  • This study aims to develop online convention service quality and examine the effect of online convention service quality on re-participation intention in the same convention and other types of online conventions. Based on an extensive literature review, the study chose five main factors of online convention service quality: human service, program service, platform service, platform aesthetics, and interaction. A total of 284 data were collected from online convention participants from July 26 to August 6, 2021. For the hypotheses test, multiple regression analysis was used. As a result, interaction and program service quality had positive effects on re-participation intention in the same convention, but except for platform aesthetic, all factors positively affected re-participation intention in other types of online conventions. This study also found that online service quality factors are more helpful in predicting the intention of re-participation in other types of online conventions rather than re-participation in the same convention. Based on the results, theoretical and practical implications were discussed

Two experiments were designed to test hypothesizes. Results and Conclusion: First, emotional MGC (vs. informational MGC) has lower (higher) perceived utility (hedonic) value. Second, perceived value has a significant mediate role in the effect of MGC on continuous following intention. Third, perceived value and continuous following intention significantly and sequentially mediated the effect of MGC on online purchase intention. Through the sequential mediations of perceived utility value and continuous following intention, Informational MGC of search products significantly increase online purchase intentions. Another parallel sequential mediation, including perceived hedonic, emotional MGC of experience products, partially enhanced online purchase intentions. • Relationships between students' perception of psychological distance with online professors and their academic learning achievement and their intention to continue online learning were examined. The courses selected for this study are two online courses: 1) 'English Grammar' and 2) 'TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication) Preparation' offered by a campus-based, medium-sized university. This study employed a mixed-methods approach by conducting a survey as well as one-on-one interviews with students. Students who feel psychologically distant with the online professors show significantly lower degree of perceived learning achievement, and higher tendency not to take online courses any more. All the three scales measuring the psychological distance -mutual awareness, connectedness, and availability- with professors turned out to be significantly related with students' perceived learning achievement. According to the result of the interview data analysis, the student interviewees unanimously said that the university should limit the number of online courses that students can register in a semester to one or two courses. Most students regard low interactivity of online learning as inevitable phenomenon. There is a statistically significant difference in perceived learning achievement between the online preferred group and the offline preferred group. Also, there is a significant difference in connectedness and availability and no significant difference in the degree of mutual awareness between the online and the offline preferred group.

  • Many entrepreneurs who launched online fashion shopping malls faced failure compared to those who achieved success. Recognizing the importance of research that reflects reality, this study explores entrepreneurs' experiences during the failure process of online fashion shopping malls. Two studies utilized YouTube videos documenting such online fashion shopping malls' failure. Study 1 employed text mining techniques, including high-frequency analysis and topic modeling, while Study 2 used a qualitative research method, specifically grounded theory. Study 1 identified the prominent experiences of operating online fashion shopping malls, while Study 2 provided a holistic perspective on the failure processes. The integrated findings from both studies highlight that entrepreneurs' passion for fashion motivates them to establish online fashion shopping malls, yet they encounter numerous challenges during the operational process. Insufficient business preparation and operational capabilities contribute to their failure to achieve financial goals. Despite efforts to boost sales and profit, entrepreneurs often close their businesses due to inadequate funds and waning motivation. The outcomes of this study can inform us about the operational challenges faced by online fashion shopping malls and offer valuable insights for developing new strategies to sustain and improve them.
