온라인을 통한 의사소통 교과목 수업의 효과: 융합적 교육방법 적용 (Effects of Online Communication Courses: Application of Convergent Education Method)

  • 본 연구는 역할극과 집단활동을 활용한 의사소통 교과목의 온라인 수업이 간호대학생의 의사소통능력, 자기효능감 및 대인관계능력에 미치는 효과를 파악하기 위하여 실시되었다. 단일군 전후설계의 유사실험연구이며, 1학년 간호대학생을 대상으로 2020년 9월부터 12월까지 각 100분, 총 13회의 의사소통 교과목 수업을 진행하였다. 간호대학생의 의사소통능력, 자기효능감과 대인관계능력은 온라인 수업 이후에 유의하게 향상되었다. 연구결과에 따라 온라인 교육 플랫폼을 통해 간호대학생에게 다양한 교수법을 적용한 의사소통 교과목 수업의 효과성을 확인할 수 있었다.

Análisis Pragmático y Lingüístico de los Comentarios en la Prensa Digital

  • This work aims to describe pragmatic strategies and linguistic features of replies that occur in the comment section of online newspapers. The dominant media in this digital age is the Internet and its rapid development and expansion of use have contributed not only to the change of the form of production of journalistic texts, but also to the consumption of those texts. In the past, the news was transmitted in a unidirectional way but now readers of online newspapers do not remain passively reading the articles. They actively participate in the exchange of opinions with other readers. The individual consumption of journalistic texts has become a collective and social act. The purpose of the study is to investigate the communication intention of the users of comment sections and analyze the linguistic formulation of replies. We attempt to discover specific aspects of replies and responses for online newspaper articles, considering them as an independent type of Computer Mediated Communication (Internet Mediated Communication). Observing language attitudes appearing in the electronic environment and discovering the characteristics of the Spanish language on the Internet will allow us to contribute to understand the theoretical aspects related to the CMO better.

온라인 패션 쇼핑몰 챗봇의 커뮤니케이션 실패에 대한 소비자의 부정적 반응 (Consumers' Negative Responses to the Communication Failure of Chatbots in Online Fashion Shopping Malls)

  • This study aims to understand the consumers' negative responses to communication failure of chatbots caused by their imperfections. Specifically, this study examines 1) the relationship among chatbot's communication failure, dissatisfaction, negative behavior (complaint, negative word-of-mouth (nWOM), and inertia); 2) the moderating effect of technostress on the relationship between chatbot's communication failure and dissatisfaction; 3) the differences in the negative responses between the generation MZ and the previous generations. Data were collected via an online survey. First, the participants interacted with the chatbot developed for this survey, to experience the chatbot's communication failure. Thereafter, they responded to a questionnaire. PLS-SEM was conducted using the R software environment to test the hypotheses. This study empirically identified that chatbot's communication failure positively affected dissatisfaction. In addition, the customers who were more dissatisfied with the chatbot's communication failures were more likely to complain than engage in nWOM. Compared to the generation MZ, chatbot's communication failure caused a higher level of dissatisfaction in previous generations. The results suggest that online shopping malls should carefully introduce an improved chatbot service after minimizing its communication failure rate. The chatbot developers of online shopping malls targeting middle-aged and elderly consumers should strive to develop and implement strategies to further alleviate consumers' dissatisfaction in the situation of chatbot's communication failure.

소비자의 온라인 패션몰 아바타에 대한 커뮤니케이션 신뢰가 아바타에 대한 성과기대 및 재사용의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Consumers' Trust in Communication with Online Fashion Mall Avatars on Performance Expectancy and Re-use Intentions)

  • This study investigates the effect of consumers' trust in communication with online fashion mall avatars on performance expectancy and re-use intention. For the empirical study, 207 adults were surveyed using a 5-point Likert scale, and the results were analyzed with SPSS 21.0. The analysis reveals the following results. First, the factor analysis of trust in communication with the avatar, performance expectancy, and re-use intention revealed cognitive and affective trust as subfactors of the trust in communication with the avatar, while purchase choice expectations and performance expectancy were identified as subfactors of performance expectancy for the avatar. A total of five factors, including re-use intention, were recognized. Second, the trust in communication with online fashion mall avatars significantly positively affected performance expectancy for the avatar. Among the subfactors, cognitive trust was determined to have a greater influence on purchase choice expectations than affective trust. Third, the performance expectancy for the online fashion mall avatar significantly positively affected re-use intention. Notably, the subfactor performance expectancy had a greater influence than purchase choice expectations. Finally, trust in communication with online fashion mall avatars significantly positively affected re-use intention. Accordingly, the sub-factor cognitive trust had a greater influence on re-use intention than affective trust. The results of this study are academically significant in that they empirically test the influence relationship between trust in communication, performance expectancy, and re-use intention, considering the personal characteristics of online fashion mall avatars on consumers using the Meta-UTAUT model in the fashion field.

E-Satisfaction and E-Loyalty of Online Marketplace Mobile Applications: An Empirical Channel Study in Indonesia

  • Purpose: This study analyzes the effects of variables affecting e-satisfaction and e-loyalty in e-commerce. Research design, data, and methodology: A survey was conducted to 384 Indonesia online shopping mobile application users. The questionnaire construct was designed based on several independent variables, such as application attractiveness, application functionality, and customer service on e-satisfaction and e-loyalty. E-satisfaction was positioned as an intervening variable to determine the effect on e-loyalty. Results: Application attractiveness, application functionality, and customer service shown positive effect on e-satisfaction in online shopping mobile application. At the same time, e-satisfaction also affected e-loyalty significantly as referred in previous studies. However, application attractiveness, while showed positive effect on e-satisfaction, in contrary with previous study does not showed very significant effect. Conclusion: Application functionality significantly influences users satisfaction compared to application attractiveness. E-satisfaction mediates as a factor between visual design, information access, and transaction in online shopping mobile application, which stimulates user loyalty. The study findings' can be a reference for companies to create and maintain users' satisfaction and loyalty via different aspects of mobile application. Further research should be conducted on other field of study as the industry has different aspects that affects user loyalty.

조직 내 의사소통 환경과 온라인 커뮤니케이션 매체 선택간의 관계 (Relationship between Business Context and the Selection of Online Communication Media: Niche Theory Approach)

  • Diversity of available communication media has increased as the use of Internet and mobile technology increased rapidly. The traditional media tend to transform their roles and functionality. This change brings about the expansion of the span of media to be selected by users. In this study, we examined the characteristics of emerging communication media use based on Niche Theory. Online communication media in this study include Internet messenger, mobile phone, and e-mail. We also analyzed the relationship between the nature of task and the selection of communication media, that is, the effects of communication contexts(formal vs. informal, notification vs. request, superior vs. inferior) where by the communication partners are involved. The result of this study, mobile phone had the highest niche competitive superiority in all communication contexts, and internet messenger and e-mail made difference according to communication contexts. Also, we can notify internet messenger and e-mail have a mutual substitutive relationship by analysis of niche overlap.

Critical Factors Affecting Consumer Acceptance of Online Health Communication: An Application of Service Quality Models

  • The paper examines critical factors affecting consumer behavioral intentions in accepting online health communication through social networking sites. Unlike recent research under this topic, the paper assimilates some components of service quality dimensions and consumer behavior theories. The paper employs factor analysis and structural equation modelling analysis with latent variables to identify critical factors from the survey data collected from Korean consumers. The results of the study identifies three major constructs: consumer needs for health information, the perceived value of tangible attributes of health information providers, and the perceived value of intangible attributes of health information providers. The results show that consumer needs for health information and the tangible and intangible attributes of health information providers should be considered as important antecedents of accepting online health communication through social networking sites. The findings suggest that the success of online health communication via social networking sites largely depends on the tangible and intangible attributes of health information providers.

Analysis on the Effectiveness of Online Software Education for Preservice Teachers

  • Since 2019, elementary schools have been teaching software to students, so pre-service teachers should have the ability to teach software. Also, in the COVID-19 situation, pre-service teachers need the ability to teach software online. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of online software education for preservice teachers. After providing online software education to preservice teachers, we analyse the results and examines whether online software education is effective. In this study, we define 55 learning elements by analyzing the achievement standards that can evaluate the software education ability of preservice teachers. We figure out whether pre-service teachers have acquired the ability to provide online software education to elementary school students. As a result of the study, we concluded that pre-service teachers who received this online education could conduct software education online in elementary school.

웹 기반 온라인 토론을 통한 수학적 의사소통 지도에 관한 사례연구 (A Case Study on Teaching Mathematical Communication via Web-Based Online Discussion)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 시간과 공간을 초월하여 능동적 상호작용과 다양한 의사소통 활동을 구현할 수 있는 방법인 웹 기반 온라인 토론을 중학교 수학수업에 적용하여 효과를 탐색하는 것이다. 웹 기반 온라인 토론이 수학적 의사소통 지도 방법으로서 의미가 있는지를 알아보기 위하여 다음과 같은 2가지 연구 문제를 수립하였다. 첫째, 웹 기반 온라인 토론에서 학생들의 수학적 의사소통 능력에 어떠한 변화가 있는가\ulcorner 둘째, 웹 기반 온라인 토론의 경험에 대해 학생들은 어떻게 평가하는가\ulcorner 중학교 1학년 학생 34명을 대상으로 9개의 모둠을 구성하여 모둠별로 10주간 8회의 채팅을 실시하였고 온라인 토론 후 학생들이 이메일로 보낸 채팅 갈무리 내용과 웹 기반 온라인 토론의 경험에 관한 설문 조사 결과를 바탕으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 수학에 대한 웹 기반 온라인 토론은 수학적 의사소통에서 나타나는 중요한 양상인 말하기, 쓰기, 읽기, 듣기 영역에서 학생들의 의사소통 능력향상에 긍정적인 영향을 주었다. 뿐만 아니라 수학적 사고력이 향상되고 수학에 대한 태도 역시 긍정적으로 변화하였다.

The Impacts of Positive Festival Memory on Traveler's Experience Sharing: An Online Friendship Moderation Model

  • This study aims to examine 1) the influence of festival emotional and function values on travelers' positive festival memory, festival attachment, and experience sharing behavior, and (2) the moderation effect of online friendship among the path. In the present study, the proposed model was developed based on the MTS from 340 collected participants who have experienced the festival held in Guangdong Province in China. The SPSS and AMOS were used for statistical analysis. The results revealed that emotional and function festival values are positively related to the positive festival memory of travelers; positive festival memory significantly influences festival attachment and experience sharing behavior of travelers. Meanwhile, festival attachment also has a significantly positive effect on the experience-sharing behavior of travelers. Moreover, the presented differential experience sharing behavior of travelers follows the level of their online friendship. Travelers with high online friendships presented higher sharing behavior than travelers with low online friendships. Depending on the results of this study, we could provide some theoretical implications for future festival research and online communication research. These results could provide some practical implications for festival managers to develop more communication strategies.
