  • There has been several meaning full efforts to save costs and expand the life-time of a system in changeful If circumstance. It was a module-based architecture that empower productivity at structured programming. It couldn't grow nor evolve, but could raise only calling frequency of module. But OOP or OO-method overcome limit of structured programing by class inheritance and/or overloading and/or over-riding. A component centric architecture, what is mixture of distributed systems, like CORBA. COM+ or EJB/J2EE with OOP. can support not only high reusability or expansion of life-time but also Plug-&-Play between component. In now day. It is not problem of component building but problem of interoperability between heterogeneous CBD Platform. At this study, the enhanced referential component architecture will be suggested.

  • The steady shear flow properties of six kinds of commercial toothpastes were measured using a concentric cylinder type rheometer. In this paper, the shear rate and temperature dependencies of their flow behavior were investigated and the validity of the Casson and Herschel-Bulkley models was examined. Further, the flow properties over a wide temperature range were quantitatively evaluated by calculating the various material parameters. Main results obtained from this study can be summarized as follows: (1) Toothpastes are plastic fluids with a yield stress and their flow behavior shows shear-thinning characteristics. (2) With increasing temperature, the degree of shear-thinning becomes weaker and the Newtonian flow behavior occurs at a lower shear rate range. (3) The Herschel-Bulkley model is more effective than the Casson model in predicting their flow behavior. (4) As the temperature increases, the yield stress, plastic viscosity and consistency index become smaller, on the contrary, the flow behavior index becomes larger.

  • This paper deals with measurements and evaluation of the time-changing electric and magnetic fields at a high-voltage laboratory. The electromagnetic disturbances originate mainly from ground faults and on/off operations of electric power equipments. The electronic circuits and control devices are very sensitive to electromagnetic interferences. It is necessory to evaluate the levels of interferences for a given electromagnetic environment. The electric field was observed by the electric field sensor having the bandwidth of the range from 40 Hz to 200 MHz, and the time-changing magnetic field was measured by the loop sensor of which the output is directly proportional to the incident signal. Also, the frequency components of the time-changing electric and magnetic fields induced by an oscillatory transient current and a chopped impulse voltage were analyzed by terms of the fast Fourier transformation, and those give the information about the levels of the electromagnetic interferences and the design of the electromagnetic shielding enclosures.

  • A theory for the material transports through ion exchange membrane has been developed on the basis of nonequilibrium thermodynamics by removing the assumption of solvent flow in the previous paper and applied to a detailed study of the ionic transport properties of new charged mosaic membrane(CMM) system. The CMM having two different fixed charges in the polymer membrane indicated unique selective transport behavior then ion-exchange membrane. The separation behavior of ion transport across the CMM with a parallel array of positive and negative functional charges were investigated. It was well-known the analysis of the volume flux and solute flux based on nonequilibrium thermodynamics. Our suggests preferential salt transport across the charged mosaic membranes. Transport properties of heavy metal ions, $Mg^{2+}$, $Mn^{2+}$and sucrose system across the charged mosaic membrane were estimated. As a result, we were known metal salts transport depended largely on the CMM. The reflection coefficient indicated the negative value that suggested preferential material transport and was independent of charged mosaic membrane thickness.

  • In this study, we focus on the recycling of cardboard waste and sugarcane bagasse (SCB) for the preparation of carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) and its conversion into a biodegradable film. Sodium alginate (SA) was added to form a biodegradable composite film. SA was used to increase film permeability. Glycerol, which is a plasticizer, was used to increase the tensile strength (TS) and film expansion. To characterize the CMC, X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and scanning electron microscopy were used. The addition of olive oil to the CMC-SA matrix highlighted its antimicrobial property against Escherichia coli (E. coli) and Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus). A slight decrease in tensile strength was observed with the addition of olive oil (OO), which improved the functional properties of the control films as well as lowered moisture content and water solubility. But considering all other factors, the composite films obtained from sugarcane bagasse and cardboard waste incorporated with olive oil are suitable for applications in the field of food packaging.

  • Past theories on construction price formation have been shown to be inadequate in terms of their ability to represent real-life industry practice and price formation predictability. In this paper, we develop a theoretical framework on construction price formation that integrates four theories within the domains of marketing, learning, resource management and economics. These are: (i) marketing pricing theory; (ii) experiential and organisational learning theory; (iii) resourced based theory and (iv) microeconomic theory. Utilising pricing theory from marketing, a foundation is able to be created for the procedure of construction price formation, namely: (i) identifying the objectives; (ii) assessing the tendering environment; and (iii) formation of the price. However, understanding contractors' decision making process in tender pricing as such can be attributed to theories of experiential learning and consequently organisational learning. It is argued that contractors do learn from past experience and history and are able to adapt to different market conditions. In formation of the price, neoclassical microeconomics is able to provide additional insight in terms of the supply and demand model and consideration of the market conditions. Interrelated with the microeconomic concept of scarcity, we appreciate that contractors do have limited resources that affect their tender pricing decisions and resource based theory is used to substantiate this. Integrating the various theories as a unity allows the broader reality to be visualised and add to our theoretical understanding of construction price formation.

  • Forest plantations become important strategy not merely for the financial aspect, but for carbon sequestration and ecosystem stability. Forest plantations increase the density of the forest biomass, which reduce the increase in atmospheric carbon dioxide. Biomass density is also a useful variable for comparing structural and functional attributes of forest ecosystems across a wide range of environmental conditions. In this study, carbon sequestration of teak (Tectona grandis Linn. f.) in the individual tree and plantation levels estimation was carried out Site-specific allometric equation for the estimation of teak tree biomass was developed based on the direct measurement of fifteen (15) harvested trees in the Oak-twin Township of the Bago Yoma Region, Myanmar. A regression equation of the diameter at breast height (DBH) and the aboveground biomass (carbon content) was constructed to estimate the carbon storage level of plantations, which averaged 79 ton/ha. The average carbon accumulation in the soil (up to 30 cm in depth) was estimated 38.89 ton/ha, The highest mean annual increment (MAI) of total carbon was found in the 6-yr-old teak plantation (12.10 ton/ha/yr) whereas the lowest MAI was in the 26-yr-old teak plantation (4.31 ton/ha/yr).

  • Tree species diversity is an important aspect of forest ecosystem stability. Tree species inventories at defined sites and in minimum diameter classes give a reliable indicator of the diversity level as well as the structural stability level of a study site. This study was conducted to investigate the species composition and the stand structure of the natural forest, timber-harvested forest (logged-over forest) and degraded forest of the Oak-twin Township in the Bago Yoma Region of Myanmar. Natural forest showed the highest family and species richness in all the investigated forests. At the family level, Verbenaceae occupied the highest importance value index (IVI) in all the forest stands while teak (Tectona grandis Linn. f.) occupied the highest IVI at the species level. However, the small diameter classes of T. grandis and other commercial species were less than those of big diameter classes in all the investigated forests. This abnormal pattern of diameter distribution could be a problem for the sustainable production of commercial timber species in the near future.

  • In this paper, analysis results on the failure of slope behind a Plant Complex of Gimhae due to typhoon Rusa in 2002 are introduced. The left side of the slope was reinforced by soil nails and the right side of the slope was going to construct slope reinforcement works. In the slope failure, the damage area is about $34,000m^2$, the lower width of slope failure is about 230m, the upper width of slope failure is about 50m, and the height of slope failure is about 120m. The elevation of a bedrock in the right side of the slope was lower than the left side of the slope. Due to the depth of weathered soils and weathered rocks in right side of the slope was thick, it will be expected that the effects of pore-water pressure during the rainfalls are large. For the analysis of the failure mechanism, 3-dimensional numerical analysis was carried out by FLAC-3D.

  • Recently, subways in the city are formed a vast underground network which is interfered with construction when large-scale infrastructure will be planned to nearby existing subway tunnels. Researches have been restricted to estimate stability of existing subway tunnel due to adjacent excavation causued by small construction such as buildings. In this paper, OO underpass is planned on the top of existing subway tunnel, which will be need large-scale excavation, is selected as a subject of study. And the purpose of this study is to analyze the effects on existing subway tunnel due to excavation by stages on construction of underpass. The 3D-numerical analysis was performed by using the MIDAS/GTS program. The stability on existing subway tunnel caused by sequential excavation is analysed using numerical results. Based on the analysis, the excavation orders and reinforcement methods was suggested for stability of exiting subway tunnel.
