성형공정의 자유 경계면 접촉에 관한 유한요소 해석 (Finite Element Analysis of Forming Processes With Free Surface Contact Algorithm)

  • In this study, a contact algorithm for the finite element analysis of free surface contact problem in materials forming is presented. The proposed contact algorithm consists of two parts. The first is the contact searching part, and the second, the constraint part. The contact searching algorithm does not require any a priori knowledge of the pairs of contact nodes or segments and the impenetrability constraint is satisfied using the penalty function scheme. void colsure in open-die forging was simulated to verify the accuracy and capability of the currently developed contact algorithm. The simulation results, obtained from ABAQUS simulation, were compared well to the experimental data available in the literature.

  • Cogging is generally the initial and primary step in the manufacture of practically all large open-die forgings, and consists of forging and ingot by reducing the cross-section and simultaneously enlarging the body. A three-dimensional thermo-viscoplastic finite element model is used to study the distribution of internal stresses and strains of workpiece and temperature of workpiece and die during cogging process. Simulations are carried out on an circular ingot, using v-die and flat die, to study the effects of die configuration, die width, penetration depth, temperature gradient, die overlapping and pass design.

자동차용 브레이크 튜브 관단부의 성형해석 (On the Deformation Analysis of the Brake Tube-End for Automobiles)

  • Brake tube is considered one of the most important parts in automobile. The shape of brake tube end has a great influence on the function of brake, and the quality and productivity of brake tube have relation to die design. The forming process of brake tube end is performed by hydraulic press forming machine. In this paper, the forming processes of tube end for automobile is analyzed and designed to make the optimal form of brake tube end. Also, finite element analysis has been carried out using $DEFORM^{TM}% 3D to predict the optimal shape of brake tube end and the results obtained showed the optimal length between punch and chuck is $1.0{\sim}1.2mm$. The shape of tube end is in good agreement with the finite element simulations and the experimental results.

  • 본 연구에서는 업셋팅의 변형해석 및 온도해석(열전달 해석)을 비연계 방식으 로 동시에 해석하고 실제 공정에 가깝게 접근하는 축대칭 열점소성 유한요소 프로그램 을 이용하여, 시뮬레이션에 의해 공정을 해석하여 불량감소 및 원가절감을 위해 단조 공정을 개선하는 것이다. 업셋팅공정의 연구에 있어서는 대형강괴의 주 불량요인인 기공의 소멸을 위한 공정방안을 연구하는데 있다.

한국전통가구의 금속 손잡이 영문표기 연구 - 한국 및 서구를 중심으로 - (A Study on Terminology of Metal Handles in Traditional Korean Furniture - Focusing on Korean and Western Furniture -)

  • The article aims to making a comparison between traditional Korean and Western furniture metal handles to give the detail information of the handle terms by analyzing the related literature including internet and interviews. In terms of that, the Korean and Western metal handles are compared in the types, components, materials, methods, and terms affecting the development made by the craftsmen before the Industrial Revolution about the mid or late 18th century. As a result, first, ring and drop pull handles were mostly and wooden knobs were a little used to open the furniture doors and drawers. The Korean drop pulls, Deulswae, came out after the ring pulls, Gori, while the Western drops called loop or bail handles as well, came out before the ring pulls. Second, the components were composed by ring, Gori, loop or bail, Deulswae, Post, Baemok, washer, Baemokbatchim, and backplate, Deulswaebatchim. Most of the Western handles were fastened by the bolt and nut, while the post of two strips, Baemok, fastened the Korean metal handles. Third, the metal handles were created of brass and iron mostly, gilded gold and silver. Forth, the method were largely used by casting, engraving, forging, plating, and hammering in the Korean handles, and by casting, molding, engraving, and stamped in the Western handles. Finally, the terms such as "knobs, pulls, drops, ring and drop pulls, loop or bail handles, posts, washers, backplate, casting, molding, engraving, forging, plating, and stamped" were clarified by the two comparison in Korean and English.

고(高)망간강(鋼) 판재(板材) 제조(製造)에 대한 연구(硏究) (On the Manufacture of High Manganese Steel Plate)

  • 용탕의 온도는 탄소의 비율을 높이기 위하여 $1500^{\circ}C$ 이하로 해야 하며, 주입온도는 $1460^{\circ}C$ 내외가 적당하다. 주조상태에서 소지의 침상석출물은 orthorhombic $(Fe,\;Mn)_3C$로 판명되었다. 냉간압연비는 클수록 결정이 미세화되고 또한 경도도 증가하였다. 표면탈탄이 얼어 나면 표면층에 martensite가 형성되어 성형하기가 어려우므로 argon 분위기를 쓰는 것이 좋았다. 두께 1 mm 판재의 경우 수인처리 온도가 $950^{\circ}C$ 이하일 때 탄화물 stringer 가 나타났고, $1020^{\circ}C$ 에서 30 분간 가열했을 때 탄화물이 의 소지에 고용되었다. C 함량이 클수록 인장강도와 연신률이 증가하였다. Ni, Cr 및 V 을 미량 첨가했을 때 인장강도 및 연신률이 커졌으며 또한 굽힘성도 좋았다.

중소/중견 기업을 위한 OCR기반 설비 모니터링 시스템의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Implementation of OCR-based Machine Monitoring System for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprise (SMEs))

  • 4차 산업 혁명의 물결 속에서 스마트팩토리는 많은 공장에서 요구되고 있다. 하지만, 중소/중견 기업에서는 여전히 노후화된 설비를 보유하고 있어 스마트팩토리의 기초가 되는 데이터 수집 단계에서 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이 연구는 기존 설비의 개조 필요 없이, 설비 제어판의 이미지로부터 데이터를 추출하는 오픈 소스 기반의 기술을 활용 함으로써, 저비용으로 설비 모니터링하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 프로토타핑을 통해 자동차 부품 제조 공장의 단조 설비를 대상으로 테스트하고 평가되었다. 평가 결과 저가형 설비 모니터링이 가능함을 확인하였으며, 중소/중견 기업이 스마트팩토리를 구축하는 데 도움을 줄 것이다.
