This paper presents a series of simulation results of transient stability on SCOPF operated power system whose transmission capabilities are limited by voltage stability. Three steps of voltage security guidelines, 5[%], 7[%], 10[%] are introduced to increase power transfer from generation centers to load center and observed the effects of voltage guidelines to transient stability for three kinds of load level(peak, medium, off-peak). As a result, dynamic characteristics weren't affected by the voltage security limits in model system, but became worse for the off-peak level than peak case, and sustain oscillations are observed for the all load level. This gives us some intitutions for the development and applications of security limits to use SCOPF program in open electric market.

It is well known that market transactions do not lead to social optima when externalities exist. Given that previous studies such as RICARDO-AEA(2014) have identified various types of external costs, we must take their magnitudes, or externalities in general, into account in order to make toll prices to achieve social optimum. Little has been done on estimation of externalities in road uses in Korea, to the best of our knowledge. We suggested to use the contingent valuation method (CVM) to estimate overall social benefits and applied it to estimation of benefits of road kill prevention as a pilot study. Our empirical model has considered heteroskedasticity explicitly and its estimation result was that individual drivers were willing to pay 147 KRW on average in addition to current toll prices for prevention of road kills. We provided general discussions of externalities in road use and various internalization measures.

Automobile markets are so fierce in the world market that every major manufacturer assure the buyer of the car by give a provocative warranty plan for their cars. For instance Hyundai motor company offer 10 years and 100,000 miles of warranty whichever comes first. But in order for this effort to be successful every critical component such as window switch has to be proven to be reliable in an adverse environment. Therefore, in this article reliability assessment criteria for window switch are established in terms of basic performance test, environment test and life test.

Development of maskless lithography techniques can provide a potential solution for the photomask cost issue. Furthermore, it could open a market for small scale manufacturing applications. Since femtosecond lasers have been found suitable for processing of a wide range of materials with sub-micrometer resolution, it is attractive to use this technique for maskless lithography. As a femtosecond laser has recently been developed, both of high power and high photon density are easily obtained. The high photon density results in photopolymerization of photoresist whose absorption spectrum is shorter than that of the femtosecond laser. The maskless lithography using the two-photon absorption (TPA) makes micro structures. In this paper, we present a femtosecond laser direct write lithography for submicron PR patterning, which show great potential for future application.

Nowadays, it seems we are in the high time of construction design because development of construction technology widen the option of construction exterior closing materials and deepen the high-tech construction method with all various materials. When we see the flow of construction market, the mainstream is the high-rise intelligent building, which makes the best use of the small midtown area efficently. Therefore, Alum curtain wall is becoming the main material of exterior construction, the concept of which is changing from just a simple window frame to an outer wall which has comprehensive function and capability. As we think of the importance of Curtain wall as a comprehensive outer wall, We should do thorough technical examination and verification at the stage of construction design and plan of carrying out construction.

The purpose of this study is to develop furniture design for the apartment based on the market research of furniture and interior design, and the survey on the design preference of hte apartment residents. The apartment furniture in living rooms, bed rooms and kitchens are designed according to the design concepts of preference image of apartment sizes: that of mid-size apartment(34pyung type) is Natural Modern image, large-size(59pyung type) is Korean Modern image, and extra large-size(81pyung type) is Classic Modern image. The living furniture is designed smaller in order to use the space flexibly, and the built-in furniture of bed rooms is designed simply like the wall of a room to be felt larger, basically. The furniture in kitchen is composed of the storage zone by high cabinets and the display zone by open shelves.

Tobacco is a well known cause of death worldwide. With existing comprehensive laws and various other measures for tobacco control, the mortality and morbidity due to tobacco usage have unfortunately not been reduced. A large number of tobacco users have altered their pattern of tobacco use after the gutka ban. Traditional gutka is sold in the open market in a pre-mixed format. Manufacturers are supplying pan masala and tobacco in separate pouches as there is no restriction for sale of pan masala and tobacco individually in many states. Although most of the population is aware of the health hazards of tobacco, it is necessary to develop an effective structured strategy. Tobacco control programs need to be strengthened by separate tobacco control measures at various levels.

In the 21st century, the concept of remote design and manufacture is strongly required in manufacturing processes to reduce cost and time-to-market. The objective of this paper is the development of an internet-based dimensional verification system for reverse engineering. An inspection client can register measurement data at the developed web server. Collaborators related to the development of a new product can confirm geometrical form from measurement data, check dimensional information and mark up the important parts, as well as make a statement of their views through the Internet. The developed system is realized through the ActiveX-Server architecture. Functions of the dimensional verification module are constructed as ActiveX by using the visual C＋＋ and OpenGL. The usefulness of the developed system is confirmed through a case study.

Shader architecture is one of the fastest growing fields in the ever advancing 3D graphics, and massive amounts of Ideas and technologies are being introduced to the market continuously. In this paper, we present a flexible cycle-accurate simulation environment to accelerate and alleviate the process of developing and verifying these ideas and technologies. Combination of 3D graphics API and hardware simulator allows OpenGL applications to be emulated off-the-shelf for a given shader micro-architecture. Easily modified parameters allow the simulation environment to be tailored to specific demands or requirements.

Survey questionnaires were collected from broiler farmers and analysed in this study to find out ways to respond to the open international chicken trades-chicken marketing plan and market price control. Broiler farm production and management were analyzed and it was found that number of chicken produced per farm was related to systematic and strategic level of farming such as chicken housing, technical problems, and cost of production.
