children's museum is designed for limited age of 'children,' they learn more actively by playing at the museum with interactive display. In this paper, we analyze Movement of Based on the Psychological Characteristics of Children and Analysis of Preferred Experience of Children's Museum according to Piaget's cognitive development process. It is significant study to investigate user's needs space proposal by grasping user's mentality. After itinerary tracking, we found children's preferred and non-preferred experience displays and as a result, we divided children's Museums into three types, M museum is represented by preoperational period, called 'Go around play' type ; Y museum is represented by 'concrete operational period', called 'Smart road play' type ; and H museum is represented by 'formal operational period' called 'Open search play' type. The conclusions are children's cognitive development stages depending on the age discrimination that the development of play, and preferred plays are different by children cognitive development process. In order to take advantage of children playing in the children's museum by taking into account the developmental aspects will have to be designed. Efficient for viewing by age should be different on the basis. This study has shown that, when planning a children's museum, Planners should discriminate the movements of children and analysis of preferred experience of children's museum according to three museum types friendly to children's cognitive development process.

  • In order to get the maintenance work for the normal operation of rail vehicles made safe maintenance training, which looked suffered direct physical train maintenance environment, gain experience to get out foster the practical skills, but experience the real maintenance in operational problems the maintenance procedures followed are difficult to be. So it can gain experience and knowledge of the actual maintenance work in safe conditions if you apply a simulation experience in a similar environment as possible to the actual train maintenance training can also reduce operational training costs. For a description of the current domestic and simulation programs of the railway sector it has been operating in overseas and is designed to train intensive training, maintenance and maintenance-related information is scarce situation. In this study, the contents of the theory of educational technology for effective training of train maintenance elements exhibit theory, theory of learning situations, designed to train maintenance training simulation through a previous study that investigated the problem-based learning theory.

  • It might be difficult to reduce failure rate for most of the cases are not available for debugging during operational phase, hence, there are some literatures to study that the failure rate is uniform throughout the operational time. The failure rate reduces and the reliability grows with time regardless of debugging. As a result, the products reliability varies with the time duration of these products in point of customer view. It accumulates the products experience, studies the efact operational method, and then finds and takes action against the fault circumstances. I propose the simple model to represent this status in this paper.
