A Process Planning System for Machining of Dies for Auto-Body Production-Operation Planning and NC Code Post-Processing

  • This paper presents a process and operation planning system and an NC code post-processor for effective machining of press dies for production of cars. Based on the machining feature, major parts of press dies are categorized into 15 groups and a standard process plan is defined for each group. The standard process plan consists of a series of processes where a process is defined as a group of operations that can be done with one setup. Details such as cutting tools, cutting conditions, and tool paths are decided at the operation planning stage. At the final stage of process and operation planning, the NC code post-processor adjusts feedrates along the tool path to reduce machining time while maintaining the quality. The adjustment rule is selected based on the machining load estimated by virtual machining.

성별, 수술부위, 출산계획이 다른 수술환자의 상황-불안 비교 (Comparison of Surgical Patients’State Anxiety by Sex, Area of Operation, and Family Planning)

  • The major purpose of this study was to compare the state anxiety of surgical patients by sex (male/female), area of operation (sex-organ/non sex-organ), and family planning (having the plan of child-bearing/having no plan of child-bearing). One hundred sixty patients who were to get surgical operation were equally divided into eight groups resulted from combination of variables of sex, area of operation, and family planning, The state anxiety of surgical patients was measured in terms of the discrepancy score between the state anxiety score on the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI) administered at a day before operation and the trait anxiety score on it which was administered at a day before discharge. In order to test statistically the differences among meant scores of the state anxiety obtained by eight groups, multiple comparisons were carried out by Scheffe method. The results of this study led to the conclusions that, (1) there was no significant sex difference in the state anxiety of surgical patients, when the area of operation and the family planning variables were disregarded, (2) the state anxiety of patients who were to get operation of their sex-organ was significantly higher than that of patients who were to get operation on the parts other than their sex-organ, when variables of the sex and the family planning were not taken into account, (3) there was no significant sex difference in the state anxiety of patients who were to Bet operation on the parts other than their sex-organ, when the family planning variable was disregarded, (4) the state anxiety of female patients who were to get operation on their sex-organ was significantly higher than the stale anxiety of male patients who were to get operation on their sex-organ, when the family planning variable was not taken into account.

  • Facility location planning (FLP) problem is the strategic level planning in supply chain. The FLP is significantly affected by the operation time of each facility. In most of the FLP researches, operation time of facility has been treated as a fixed value. However, the operation time is not a static factor in real situations and the fixed operation time may lead unrealistic FLP. In this paper, a mixed integer programming (MIP) model is proposed for solving the 3-stage FLP problem and operation times are adjusted by the results from the simulation model and an iterative approach combining the analytic model and simulation model is proposed to obtain more realistic operation plans for FLP problems.

선각 내업 가공작업의 공정계획과 일정계획의 통합화 방안 연구 (Integrated Process Planning and Scheduling for Machining Operation in Shipbuilding)

  • This paper describes the development of an integrating method for process planning and scheduling activities for block assembly in shipbuilding. A block is composed of several steel plates and steel sections with the predetermined shapes according to the ship design. The parts which constitute the block are manufac- tured by cutting and/or bending operations, which are termed as machining operation in this paper. The machining operation is the first process for block assembly which influences the remaining block assembly processes. Thus process planning and scheduling for machining operation to manufacture parts for block are very important to meet the assembly schedule in the shipyard. An integrating method for process plan- ning and scheduling is developed by introducing the concept of distributed process planning and scheduling composed of initial planning, alternative planning and final planning stages. In initial planning stage, nesting parts information and machining emthods are generated for each steel plate. In alternative plan- ning stage, machine groups are selected and workcenter dispatching information is generated. In final planning stage, cutting sequences are determined. The integrated system is tested by case study. The result shows that the integrated system is more efficient than existing manual planning system.

  • 항만 운영은 크게 게이트부문, 야드 부문, 선석 부문으로 구분되며, 이들 부문에 대한 운영전략과 효율적인 자원할당이 항만의 생산성향상에 중요한 역할을 한다. 특히, 선석 부문에서의 자원할당 계획은 선석 계획으로서 선박의 작업시간과 직결되기 때문에 최적화를 필요로 한다. 선석 계획은 독립적인 자원할당이 아니라 야드 부문의 장치 공간 할당과 상호 관련성을 가지고 있다. 따라서 기존 연구들이 선석 계획에 대해 독립적인 자원할당을 연구한 것과 달리 야드의 장치 공간 할당과 상호 관련성에 중점을 두고 선석 계획의 최적화 모듈을 설계하였다. 선석 계획 최적화 모듈의 설계는 수리적 기법으로 표현된 기존의 제약조건에 야드의 장치공간 할당과 관련된 제약조건을 제안하여, 해를 탐색하고, 찾은 해를 최적화하는데, 타부탐색을 사용하여 선석 계획 최적화 모듈을 설계하였다. 그리고 선석 계획 최적화 모듈의 성능 실험에서는 야드의 장치공간 할당계획을 적용한 선석 계획이 그렇지 않은 경우에 비해 작업시간이 단축됨을 알 수 있었다.

천리안위성 정규 운영에 대한 임무계획 특성 (Characteristics of the Mission Planning for COMS Normal Operation)

  • 통신, 해양, 기상의 세 분야 복합 임무를 수행하는 천리안위성(Communication Ocean Meteorological Satellite: COMS)은 정지궤도 동경 $128.2^{\circ}$에서 2011년 4월부터 현재 정규 운영 임무를 수행하고 있다. 기상 및 해양 임무 운영과 위성 제어 및 관리를 위해 위성 임무 계획이 매일 수행되고 있다. 위성 임무 계획은 위성 실시간 운영을 통해 위성에 전송되고, 전송된 임무 계획에 따라 위성은 임무를 수행한다. 본 논문에서는 천리안위성의 임무 계획 특성으로 지상국 장비 구성과 일일, 주간, 월간, 계절별 운영 업무 특성을 논하였다. 천리안위성의 정규 운영 첫 1년간 운영 결과에 대한 토의를 통해 성공적인 임무계획 결과 확인도 제시하였다.

콘크리트 도로 표면절삭 작업을 위한 자율주행 진로계획 수립방안 (A Study of the Autonomous Driving Path Planning for Concrete Pavement Cutting Operation)

  • 콘크리트 도로 표면절삭 작업은 장비 조작자의 숙련도에 따라서 작업의 완성도 및 품질, 작업 생산성에 크게 영향을 준다. 콘크리트 표면절삭 작업을 자동화하기 위해서는 시스템 하드웨어 구축과 지원 소프트웨어의 개발 등이 필요하다. 표면 절삭 프로세스를 자동화 하기 위해서 가장 먼저 선행 되어야 할 부분은 진로계획의 수립이다. 장비의 진로계획을 통하여 기존 시스템이 가지고 있는 진로계획에 대한 취약점을 보완하며, 보다 효율적인 생산성을 가진 자동화 시스템을 구축 하도록 한다. 본 연구는 CAD를 기반으로 한 AUTO-Lisp를 이용하여 표면절삭 작업의 최적 경로계획을 결정하고 MMI 시스템 상에 적용하여 실시간으로 진행 경로 보정을 위한 진로 계획의 데이터 갱신을 통해서 보다 효율적인 생산성과 품질을 가진 표면절삭 작업을 하는데 목적이 있다. 그리고 도로 표면절삭 장비의 자율주행 진로계획 수립을 위한 AUTO-Lisp 파일 및 MMI 시스템과의 연계, 계획된 경로를 적용한 표면절삭 장비와 MMI 시스템을 직접 현장에서 테스트하여 실제 표면절삭 작업의 자동화 구현 및 절삭작업의 효율성을 높일 수 있는 방안을 제시하였고, 표면절삭 작업의 최적진로를 결정함으로써 경제성 있는 절삭작업을 수행 할 수 있다.

  • This paper presents an efficient algorithm for the reactive planning of transmission network under normal operating conditions. The optimal operation of a power system is a prerequisite to obtain the optimal investment planning. The operation problem is decomposed into a P-optimization module and a Q-optimization module, but both modules use the same objective function of generation cost. In the investment problem, a new variable decomposition technique is adopted which can operate the operation and the investment variables. The optimization problem is solved by using the gradient projection method (GPM).

  • A yard in a container terminal is a temporary storage space before containers are loaded onto the target vessel or delivered to consignees. For improving the utilization of the space in the yard and the efficiency of loading and discharging operations, it is important that operation plans must be carefully constructed in advance. A heuristic method is suggested to solve operation space planning problems considering workloads on handling equipment as well as space availabilities. The operation plans in this paper includes quay crane (QC) schedules and space plans for multiple vessels considering the workload in the container yard of container terminals. This paper evaluates the effectiveness of a space planning method and the performance of a new QC scheduling method using a simulation model.
