This paper discusses the evaluation of the safety impact of the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) system in Korea. To evaluate the safety impact, this paper suggests an analysis method by using the test scenario and field operational test data. The test scenario is composed to represent the main component factor of the ACC system and ACC related accident situation such as rear-end collision, lane-change, and road-curvature, etc. Also, from the field operation test data, the system's potential to increase the safety can be measured ideally. Besides, field operational testdata was used to revise the expected safety impact value as Korean road conditions. By using the proposed evaluation method, enhanced safety impact of the ACC system can be estimated scientifically.

From the measured noise data, acoustic power level are estimated and compared with those of other similar size WT under the wind speeds required by international standard.
In this paper, we have proposed a methodology which can test and evaluate on system level in development phase of command guided missile system. Test and evaluation play a significant role in the development of weapon system, providing the means for determining to what extent the weapon system satisfies its requirements, whether it functions normally in the operational environment. In case of command guided missile having seeker, the missile communications link provides data to allow the missile to fly an efficient trajectory toward target. Therefore, it is very important to test and evaluate for data link between missile and radar on whole system aspect. we introduce the concept and devices for system level test and evaluation of command guided missile system.

Also, it is to examine the result after applying that on a basis of 25 students, consisted of only on class in a year, in the first year at the small size of agricultural middle schools. The result of this study from this research is as follows. First, as a result of frequency survey, of response about the developed evaluation data it showed positive response more than 80% of all the items. The atmosphere of self-directed learning was produced because the developed evaluation data could induce activity-based learning naturally by stimulating the students' curiosity and promoting interest. Second, this study executed t-test for the result of questionnaire about the mathematics propensity, and there were significant differences in 19 items among 25 items. It presented that the application of data about the teaching-learning and evaluation directly using concrete operational materials to the constructional learning by level might have desirable affect on the students' mathematical propensity. It came to be a motive that could increase value recognition and interest on the subject of mathematics by investigating a mathematical principle rule and confirming it through activity learning using the concrete operational materials.
This paper presents an information collection and a novel inference technique for evaluation of power system operation state. In most developing countries, power demands are steadily increasing and consequently power systems are becoming larger and more complicated. In addition, power system deregulations further complicate the power system operational tasks, which are resulted in prevailing wide area blackouts worldwide. In this paper, we proposed an effective information collection and operating state evaluation methods using a knowledge-based system. The RTS-79 24 bus system is used as a test system. The power system model is composed with JESS templates and included in the knowledge-base as a part of fixed facts. Dynamic informations are collected from various analysis results and actual operational data. Inferences are performed with rules expressed with terms in different abstraction levels. Future research will be concentrated on intelligent contingency selections for preventing wide area blackouts.
Although many organizations have implemented and used ERP systems for years, industry reports point out that the usage level does not reach their expectation. As a result, they do not enjoy the benefits from the investment into ERP systems. This study attempts to develop a research model and test the model empirically for identifying factors that affect the usage of an ERP system at a public organization. This study has classified potential factors into three groups of technical system characteristics (usability, usefulness), organizational support characteristics (operational support, education and training, evaluation and measurement), and user characteristics (organizational citizenship, self-efficacy). Then, a structural equation model has been established on the basis of previous literature and tested with empirical data. In summary, this study has found that self-efficacy, usefulness, and operational support have an effect on the ERP usage. Self-efficacy is the strongest factor; Usefulness is the second; and the third is operational support. On the contrary to the previous literature, this study has not found a significant effect of organizational citizenship on the usage. The result confirms that an organization can increase the ERP usage by improving the usefulness of an ERP system to some extent. However, to boost the usage further, the result implies that organizations need to strengthen the self-efficacy of their members by reinforcing operational support, providing education and training steadily, and establishing an evaluation mechanism in relation with the ERP usage.
