In the flood of information, many consumers want to choose the style that is suitable for their sensibility, which is usefulness and need for personalized services have been steadily increasing. This study made a video of personalized internet shopping mall and then university students (N=170) who have been using the internet shopping mall were asked to experience this and the change in consumer response was measured. According to level of personalization, this study found difference of web-site evaluation, satisfaction/internet behavior and quality evaluations of products. With regard to preferred types of internet shopping malls and the number of access, the difference was investigated. The results are as follows. First, subjects who experienced internet shopping mall of active personalization showed higher level of active personalization. Level of passive personalization differed depending on preferred types of internet shopping malls, for example, people who prefer online apparel shopping mall were low but people who prefer complex big shopping mall and social commerce were high. Second, after experiencing internet shopping mall of active personalization, satisfaction/internet behavior and quality evaluations of products did not change but passive personalization decreased and active personalization and web-site evaluation increased. Third, the number of access to internet shopping mall positively correlated with satisfaction/internet behavior and web-site evaluation, on the other hand, active personalization negatively correlated with satisfaction/internet behavior and web-site evaluation.
Recently, web casting on the internet has been expanding in number and size. Web Casting is different from the conventional television broadcasting since it can transmit various types of information through multimedia and it also can include interaction between users and broadcasting server. User experience by interaction becomes more important. Therefore, it is needed to win over customers by supplying satisfied experience through creative and different services, especially when there are consider competitions among music casting sites. In order to know how to make customers satisfied, we have to try to inspect what real customers in the Web Sites are acting and thinking, namely 'customer experience'. The 'customer experience' means every experience what users are expecting, doing, thinking and feeling when they stay in the Web site and online. In this thesis, the evaluation Guideline for music casting websites is developed by understanding customer experience on the music casting websites. The process of understanding customer experience was implemented through user observation methods, such as web Diary, group interview, and questionnaire. As a result of the study, 67 evaluation Guidelines with weight rate in 6 categories which are searching music, listening music, music video, music broadcasting, music mailing and other contents are developed. It can be used to analyze strengths and weakness of music casting sites and to establish business strategy for the more satisfied customer experience.
Young Chinese audience can select and watch TV dramas, movies and entertainment programs from many different nations, such as Korea, America, Japan, England, Thailand, India, and so on, through multiple channels, such as online video sites - iQiyi, Youku, LeTV, PPTV, and many others - which were induced by changes in media environment. Various genres of Korean popular culture have recently become popular in China, but this phenomenon differs from the early Korean Wave. During the earlier period (from 1997 to the early 2000s) of the Korean Wave, soap operas were popular among middle-aged women, but now various other genres, such as K-pop, entertainment programs, etc., are also popular in China. The purpose of this study is to explore how young Chinese audiences use foreign pop culture, including their preferred genres, reasons for preferring these genres, and the relationship between the preferred pop culture and national image in Korean, American, and Japanese pop culture were analyzed. According to the study results, similarities and differences between preferred genres and the reasons for preferring these genres, and also a close correlation between preferred pop culture and national image were found. These findings will be fundamental for supporting the continual development of the Korean Wave in China.

The purposes of this study were to analyze the mobile learning usages of adult learners and how their perceptions of the mobile learning affects their learning achievements in a cyber-university. 1,118 online adult learners who enrolled in a cyber-university in Korea were involved in this study and the data for their demographic information, mobile learning usages, the perceptions of mobile learning(self-efficacy for mobile learning, perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and learning satisfaction) and the learning achievement were collected. The main findings of this study were as follows. First, the subjects in this study showed higher participation rates in the mobile learning with recently introduced mobile devices compared to the results of previous studies. They also showed the need of more learning materials and video streamed lectures. Second, the higher-aged subjects showed relatively higher levels of perception of mobile learning compared to the lower-aged group. Third, the effects of the subjects' perceptions of mobile learning to their learning achievement seem to be limited. It was recommended to enhance the quality of the mobile learning especially considering the relationships between the perceived usefulness and the learning achievement.

There is a common misbelief that female gamers prefers simple cute easy games so that they are incompetent if higher skill level is required or disqualified to be a winning party member in MMORPG. This pink game theories are the results of video game analysis done in US and Europe way before online games and mobile games become popular thus. there are many evidences that such misconceptions do not hold anymore. However, researches on gender game culture and gender preferences have not been seriously conducted since 2007 in Korea. Thus, in this paper, we surveyed 88 male and 151 female gamers from their late teens to 30s and found a gap between behavior and perception due to serious gender stereotypes. Gender differences are still found in several areas, but the degree of differences were weakened or in different direction from 2007. The game design to attract female gamers should understand such gender gaming culture and gender difference.
The purpose of this study is to explore supporting strategies for teaching and learning based on students' effect recognition and continuous intention in college flipped learning. It was analyzed 426 data by multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) by examining student's effect recognition and continuous intention on 15 flipped learning classes of K-university in Chungnam. The characteristics of learners were male, senior students, students who knew flipped learning, students who did not have previous experience, and students who were learning video at anytime. As a teaching strategy, it was found that effect recognition and continuous intention were high in the supplementary deepening flipped learning class and natural science or engineering area. As a teaching and learning supporting strategies, First, the university should develop and operate flipped class learning strategy program for females and low-grade students. Second, it should support the development of good flipped learning design and operation model of instructor. Third, it should support the development of high quality online learning contents that students can learn from time to time. Fourth, it should support the strengthening of teaching competency to develop and operate flipped learning classes. This study can be used as basic data to support and spread the effective flipped learning classes of the university in the future.

With the rapid growth and development of information technology and the Internet, the amount of information published in electronic formats such as video, audio, digitalized text, etc. and the number of users accessing information online to satisfy their information needs are growing at a tremendous rate. This study analyzes standardized components to construct ERMS and proposes a model of ERMS based on the result of the analysis. The main functions of ERMS in university libraries are: 1) ERMS can manage and control access information to various electronic resources, metadata, holdings, user resources. Also, ERMS can be compatible with an existing library system such as IR(Information Retrieval) system, linking system, or proxy system. 2) ERMS should completely be compatible with acquisition and cataloging systems for effective management and control of integrated information organization and library budget. 3) ERMS should systematically and effectively manage license information on electronic resources. 4) ERMS should provide ideal and effective environment for use and access control of electronic resources in a library and integrated tool to manage and control all of electronic resources. Additionally, this study points out the need to organize committee groups to establish standardized rules and collaborative management of electronic resources among university libraries like DLF ERMI and redesign organizations in a library and a librarian's job description.

Many universities are offering some of their offline courses for anyone to learn free online as an MOOC format. University libraries In response to changing university conditions, foreign university libraries are struggling to redefine their roles and provide new services. This study aimed to find the trends and models to support MOOCs in foreign libraries and Library and information science domain by conducting a systematic review of studies on foreign library and information journals which have been published from 2012 to 2015. A total of 34 out of 348 studies were included in the final analysis. This study also aimed to present the limits and the future models of MOOC support direction. The relevant articles could be identified, two criteria: 24 MOOCs studies relating to Libraries and 10 MOOCs studies related to LIS. The selected articles were summarized and analyzed yearly. The study identifies elements of library MOOC support models in 5 areas including MOOC design (copyright clearance and consulting, content licensing, open content), production support (course production, video editing, librarian MOOC production), management support (instructional design and content creation, students support), evaluation (MOOC data collection, analysis), reuse (MOOC metadata management, archive structure). Based on these findings, this study suggested the models of library MOOC support and set the theoretical fundamentals.
Most Social Network Service (SNS) provide online chat, video and file sharing, blogging and others. Because of this advantage, people depend on SNS to communicate with others. However, recently SNS encourage people to reveal too much information broadly so SNS users are concerned about privacy invasion and data spill. They also feel fatigue in process of touching people they don't know while using SNSs. That is the reason why they attempt to switch from opened SNS to Closed SNS. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to empirically investigate and analyze the effect of the factors on the SNS users' switching behavior when using SNS. To accomplish this purpose, this research adopted "Push-Pull-Mooring (PPM)" framework. The PPM is proposed by population geologist, who used it to explain the incentives of demographic migration. Following PPM model, this research empirically examines the three categories of antecedents for SNS switching intention toward closed SNS: push (i.e., weak connection, privacy concern, relative complexity), pull (i.e., enjoyment, belongingness, peer influence), mooring (i.e., SNS fatigue, user resistance) factors. The survey was conducted for 285 users on SNS communities in Korea. The results of this study are as follows; First, wear connection and privacy concern are significantly related to SNS switching intention. Second, enjoyment and belongingness are significantly related to SNS switching intention. Finally, the results show that SNS fatigue has a moderating effect on the links between push factors and SNS switching Intention. Also, user resistance has a moderating effect on the links between pull factors and SNS switching Intention. These findings contribute to the SNS literature both theoretically and practically.
Purpose - This study's objective is to analyze the content of the communications between users and producers based on the construal level theory. User generated content refers to content created in an online-based service where users and producers communicate interactively with each other. In a user generated content platform, the messages sent and received between the many players, the users and producers who use the content, may be analyzed at the psychological level based on construal level theory. Research design, data, and methodology - This study gathered user and producer participation through a snow-bowling sampling method. The data analyzed includes 125 video clips and 2,912 comments. The period of the data collection was from September 2014 to December 2014. The collected data was analyzed using a t-test and two-way ANOVA. Results - This study obtained the following research results. First, users who were a short social distance from producers responded to user participatory activities stated in concrete language rather than abstract language. In contrast, users who were at a longer social distance from producers tended to respond to the content requesting user participation through abstract language. Second, if users and producers were at a short social distance from each other, user preference increased more when a producer response to user participation was expressed concretely rather than when it was expressed abstractly. In contrast, if the users were at a longer social distance, users' preferences increased more when producer response was expressed abstractly rather than when it was expressed concretely. Conclusion - This study found that the effect of suitability, in which the social distance and the content were in congruence at the construal level, could be observed. Therefore, based on this, academic and practical implications were drawn. The three main insights of the study are as follows. First, firms can use psychological factors to analyze the message content of users in their distribution platforms. This study reveals managerial implications for marketing managers who want to take make use of this analysis of user and producer communications. This study indicates that the main factors include the concrete and abstract scores and social distance between users and producers. Second, we also provide the strategic guidelines to maximizing user preferences and other outcomes. The main dependent variable in this study is the user preference shift; the variable increases through the congruence effect; and the construal level is determined by the social distance between the users and producers and the type of producer response. The outcomes here from users can be utilized to develop several systemic strategies. One process to use the outcomes could be: (1) firms could measure the users and producers social distance; (2) calculate the concreteness or abstractness of the messages; and, (3) predict the user preference outcomes by the congruence between user and producer social distance and the abstractness or concreteness of the message content.
