In this paper, we present an emulation library for the essential features and their API function calls provided by Direct3D, the most actively used API for computer game-related application programs on the MS-Windows-based desktop's, with OpenGL library in the Linux environment. In typical Linux-based systems, only the X window system and OpenGL graphics library are available. There are lots of needs for this kind of emulation library to convert the Direct3D-based game applications and user interfaces on these systems. Through carefully selecting the essential API functions from the DirectX version 9.0, we obtained the prototype implementation of that emulation library, to finally get the final full-scale DirectX implementation. Our implementation currently covers 3D coordinate transformations, light and material processing, texture mapping, simple animation features and more. We showed its feasibility through successfully executing a set of Direct3D demonstration programs including a real-world game character animation on our implementation.

With the popularization of open government data, Library-related open government data is also open and utilized to the public. The purpose of this paper is to diagnose the quality of library-related open government data and propose improvement measures to enhance the quality based on the diagnosis result. As a result of diagnosing the completeness of the data, a number of blanks are identified in the bibliographic elements essential for identifying and searching a book. As a result of diagnosing the accuracy of the data, the bibliographic elements that are not compliant with the data schema have been identified. Based on the result of data quality diagnosis, this study suggested improving the data collection procedure, establishing data set schema, providing details on data collection and data processing, and publishing raw data.

The automated computer-aided drafting technique is attempted for drawing process pictures of axisymmetric solid forgings which are mainly used in automobile industry. For this study basic concepts to draw the shape of an element are described and applied to the 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional modeling of forged parts. 2-dimensional display of process pictures is developed by using AutoLISP language in AutoCAD software of a drafting technique and 3-dimensional view of process pictures is based on the UG/open API and UG/open GRIP languages of Unigraphics software. Testing the developed program to forging of bolts and ballstuds, it was shown to give good results to be applicable in forging industry.

One of recent trends in Web-based GIS is the system development using FOSS (Free and Open Source Software). Open Source software is independent from the technologies of commercial software and can increase the reusability and extensibility of existing systems. In this study, we developed a Web-based GIS for interactive visualization of geographic information using Google Earth and spatial DBMS(database management system). Google Earth Plug-in and Google Earth API(application programming interface) were used to embed a geo-browser in the Web browser. In order to integrate the Google Earth with a spatial DBMS, we implemented a KML(Keyhole Markup Language) generator for transmitting server-side data according to user's query and converting the data to a variety of KML for geovisualization on the Web. Our prototype system was tested using time-series of LAI(leaf area index), forest map, and crop yield statistics. The demonstration included the geovisualization of raster and vector data in the form of an animated map and a 3-D choropleth map. We anticipate our KML generator and system framework will be extended to a more comprehensive geospatial analysis system on the Web.

Many researches about the effect on politics, economics and Sociocultural phenomenon using the social media are in progress. Authors utilized NAVER Trend most famous web browsing service in korea, NAVER Blog social media, NAVER Cafe service and Open Data(API) and also used temperature, humidity index data of Korea Meteorological Administration. This study analyzed a change of the public's emotion in korea using Cluster analysis of vocabulary of taste among its of feelings and senses. K-means clustering was followed by decision of the number of groups which was used Chi-square goodness of fit test and ward analysis. Eight groups was made and it represented sensitive vocabulary. By Discriminant analysis, eight groups decided by Cluster analysis has 98.9% accuracy. The change of the public's emotion has capability to predict people's activity so they can share sensibility and a bond of sympathy developed between them.

With development of internet, location-based service (LBS) is getting more interest in wire and wireless network, and many studies are in progress to provide various services such as GIS and GPS technique related to this. Today positioning and information providing service is accomplished by mobile communication companies' chasing the cell or building unique GIS system, but there is a lot of building-cost that must be endured to define boundary of collecting precise location information from chasing Cell and provide unique location information service. In this paper, it desires to make the database of location information with using GPS, relatively precise satellite positioning system, to cut the cost of building location information service, and to present service models such as children's positioning service that is to reduce the cost of building GIS by using Web Open API and provide location information of discrete object in real-time.

In this paper, we present a WebRTC-based emergency video call system structure that builds a service system in a constant monitoring environment to increase the usability and stability of elevator emergency call devices. The proposed system provides a smooth call environment between the emergency call system in the elevator and maintenance managers in case of an emergency, performs rapid response processing to elevator emergency calls through monitoring of the target elevator, and handles any emergency calls that may occur in the physical space of the elevator. The purpose is to build an environment that can implement low-latency, real-time video call services of voice and video by overcoming the physical constraints required for video calls. To this end, we have established a service environment based on OpenAPI, which is currently used in various fields and its performance has been proven, and provides video calls and emergency situation dissemination through rapid messaging by providing low-latency call quality. The presented system structure will be able to provide a basis for expanding various functions and constructing a reliable service environment and intelligent model for the elevator system through combination with the elevator control panel and various devices.

최근 들어 주식시장에 신규 개인투자자들의 유입이 많아지고 있다. 하지만 기본적인 금융에 대한 지식이 부족한 사람들이 많고 기존 서비스들은 금융 혹은 주식에 대한 이해도를 기반으로 직접 분석해야 했다. 이런 사람들을 위해 직접 분석하지 않더라도 투자할 기업을 판단할 수 있는 시각화 정보(Infographics) 서비스를 구현하였다. 필요한 정보를 얻기 위해서 open API를 사용하였는데 API의 특성상 윈도우즈 환경이 필요하여 리눅스와 윈도우즈 서버를 구축하고 서로 다른 OS 환경에서 이종 API를 처리할 수 있도록 개발하였다.

본 논문에서는 캠핑 입문자가 캠핑 관련 정보를 직관적이고 편리하게 확인하고 공유할 수 있도록 돕는 웹 응용 서비스를 개발하였다. 카카오맵 API를 통해 지도를 표시하고 공공데이터 포털의 Open REST API 중 하나인 한국관광공사 고캠핑 정보 조회서비스_GW를 활용하였다. 개발된 웹 응용 서비스를 통하여 캠핑 입문자들도 국내의 캠핑장 데이터를 지도에서 손쉽게 검색하고 커뮤니티를 통해 이를 교류할 수 있도록 하는 것에 목적을 두었다.

인터넷 환경의 변화와 함께 많은 서비스가 오픈 API 형태로 지원되면서 이들을 결합하고 이용하는 웹 기반의 클라이언트 프로그램이 모바일 환경의 주요한 어플리케이션 형태로 등장했다. 또한 차세대 웹 폼 언어인 XForms는 간편하고 효과적인 UI기술 언어로서 알려져 있으며, 다양한 모달리티를 지원할 수 있고 장치 독립성을 제공할 수 있어 모바일 장치에 더 적합하다. 본 논문에서는 오픈 API를 지원하는 XFroms 페이지를 설계하고, XForms의 특징을 살려 성능 및 표현력을 개선한 브라우저를 구현하였다. 또한 오픈 API를 사용하는 모바일 블로그 서비스를 XForms기반 오픈 API 페이지들을 통해 작성함으로써 제안된 시스템의 표현력과 유연성을 증명하였다.
