안전요원 배치 여부에 따른 무인운전 경전철의 운행중단 시간예측 연구 (A Study on Prediction of Suspension Time of Unmanned Light Rail according to Safety Personal Deployment)

  • The number of unmanned light rail train operators is continuously increasing in Korea. In a failure event during an operation due to the nature of the unmanned operation, recovery is performed based on the remote control. However, if remote recovery is not feasible, safety personnel arrive at the train to resume the train operation. There are regulations on safety personnel and the suspension time of the train operation. However, there is currently no rule for safety personnel deployment. Currently, railway operating organizations operate in three scenarios: safety personnel on board trains, stationed at stations, and deployed at major stations. Four major factors influence the downtime for each emergency response scenario. However, these four influencing factors vary too much to predict results with simple calculations. In this study, four influencing factors were considered as random variables with high uncertainty. In addition, the Monte Carlo method was applied to each scenario for the safety personnel deployment to predict train service downtime. This study found a 17% difference in train service suspension by safety personnel deployment scenario. The results of this study can be used in setting service goals, such as standards for future safety personnel placement and frequency of service interruptions.

버스운행관리 및 수송전략에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Bus Operation Management and Transport Strategy)

  • The bus should supply an equal service to the whole community as feeder trip. However the existing bus route can not supply an effective feeder service in spite of the changes in the latent demand by the variety of regional structural change. This study aimed to establish the concept which frames the bus operation and management to cope with the latent demand to the bus. This study tackled this evidence by analyzing the transportation problems in terms of the urban growth emphasizing the following issues ; First, the strategy to improve the bus operation Second the land use control appropriate for the public transportation network Third economical range to justify the bus operation Second, the land use control appropriate for the public transportation network Third, economical range to justify the bus operation Fourth, the allowance for the private transportation mode On the latter part, the difference on the bus operation was compared to determine the range within which the bus operation could be justified. This study would provide some implications to improve the management for bus operation and fundamental information to develop the bus operation system.

단체급식 서비스품질에 대한 고객사와 위탁급식회사 중요도-수행도 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Importance-Performance Analysis of Perceived Foodservice Quality between the Contractor and the Contractee)

  • This study aimed at investigating any differences perceived between the contractor and the contractee based on an importance-performance analysis (IPA) of foodservice quality attributes. Questionnaires were distributed to 200 personnel concerned in the Busan, Ulsan and Kyungnam areas and a total of 134 valid responses were used for analysis. Of the 23 foodservice quality attributes, the factors of 'food quality', 'employee service', 'hygiene and safety', 'customer orientation' and 'operation quality' were induced from a scale purification process through the exploratory factor analysis. The level of importance (p<0.01) of the 'hygiene and safety' factor and 'employee service' factor was not found to be significantly different between the groups. In the level of performance, the factors of 'food service', 'employee service', 'customer orientation' and 'operation quality' were found to be perceived significantly lower than expected by the contractor group. In the importance level, 'food quality', 'employee service', 'hygiene and safety', 'customer orientation' and 'operation quality' were rated by the contractor as 4.03, 4.30, 4.27, 4.01 and 4.12 points, respectively. In contrast, in the performance level, perceived 'food quality', 'employee service', 'hygiene and safety', 'customer orientation' and 'operation quality' were evaluated as 3.57, 3.94, 4.06, 3.83 and 3.95 points, respectively.

  • 신규 무선 네트워크 기술의 발전은 현재의 단일 네트워크 위주의 구성을 가진 무선 서비스 사업자에 새로운 다중 네트워크 (Heterogeneous Network) 환경을 맞이하게 하였다. 또한 무선 통신 사용자 수는 계속적인 증가추세에 있고 사용자들이 원하는 서비스의 종류 또한 계속적으로 다양해지고 있으며 사용자가 기대하는 서비스의 질과 수준 역시 높아지고 있다. 이에 무선 서비스 사업자들은 사용자들의 높아진 서비스 품질을 만족시키고 새로운 형태의 서비스를 안정적으로 공급하며, 현재의 네트워크와 신규 네트워크의 조화로운 운용을 위해 새로운 형태의 운용 구조 (Operation Framework)를 필요로 한다. 본 논문에서는 네트워크간의 비용/효용에 대한 한계 비용 (Marginal Cost) 산정 기법을 도입하여 서비스에 따른 최적 네트워크 운용 기법에 대해 논술한다.

  • The business is faced with the situation must improve a power in an increasingly competitive environment due to the recent rapid advance in information technology and the opening and expansion of global market, fast technological change, and various customer demand. The rapid change in information technology is having an effect on not only all the processes to develop products, but information contents that is provided for the purpose of customer value, and the appearance of products. In other words, the information technology is being recognized as a very important factor among other factors for companies to enhance their competitiveness. In addition, it is more efficient to focus on key factor to maintain the competitive advantage on the using of information technology by outsourcing information systems, rather than by operating the systems under their own. Since the global financial crisis, the long-term recession has been increasing companies who is ready to adopt outsourcing or adopted already. This study is to understand the environment and unique characteristics of outsourcing services and related industries focusing on information system operation and management in information outsourcing services, and is to set the concept needed through my theory that is connected to the service quality and customer satisfaction. A lot of business wiew the improvement of service quality and ensuring customer satisfaction as the major factors of business growth, and lots of ongoing studies have focused on service management in the Information outsourcing service industry. Yet few studies have ever concentrated on the quality of information system operation management service. This study, moreover, is to define the quality of service related with customer satisfaction from customer's viewpoint, measuring effects on customer satisfaction. The quality of outsourcing service on information system in this study is a great help to companies who are offering information outsourcing service, and company's managers and staffs who outsourcedto specialized company.

미국 대통령경호제도에 관한 고찰 (A Study on The United States Secret Service)

  • The United States Secret Service is the strongest presidential protective organization in the world. Almost every country's security organization in the world is benchmarking its organization, protective operation system, security equipments and etc. In this paper, I study largely on the protective operation system of the U.S Secret Chapter I is the introduction part. Chapter II introduces the establishment and the background of its development of the U.S Secret Service. Chapter III deals with the organization and ranking system of the U.S SS. Chapter IV consider the protective operation system of the 5.5. The main theory of the protective operation is the 'Protective Envelope Philosophy' which emphasizes the "Cover and Evacuate". Also the protective operation system is developed with the principle of the democracy and in the history of continuing assassination attempt against president. Chapter V describes the legal basis and missions of the S.S. Every protective operational mission of the U.S SS is peformed by the legal basis and democratic procedure. It is followed by concluding observation made in Chapter VI.

  • 대도시 고밀도 도시철도에서는 상습 열차운행 지연과 혼잡으로 승객의 불편과 불만이 커지고 있다. 도시철도는 열차운행의 비정규성과 수요의 불확정성 등 지역간 철도와는 다른 특성을 가지고 있다. 도시철도 운영회사에서는 실적자료를 기반으로 열차운행품질과 혼잡도와 같은 서비스품질을 집계하여 관리하고 있다. 그러나 수요와 승객행태에 따라 열차운행이 동적으로 변하는 특성을 가지고 있어 실제 느끼는 서비스품질을 표현하기에는 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 승객 관점에서의 서비스품질을 계량화하고, 도시철도에서 수요에 따른 정차시분 및 열차운행상태의 동적변화를 예측할 수 있는 시뮬레이션 방법과 지연/혼잡 해소방안에 대한 실제 사례를 기반으로 운행서비스품질의 변화를 예측할 수 있는 방법론을 제시한다.

  • A multibeam switching satellite system technology have started localized development to overcome the limitation of the frequency resource and geostationary orbit existing relay type satellite transponder and the required performance of the spot beam, and looked around the configuration and functions of the multibeam switching satellite communication system. This paper proposed that operation scheme and network control features for service definition, network architecture, transmission method of the natural disaster service network and public communication service network using this system.

  • After the reform of rail industry, a system to evaluate service qualities is required for the continuous improvement of railway service and the strength of competitiveness. This research provides evaluation categories and indices which are considered to be suited to the evaluation of rail service qualities. This study provides 4 categories and 11 indices to assess the rail service qualities: provision-operation interval/average operation speed, reliability-regularity/operation cancellation rate, safety- train usage term/facilities for the weak, client satisfaction- easiness of reserving and purchasing of tickets/comfort of queuing facilities/ kindness of train crews/ pleasantness of trains/provision of information, etc.

Basic Architecture of Navigation Safety Module in S2 Service of Korean e-Navigation System

  • IMO introduced the concept of e-Navigation and proposed MSPs(Maritime Service Portfolios) concept to reduce marine accidents, to improve efficiency of ship operation, port operation, and ship operation technology. Korean e-Navigation defines S1 ~ S5 services, as the service concept focused on domestic e-Navigation service corresponding to IMO MSPs, and is constructing a system as an ongoing project. S2 service (onboard system remote monitoring service) among the concepts of Korean e-Navigation services, is a service concept that judges the emergency level according to risk if an abnormal condition occurs during navigation, and provides corresponding guidance to accident ships based on emergency level. The purpose of this paper is to provide a basic architecture proposal of Korean e-Navigation S2 service navigation safety module, based on the S2 service operation concept. To do this, we conducted a questionnaire survey to ask experts with experience with sailors, to respond to the subjective risk experienced by sailors considering effects of anomalies, including equipment failure relative to sailing and navigational safety. Risk level for each abnormal condition was classified. The basic algorithm design of the navigation safety module is composed of safety index (SI) calculation module based on results of questionnaire and expert opinions, safety level (SL) determination module according to safety index, and corresponding guidance generation module according to safety level. To conduct basic validation of basic architecture of the navigation safety module, simulation of the ship anomaly monitoring was performed, and results have been revealed.
