This study starts from an experience-oriented perspective that raises the need to examine the individual's cultural consumption experience with qualitative approach. In particular, this study aims to analyze in-depth the journey of the performance experience by connecting with offline-based social relationships as well as online-based informative and communicative behaviors. For this, in-depth interviews were conducted with 15 teams (30 people) by setting up two people as research units, and self-recorded data using the mobile application were collected. Results showed that social media and online communication play an important role before and after the performance in amplifying the performance experience and the consumer's taste developments. This study also found that relational aspects of the performance experience by identifying the significance of the partners and the existence of the cultural taste leader. For each result, there was a difference among audience proficiency: enthusiastic, interested, and indifferent audiences. Based on these results, we suggest that the performance experience should not be limited to the performance itself, but should be understood in a comprehensive manner before and after the performance, and that the consumption of the performance takes place in a social relationship, not in an individual's own experience only.

Performance enhancement is one of the most important issues in high performance distributed computing systems. In such computing systems, online users submit their jobs anytime and anywhere to a set of dynamic resources. Jobs arrival and processes execution times are stochastic. The performance of a distributed computing system can be improved by using an effective load balancing strategy to redistribute the user tasks among computing resources for efficient utilization. This paper presents a multi-class load balancing strategy that balances different classes of user tasks on multiple heterogeneous computing nodes to minimize the per-class mean response time. For a wide range of system parameters, the performance of the proposed multi-class load balancing strategy is compared with that of the random distribution load balancing, and uniform distribution load balancing strategies using simulation. The results show that, the proposed strategy outperforms the other two studied strategies in terms of average task response time, and average computing nodes utilization.

Due to social distancing caused by COVID 19, music concerts have not been allowed at home and abroad, and it is not known when overseas concerts will be able to resume unless the pandemics calm down, even if they are available. Meanwhile, people consume much more content through online services such as Netflix and YouTube than before. Under these circumstances, the music industry expects the virtual livestreamed performance to restore sluggish live performances again and bring about a digital renaissance. It also leads to the issue of reestablishing a copyright system regarding a livestreamed performance and of preparing a new rate of royalty standards for the use of works in OTT. In addition, a multi-territorial licensing of r ights in musical works is necessary to resolve copyright issues efficiently by applying the same term s to all countries from where the audience comes. In this paper, I examine the legal nature and the decision of copyright fees of performances as an integral part of the music industry.
Measurements have been made in an automotive HVAC b1ower for two different centrifugal fans. This work is directed at improving the performance of a conventional forward-curved centrifugal fan for a given small blower casing. Mean velocities and pressure have been measured using a miniature five-hole probe and a pressure scanning unit connected to an online data acquisition system. First, we obtained the fan performance versus flow rates showing a significant attenuation of unstable nature achieved with the new fan rotor in the surging operation range. Second, aerodynamic characterizations were carried out by investigating the velocity and pressure fields in the casing flow passage for different fan operating conditions. The measurements stowed that performance coefficients are strongly influenced by flow characteristics at the throat region. The main flow features ware common in both fans, but improved performance is achieved with tole new fan rotor, particularly in lower flow rate legions. Based on the measured results, design improvements were carried out in an acceptable operation range, which gave considerable insight into what features of flow behavior ware most important.
This study aims to examine the effects of self-directed learning readiness (SDLR) on academic performance and the perceived usefulness for each elements of flipped learning. Based on their SDLR scores, 69 students were assigned to a high SDLR group and a low SDLR group. Academic performance was measured by the completion rate of a pre-class online learning and the final exam score, and perceived usefulness for each element of flipped learning was measured by a survey designed by the researcher. For academic performance, the high SDLR group showed a significantly higher completion rate than the low SDLR group, but no significant difference was observed in their final exam scores. Students in the high SDLR group perceived in-class student-centered activities as more useful than those in the low SDLR group. Additional qualitative analyses indicated that students needed more support from instructors and well-prepared peers. Finally, this study suggested that more examination on the various learning characteristics that may influence the effectiveness of flipped learning should be done.
The purpose of this study was to quantitatively evaluate the effectiveness of learning management systems (LMS) in the physical geography class. The study adopted the experimental design and three classes participated in this study. The first class was controlled using only classroom lectures, the second class used PPT slides along with the classroom lectures, and the third class used online video clips along with the lectures. The experiments were conducted from the Spring Semester 2007 to the Spring Semester 2008 for the introductory physical geography course. The study results showed that online learning tools help students improve academic performance and their attitudes towards the class and the instructor. Compared to simple PowerPoint slides, voice recording attached to the visual lecture slide materials enhanced students' motivation. Class lectures with lecture slides did not improve students' scores. However, when the visual materials were combined with voice recording, the number of internet access to online class materials increased, and class attendance and students' final grades were improved. Based on the results, the instructional design model that combines classroom and online learning was suggested.

This paper proposes the OOPP(Optimized Online Portfolio Platform) design for the job seekers to search for the job competency necessary for employment and to write and manage portfolio online efficiently. The OOPP consists of three modules. First, JDCM(Job Data Collection Module) stores the help-wanted advertisements of job information sites in a spreadsheet. Second, CSM(Competency Statistical Model) classifies core competencies for each job by text-mining the collected help-wanted ads. Third, OBBM(Optimize Browser Behavior Module) makes users to look up data rapidly by improving the processing speed of a browser. In addition, The OBBM consists of the PSES(Parallel Search Engine Sub-Module) optimizing the computation of a Search Engine and the OILS(Optimized Image Loading Sub-Module) optimizing the loading of image text, etc. The performance analysis of the CSM shows that there is little difference in accuracy between the CSM and the actual advertisement because its data accuracy is 99.4~100%. If Browser optimization is done by using the OBBM, working time is reduced by about 68.37%. Therefore, the OOPP makes users look up the analyzed result in the web page rapidly by analyzing the help-wanted ads. of job information sites accurately.
This study focused on analyzing the contents of social big data produced in the online space, dealing with issues related to food in the community in the context of COVID-19. First, this study analyzed food-related issues that spread through regional websites and online community(cafes) after social distancing was implemented due to COVID-19. Next, this study analyzed the contents of food-related issues that spread through media news, SNS, and portals. As a result, there were more food-related posts on the homepages of other regions compared to the metropolitan areas such as Seoul and Gyeonggi, but in the case of online communities, there were more food-related issues in online communities registered in Seoul and Gyeonggi regions. Food-related keywords in regional online communities mainly contained content related to the local economy. In the media articles, SNS, and search portal issues, content that can be discussed in the consumption process of local community food-related policies, information, and products mainly appeared. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there is no specialized information sharing system for each community, that online communities can contribute to providing food information applicable to reality, and that it is possible to verify the performance of regional food policies through social media.

The purpose of this study is to test empirically the effect of Islamic business ethics and market conditions on organizational performance in state-owned construction companies in Indonesia. Data collection in this study was conducted online and the total number of data used was 81 respondents, both directors, heads of departments, and managers (general and project). This study uses a partial least squares structural equation model (PLS-SEM) with a quantitative approach that aims to test hypotheses and relationships between variables, such as Islamic business ethics, market conditions, project management, organizational culture, competitive strategy, and organizational performance. This study shows Islamic business ethics has a significant direct effect on organizational performance. Market conditions do not have a direct significant effect on organizational performance. Meanwhile, the mediating variables of project management and competitive strategy have a significant direct effect on organizational performance. Organizational culture does not have a significant influence on organizational performance. Conversely, market conditions have a significant influence through the mediating variables of project management and competitive strategy on organizational performance. Besides, this study is an attempt to determine the impact of the criteria factors affecting the measurement of the performance of construction organizations in Indonesia in terms of the external environment and organizational structure.
Purpose: Sustainable economic growth is a top priority for any country, and inflation is crucial in determining future economic circumstances. Few research exists regarding the impacts of risk management practices on performance outcomes in the supply chain with the mediating role of inflation rate. Hence, this study investigates the important role of risk management practices in the context of high inflation rate. Research design, data and methodology: The PLS-SEM model is applied to identify the effects of risk management practices on operational performance and supply chain performance. The author distributed online and offline surveys to administrators at various businesses. After applying the filtration criteria, 309 responses were retained for further data analysis. Results: This research demonstrates that risk management practice is critical and adds to supply chain performance success. Managers should enhance all risk management procedures to regulate and manage hazards in the supply chain. This allows managers to anticipate and identify potential threats with ease, particularly in high inflation rate situation. Conclusions: The outcomes of this study demonstrate how fully implemented risk management practices can improve operational performance and supply chain performance, as well as control the impact of inflation rate.
