This paper presents a basic planning of CMDSS(Centrallized Maintenance Decision Support System)for future operation and maintenance of telecommunication network, the main components of CMDSS are MDB, MMB, DSDB, MDBMS, MMAMS, and IGMS. ANd the efficiency and the effectiveness depend on the adequate design of the decision procedure to assisy operation and maintenance persinnels.

In order for the optimal solution of generators’ annual maintenance scheduling to be applicable to the actual power system it is crucial to incorporate the constraints related to the equivalent operation hours (EOHs) in the optimization model. However, most of the existing researches on the optimal maintenance scheduling are based on the assumption that the maintenances are to be performed periodically regardless of the operation hours. It is mainly because the computation time to calculate EOHs increases exponentially as the number of generators becomes larger. In this paper an efficient algorithm based on demand grouping method is proposed to calculate the approximate EOHs in an acceptable computation time. The method to calculate the approximate EOHs is incorporated into the optimization model for the maintenance scheduling with consideration on the EOHs of generators. The proposed method is successfully applied to the actual Korean power system and shows significant improvement when compared to the result of the maintenance scheduling algorithm without consideration on EOHs.

Optimal feeding strategies in bioreactor operation of Scutellaria baicalensis G. plant cell culture were investigated to maximize the production of flavone glycosides by using a structured kinetic model which can predict culture growth and flavone glycosides synthesis in a rigorous, quantitative manner. For the production of baicalin and wogonin-7-0-GA, the strategies for glucose feeding into Scutellaria baicalensis G. plant cell culture were proposed based on the model, which are a periodic fed-batch operation with maintenance of cell viability and of specific production rate respectively, and a perfusion operation with maintenance of specific production rate for baicalin and wogonin-7-0-GA. Simulation results showed that the highest volumetric concentration of flavone glycosides was obtained in a periodic fed-batch operation with maintenance of cell viability among all the suggested strategies. In the periodic fed-batch operations, the higher volumetric production of flavone glycosides was achieved compared with that in the perfusion operation. It can be concluded that a periodic fed-batch operation with maintenance of cell viability would be the optimal and practical operating strategy of Scutellaris baicalensis G. plant cell culture for the production of flavone glycosides.

The study suggests a contract model of application operation through case study of A bank's IT outsourcing application contract based on workload. The IT outsourcing order form has a problem in that the scope of work is ambiguous due to the integration of operation and maintenance. In this study, application operation and maintenance were separated by referring to application operation history provided in ISO/IEC15504-5 standard. The scope of the IT outsourcing service was clarified by organizing the definition and detail activities of the application operation business. Application operation contract method has generally applied estimation method by the number of input manpower and period by agreement between buyer and client. As there is no activity to calculate the number of input manpower based on the operational work history and based on the standard workload per activity. In this case is not guaranteed due to the simple agreement between the contractors. In this paper, we propose an application operating cost estimation model that measures the size of the operating software using function point analysis that is the basis of application operation tasks. In order to verify the validity of the application operation cost model, we verified the correlation between the application size and the labor cost through regression analysis using SPSS.

본 연구는 항공기 운항에 있어 주요 구성원들인 항공정비사와 조종사들 사이에 내재하고 있는 공유가치나, 양자간의 갈등정도, 영향력이 그들간의 신뢰나 업무만족, 운항성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 살펴보았다. 분석 결과, 항공정비사와 조종사의 공유가치가 높을수록 신뢰가 높아지며 업무만족도 높아졌다. 또한 그들간의 갈등이 적을수록 신뢰가 높아지며, 업무만족이 높아졌다. 항공정비사와 조종사들간의 영향력이 균형을 이룰수록 신뢰수준과 업무만족 또한 높아졌다. 그리고 신뢰수준과 업무만족의 정도에 따라 운항성과도 달라진 것으로 파악되었다. 이상의 연구결과는 상호업무의존성이 많은 운항업무에서 항공정비사와 조종사가 지각하는 상대방에 대한 태도가 운항성과와 관련이 있음을 제시한다.

Seoul Metro railway facilities' inspection and maintenance tasks cause failure analysis, but if there is trouble the diverse cause investigation and the systematic analysis and management among broken facilities, related facilities and components fell short and the conditions are different. And, excess and insufficiency, under inspection and maintenance, is being raised regardless of the introduction year and the operating environment including the number of use by applying the same facilities in the uniform inspection cycle. In this study, we will analysis systematically facility system information, failures, operational status, performance, fault and maintenance information resulting from the maintenance management of railway facilities and derive the relationship between associated equipment and its components. In addition, optimizing the inspection and the maintenance cycles of railway facilities, we will improve the reliability of operation. Considering the probability of risk, it is possible to predict the occurrence of accidents or faults and to minimize the frequency of breakdown by pre-inspection maintenance. Finally, This paper is to introduce the content of constructing the Seoul Metro RCM-based failure analysis system for railway facilities to support the optimal continuance of operation status of equipments and the securement of the safe operation of vehicles.

The purpose of this study is to provide a basis for calculation of school operation fees for normal functioning of the school facilities, and facility maintenance and repair cost through their life spans, considering remodeling of the facilities and changes of their functions. This study analyzes maintenance and repair records during the three years from 2003 to 2005 in primary, middle and high schools in Incheon Metropolitan city and also the facility management and operation expenditure of the same schools in the city during the year of 2005, and presents quantified unit cost of each item according to the area, the age of the facilities, and the number of classroom, student, and lessons given. The calculation can be a basis for both BTL school facility managers and the general school facility mangers to budget school facility maintenance cost appropriately and the quantity of energy, water, electricity, and telephone fees calculated here can be a criteria for the managers to check the normal maintenance of their facility.

교육시설물 BTL 사업은 2005년 긴요하고 시급한 공공시설물을 앞당겨 공급하겠다는 취지하에 시작되었으며, 2007년 3월 준공이 완료되어 운영단계로 접어들면서 유지관리 업무에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있다. 그러나 BTL 사업 시행 초기이고 처음 운영단계에 접어들면서 운영 및 유지관리 업무에 실적 Data가 전무한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 교육시설물 BTL 사업의 효율적인 유지관리 업무 수행을 위해 업무 프로세스 도출 및 유지보수 Item을 규명하였다. 이를 통해 유지보수 업무 수행 시 발생되는 정보를 DB화하여 효율성을 극대화 할 수 있는 교육시설물 유지관리시스템 모듈 설계를 목적으로 한다.

This paper briefly reviews ITU-T recommendations associated with multi protocol label switch (MPLS) and Ethernet operation, administration, and maintenance (OAM). The broadband convergence network (BcN) architecture with a centralized network controller is introduced. An aggregation structure employing Ethernet, MPLS, and time division multiplexing (TDM) signal is presented for the BcN. A physical link failure scenario is examined to investigate how the maintenance signal is propagated between different layers.
