The advancement of Internet technologies has provided a new and effective way to cultivate international talents. To investigate the effect of native English teachers' online synchronous classes on Chinese primary school students' oral English improvement, an 18-month quasi-experimental study was conducted on 300 primary school students in China. The experiment and control groups were provided biweekly synchronous online classes with native and non-native English teachers. SPSS was used to conduct Paired Sample T-Tests and analyze performance differentials. The results showed that online classes taught by native English teachers perform better than non-native English teachers in three areas: vocabulary accuracy, average sentence length, and phonological intonation.
This study compared the perceptions of 548 Korean and Indonesian secondary school teachers in the COVID-19 era and examined factors affecting their intention to continue online learning. Based on survey data, the two countries were compared on seven factors (teaching readiness, challenges and issues, competencies that require training, sources of support, types of support, and endurance). Furthermore, we examined what factors influence the intention to continue online learning. As a result, Korean teachers perceived their teaching readiness for online learning to be less than that of Indonesian teachers. Indonesian teachers perceived that they did not receive sufficient support. Additionally, factors affecting the intention to continue online learning differed depending on the country. Based on these results, we suggested implications for integrating online learning into mathematics education.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to examine academic stress, social support and learning management system(LMS) utilization satisfaction of learners attending online graduate schools and understand the factors influencing their academic persistence. Methods: The participants were students of K online graduate school and the data of 143 students, in total, were collected from April to May in 2019. For data analysis, frequency analysis, x2 test, t-test, F-test, Pearson's correlation and multiple regression analysis were conducted using SPSS ver. 23. Results: Academic stress, social support, and LMS utilization satisfaction were associated with academic persistence of online graduate students. The multiple regression analysis of the factors influencing academic persistence showed that the model was significant (p<.001) with an explanatory power of 23% and that significant factors influencing it were academic stress (β=-.23, p=.002), LMS utilization satisfaction (β=.31, p<.001) and jobs (β=.23, p=.002). Conclusion: Although the online graduate students' level of academic persistence was high, it is required to develop strategies to alleviate their academic stress and increase LMS utilization rate in order to increase their persistence to academic success. In addition, it is necessary to provide the foundation on which the utilization of major knowledge regarding jobs can be enhanced, reflecting the characteristics of online graduate students. Furthermore, this study is expected to contribute to the extension of professional and advanced education in response to social needs by developing a variety of online high education learning systems beyond time and space.
The advancement of online technology in the 21st century has increased online courses and web-based communication in higher education. This type of education is not limited by time or location and has made it possible to expand university campuses globally and broaden the reach of university education to the general public and students from other universities. Changes such as a decrease in the school-age population and a reorganization of the university structure have also created an opportunity to change the perception of online education. In this paper, we conducted surveys on K University students, high school seniors, and the general public to assess their satisfaction with online courses, identify areas that require massive online courses, and determine students' needs for the operation of massive online courses. The survey showed that K University students are generally satisfied with online courses. However, improvements are needed to ensure a smooth online course-taking environment, increase system uniformity, and enhance the overall online course environment. High school students have a strong preference for natural science and should be offered online courses in subjects such as mathematics and physics as prerequisites to prepare for their major classes. The general public prefers the humanities, which is evident in the purpose of the liberal arts lectures.

This paper measures the operational efficiency of domestic online game companies and analyze its trends and patterns by using data envelopment analysis (DEA). DEA is a non-parametric approach to measuring the relative efficiency of decision-making units (DMUs) with multiple inputs and outputs. 14 online game companies are selected as DMUs and three inputs (number of employees, capital and asset) and three outputs (sales, operating profit and net profit) are selected as DEA variables. First, the output-oriented BCC model and super-efficiency model are employed to measure the static operational efficiency of the online game companies from 2003 to 2012. We also conduct the dynamic analysis with DEA window model to capture the trends of their operational efficiency influenced by internal and external environmental changes. The results are expected to provide fruitful implications for strategic decision making of online game companies and policy making for the online game industry.
Purpose - For the development of fresh food shopping malls, consumers should continue to experience loyalty and favorability for the company's products or brands, and this should lead directly to purchase so that active word-ofmouth and recommendation should be encouraged. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of e-service quality and e-ERM on e-loyalty with customer satisfaction and commitment as mediators. Research design, data, and methodology - This study was conducted by sample survey method on 320 online customers who have experience in using major online fresh food shopping malls for more than one year. Data analysis methods were frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation model analysis. Result - Hypothesis 1 through Hypothesis 7 were all supported. The results of this study suggest that e-service quality and e-CRM of online fresh food shopping malls have a significant effect on satisfaction and commitment. Therefore, the conclusion has been derived that the focus of this study, that such satisfaction and commitment have a significant effect on e-customer loyalty. has been supported theoretically and empirically. Conclusion - This study suggests that studies on customer loyalty based on activation commerce factors related to fresh food in online shopping malls will be an index that can reflect on customer's needs corresponding with future trends of not only online shopping malls but also offline shopping malls.
Purpose - The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of customer's communication on sales performance in the online market. Research design, data, and methodology - This study uses linear regression analysis to examine the effects of product review characteristics which are the result of customer's communication, on sales performance by using product reviews of online marketplace Amazon. Result - The increase in the number of product reviews positively affected sales performance. An increase in extreme opinions in the product review has a positive effect on sales performance. The product review length has a negative effect on sales performance. Conclusions - This study has shown the online marketplace customers' communication can influence sales performance using product review big data. This study contributed to the theoretical completeness by analyzing all the products of the book category in Amazon online market. This research will complement the theories regard to the customer behavior affecting sales performance. We expect the empirical analysis result will provide empirical help to sellers, online marketplace operators, and customers. In particular, the number of letters in the product may negatively affect sales performance, so sellers need to consider this effect carefully when exposing product reviews.
This study explored the potential associations among older adults' online community uses, socialization, and social isolation. Results from the hierarchical regression analysis indicated that the quality and size of personal networks composed of online community members positively influences older adults' socialization and reduces social isolation. However, the frequency of meeting with online community members in offline settings was not significantly associated with socialization. Moreover, the amount of time using online communities indirectly and significantly affected social isolation, mediated by socialization. Results from this study address the positive roles of online community uses in overcoming psychological difficulties among elderly people.
Dissolved oxygen, pH and cell concentration have been online monitored in cultivation processes with Escherichia coli by using a $MABOOMS^{TM}$ (microplate-based bioreactor with optical online monitoring systems). Fluorescent sensing membranes containing Ru ${(dpp)_3}^{2+}$ or HPTS were prepared with GA sol-gel matrix and coated into a well of a 24-well microplate. Fluorescence intensity was measured and correlated to the dissolved oxygen or pH. Cell concentrations were also online monitored by measuring optical reflectance at 650 nm. A well of a 24-well microplate could also be divided into 4 parts, each of which was coated with fluorescent sensing membranes for the detection of dissolved oxygen or pH. The 24-well microplate coated with fluorescent sensing membranes or a 4-divided sensing membrane. was used to online monitor the dissolved oxygen, pH and cell concentration during E. coli cultivations. The online monitoring results showed the characteristics of cell growth in cultivation processes very well.

This paper proposes a strategic portfolio model for managing performance of online games. The portfolio matrix is composed of two dimensions: financial performance and non-financial performance. Financial performance is measured by the conventional measure, average revenue per user (ARPU). In terms of non-financial performance, five non-financial key performance indicators (KPIs) that have been widely used in the online game industry are utilized: RU (Register User), VU (Visiting User), TS (Time Spent), ACU (Average Current User), MCU (Maximum Current User). Data envelopment analysis (DEA) is then employed to produce a single performance measure aggregating the five KPIs. DEA is a linear programming model for measuring the relative efficiency of decision making unit (DMUs) with multiple inputs and outputs. This study employs DEA as a tool for multiple criteria decision making (MCDM), in particular, the pure output model without inputs. Combining the two types of performance produces the online game portfolio matrix with four quadrants: Dark Horse, Stop Loss, Jack Pot, Luxury Goods. A case study of 39 online games provided by company 'N' is provided. The proposed portfolio model is expected to be fruitfully used for strategic decision making of online game companies.
