According to the increase in numbers and operation time of domestic Nuclear Power Plants, KHNP(Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power) has many operating experiences. These show that most of the accidents repeatedly occurred not by the new sources or mechanism like the Fukushima Accident, but by the human and equipment errors from normal habits, process, design, maintenance etc.. These lessons show that the well-established systematic approach is requested to take lessons from past experiences. For this reason, developed countries established INPO, WANO, COG as a non-profit professional organizations to actively share their operating experiences. KHNP is also trying to promote the utilization of operating experiences. As part of this effort, KHNP is developing the KHNP-JIT, reflecting the overseas JIT and the domestic experiences.

Purpose: This study aimed to explore nursing students' experiences of observing surgeries in the operating room. Methods: The data were collected through written scripts of nursing students who participated in the operating room practice. Data were analyzed via qualitative content analysis. Results: Five themes emerged from the data: 'preparing with the thrilled hearts toward unknown area', 'drawing back in front of the mirror of realities', 'becoming an audience at a lifesaving orchestra', 'reaching a tipping point of knowing', and 'redrawing the trajectory of dream to be a nurse'. Conclusion: This study will prove helpful in describing their needs for systemic and emotional support. Findings indicated that major contributions of surgical observations to nursing students are more integrated understandings of nursing and the determinations of their career preferences.

The deregulation and structural reform of power markets have started from the early 90s, which has brought about new studies on the new environment. Regardless the market structure, however, power systems need to be operated and planned in a stable and reliable manner. Therefore, decisions on proper amount of operating reserves and their reliable operations are very important. Up to now, the decision processes of operating reserves depend mainly on experiences of operators in Korea. When Korean power market comes under private management, operating reserves would influence power rate as well as power Quality, Therefore, it is time to prepare reasonable operating reserve standards in a systematic way for the new environment. This study suggests the proper operating reserve standards considering rules of the power market in Korea. To verify the adequacy of the proposed standards, stability and frequency characteristics of the Korean power system are analyzed as well.

Selection of the best operating rule among a set of alternatives for a multipurpose reservoir system operation requires to evaluate many minor criteria in addition to the major objectives assessed to the system. These problems are sufficiently complex and difficult that they are beyond heuristic decision rules and experiences in case several noncommensurable multiple criteria are included in the evaluation. With the assistance of multicriterion decision analysis techniques, it is possible to select the best one among various alternatives by systematically comparing and ranking the alternatives with respect to the criteria of choice. Evaluation criteria for multipurpose reservoir system operating rules were identified and defined, and the multicriterion decision analysis techniques were applied to evaluate the four existing operating rules of the Chungju multipurpose project according to the identified nine multiple criteria. The application results show that the methodology is very efficient to select the best operation alternative among a finite number of operating rules with many evaluation criteria for a large-scale reservoir system operation.

This study examined the current status of the service networking experiences of workers in community child centers and the impact of various individual, organizational, and environmental factors on their service networking experiences. Structured questionnaires were mailed to the all community child centers in the Kyungnam area, and the data thus collected from 128 workers were used for the analysis. The findings indicated that most study participants did in fact possess service networking experience; however, the frequency was relatively low and the types of agencies in which this networking experienced was gained were somewhat limited. The results from the hierarchical multiple regression analysis revealed that being licensed social workers, the number of years in which a center had been operating, the numbers of workers and volunteers, the capacity of the centers, and workers' participation in work-related training were significantly associated with the frequency of worker's networking experiences. Based on the findings of this study, the implications for practice in promoting service networking among community child centers and other community resources were also discussed.

Purpose: This study was done to evaluate the experience of securing patient safety in hospital operating rooms. Methods: Experiential data were collected from 15 operating room nurses through in-depth interviews. The main question was "Could you describe your experience with patient safety in the operating room?". Qualitative data from the field and transcribed notes were analyzed using Strauss and Corbin's grounded theory methodology. Results: The core category of experience with patient safety in the operating room was 'trying to maintain principles of patient safety during high-risk surgical procedures'. The participants used two interactional strategies: 'attempt continuous improvement', 'immersion in operation with sharing issues of patient safety'. Conclusion: The results indicate that the important factors for ensuring the safety of patients in the operating room are manpower, education, and a system for patient safety. Successful and safe surgery requires communication, teamwork and recognition of the importance of patient safety by the surgical team.

This study analyzed participation experiences in a voluntarily learning community using both quantitative and qualitative methods. Sixty freshmen and sophomore medical school students in 10 learning communities participated in the study. At the time of the survey, learning communities had been operating for 10 weeks and had weekly in-person meetings. Satisfaction questionnaires and reflective essays were given and analyzed. The results showed that learning community experiences were effective in promoting students' learning motivation, cooperative learning, responsibility, and communication skills. Three essential topics and nine subjects were analyzed in the reflective essays. Three essential topics were conflict with each other due to the difference, forming deep relationships, and sharing and learning together with an in-depth study. The results of this study will contribute to collaborative learning culture and the development of learning communities in medical schools.

This study focuses on avoiding the failures from the wrong selections by experiences as simulation programs is not available, and suggests the methods which effectively select the alternatives when the selected model is not appropriate for the original plan. First, CC8800-1K of DEMAG has the longest boom whose length is 216 m at the maximum. The combination of the boom is feasible to second level except for MANITIWOC M 2250 (M-1200 RINGER) which is possible to third level. Second, the angle of boom is from 20 degrees to 82 degrees. Suitable angle to work is in the 55-78 degrees. The working load of crawler type and hydraulic one to be applied is 75-85% in the critical loads capacity. As increasing operating radius, crawler type is a favorable position over hydraulic one. Lastly, related problems were verified through examination by suggestions for the design of the selection methods for the case analysis. The major problems are stemming from the selection based on its experiences, unreasonable demand for the existing facility and repeated selections by the designer who accumulates his experiences via same or similar projects.

Many entrepreneurs who launched online fashion shopping malls faced failure compared to those who achieved success. Recognizing the importance of research that reflects reality, this study explores entrepreneurs' experiences during the failure process of online fashion shopping malls. Two studies utilized YouTube videos documenting such online fashion shopping malls' failure. Study 1 employed text mining techniques, including high-frequency analysis and topic modeling, while Study 2 used a qualitative research method, specifically grounded theory. Study 1 identified the prominent experiences of operating online fashion shopping malls, while Study 2 provided a holistic perspective on the failure processes. The integrated findings from both studies highlight that entrepreneurs' passion for fashion motivates them to establish online fashion shopping malls, yet they encounter numerous challenges during the operational process. Insufficient business preparation and operational capabilities contribute to their failure to achieve financial goals. Despite efforts to boost sales and profit, entrepreneurs often close their businesses due to inadequate funds and waning motivation. The outcomes of this study can inform us about the operational challenges faced by online fashion shopping malls and offer valuable insights for developing new strategies to sustain and improve them.

The author aims at first securing basic material required for developing and operating proper oral health care education programs though making an investigation into the undergraduates of S College of Education on the actual status of oral health care and perceptions of oral health care education. The obtained results were as follows 1. In the actual status of oral care based on whether or not they have experiences in taking oral health care education, undergraduates with teeth brushing for more than three minutes a time were found to be 25.9% and 15.7% respectively according to the existence and nonexistence of experiences in the education(pM0.020), and undergraduates with teeth brushing in a circular motion was found to be 64.7% and 51.7% respectively, showing statistically significant differences(pM0.015). 2. In the actual status of preventative oral care according to whether or not they have experiences in taking oral care education, degrees of awareness of the usefulness of dental cleansers among the undergraduates were found to be 37.6% and 21.5% respectively according to the existence and nonexistence of experiences in the education(pM0.001), undergraduates with experiences in scaling were found to be 51.8% and 34.9% respectively(pM0.002) and undergraduates with experiences in having dental sealants were found to be 26.5% and 16.9%(pM0.031), showing statistically significant differences. 3. In the survey on perceptions of oral health care according to the existence and nonexistence of experiences in oral health care education, it was revealed that the case that they indicated 'the necessity of oral health care education' was 87.1% and 64.0% respectively according to the existence and nonexistence of the experience(pM0.000), and undergraduates intended to 'participate in oral care education for students(at mid and high schools and so on) after being teachers' were 77.6% and 65.7% respectively, showing statistically significant differences(pM0.011). 4. In general characteristics according to awareness of the necessity of cultivating oral health professionals, groups with awareness of the necessity consisted of 31.8% of freshmen and juniors(pM0.001), 55.69b of female undergraduates(pM0.001), 80.8% of non-smokers(pM0.012), 38.9% of large city residents(pM0.002) and 32.3% of undergraduates living in their own houses (pM0.028), showing statistically significant differences.
