Recently, rapid advances of Ethernet and IP technology have brought many changes in the sound industry. In addition, due to AoIP-based audio transmission technology, various problems of the acoustic system (sound quality deterioration due to long distance transmission, complicated wiring) have improved dramatically. However, when many distributed audio systems are connected with AoIP equipment, if there is a problem in the equipment, it is impossible to operate the connected system. AoIP equipment only can transmit audio signals but cannot adjust the system for acoustic environment. In this paper, AoIP equipment is to be installed with sound equipment on a one-to-one basis, so that various existing problems can be solved and adjustment of sound quality (reverberation, echo, delay and EQ) can be possible by AoIP-based OAC (On-site Audio Center) with built-in DSP function. As a result, uncompressed real-time transmission by distributed transmission/receipt module in OAC (On-site Audio Center) and high quality sound by adjustment of sound quality with built-in DSP can be acquired. It is expected that OAC based sound system will be the industry standard in ubiquitous environment.

IP-based mobile communication system is one of the key research items in the mobile networks for a long time. But, due to some technical issues and no need of markets, it is still not full-fledged. Recently, CDMA and WCDMA service providers want to introduce IP-based network connectivity. Even though their efforts, the main network intra-structure depends on ATM or HDLC technology. This article describes a good example of commercialization of IP-based mobile communication systems. Our research is not experimental system but a in-service system - replacing the existing equipments with new IP-based systems. In this paper, we introduce IP related technologies used in our research such as IP-based ATCA(Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture) platform, HA(High Availability) redundancy, IP multicast, network redundancy techniques, multi-link bundling and IP header compression. These are already well-known to internet domain. We mix them with mobile communication systems concretely.

본 논문에서는 임베디드 시스템을 위한 VoIP 모듈을 설계하고 구현한다. 기존 데스크탑용VoIP(Voice of Internet Protocol) 모듈의 구현을 활발하지만 임베디드 시스템을 위한 VoIP 구현은 많지 않다. 구현된 VoIP 모듈은 OpenH.323 표준을 이용하여 설계되었으며 WinCE 가 탑재된 PDA상에서 구동된다. 구현된 시스템은 혼잡 제어 기법으로 TCP-friendly adaptation 알고리즘을 사용한다. 실험결과 약간의 잡음이 있지만 음성 통신은 원활히 이루어졌으며 향후 연구과제는 잡음의 최소화이다.

본 논문에서는 인터넷 기반 전송기술인 TCP/IP 네트워크의 한 분야인 AoIP(Audio over Internet Protocol)를 기반으로 한 음향전송시스템을 구현하기 위하여 최근 들어 연구하고 있는 다양한 음향전송 시스템들을 탐구하여 가장 효율적으로 구현이 가능한 전송방법을 채택하여 AoIP기반 음향전송시스템의 설계와 구현을 하였다. 구현된 시스템은 소규모의 구내 방송시스템을 비롯하여 대규모의 분산 네트워크가 필요한 다양한 프로페셔널 음향 시스템에 적용 할 수 있으며, 향후 다양한 분야에 응용하여 자동으로 음향신호를 전송하는 시스템으로의 확장 가능성을 제시하였다.

A new method to control a remote robot with PDA and wireless network is presented. The needs of remote control systems using a home network environments are increased in these days. To solve the shortage of IP address in network, authorized TCP/IP and unauthorized TCP/IP address are used. The unauthorized TCP/IP is obtained by using MAC Address in the system and Network Layer. The model in the system is similar to Sever&Client in structure. Using this system, it is very easy to combine one network device with other network system. A robot system and PDA are used to show the effectiveness of the control system in home network environments.

최근 All-IP 네트워크 환경이 구축되면서 다양한 형태의 트래픽이 송수신되고 있으며, 이와 더불어 악의적 공격이 급증하고 있어 이에 대한 능동적 대응 방안이 제시되어야 한다. 기존 연구로는 SPIE 시스템을 통해 일방향 해쉬함수와 Bloom Filter 방식을 적용한 라우터 중심 패킷 경로 추적 기법이 제시되었으나, DDoS 공격이 발생할 경우 이를 능동적으로 차단하면서 공격 근원지를 효율적으로 추적하기에는 문제점이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존 SPIE 및 Sinkhole 기반 라우터 기법의 장단점에 대한 분석을 통해 두 방식의 장점을 결합하여 All-IP 네트워크 환경에 적합한 IP 추적 방식을 설계하고 이를 구현하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 기법은 기존의 Sinkhole 방식과 유사하게 공격 패킷에 대한 수집/모니터링 기능을 제공하면서도 추적 패킷 Manager 시스템을 기반으로 공격 패킷에 대한 판단 및 수집/제어기능을 제공하여 성능 향상과 함께 DDoS 공격에 대한 능동적 대응이 가능하였다.

One of the most important factor in the performance of Korean text-to-speech system is the prediction of accentual and intonational phrase boundary. The previous method of prediction shows only the 75-85% which is not proper in the practical and commercial system. Therefore, more accurate prediction must be needed in the practical system. In this study, we propose the simple and more accurate method of the prediction of AP, IP.

최근 몇 년간, IP-TV 등 IP 기반의 방송 서비스들이 급속도로 보급되고 있다. 이러한 IP기반의 Pay-TV 서비스들은 미디어 컨텐츠를 보호하기 위한 보안 시스템을 필요로 한다. 본 논문은 IP기반의 Pay-TV 보안 시스템인 Conditional Access System을 분석하고, 현재의 Conditional Access System이 비효율적인 방식으로 그룹 키를 분배한다는 사실을 제시한다. 본 논문은 Conditional Access System의 성능을 향상시키기 위해서, 안전하고 효율적인 그룹 키 분배 프로토콜을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 프로토콜은 간단한 사칙연산 만으로 그룹 키의 분배가 가능하다. 성능 분석 결과는 본 논문에서 제안하는 프로토콜이 Conditional Access System보다 효율적이라는 것을 보여준다. 뿐만아니라, 본 논문에서 제안하는 프로토콜에서는 그룹 키를 분배하는 과정에서 서버와 단말 둘만이 공유하게 되는 비밀 값을 쉽게 획득할 수 있다. 이 비밀 값은 서버와 단말이 공유하고 있는 마스터 키를 대체할 수 있으며, 이는 마스터 키의 반복된 사용에 의해 발생되는 공격들로부터 시스템을 안전하게 보호한다.

화상회의 시스템에 대한 시장의 수요가 매우 빠르게 증가하고 있다 그러나 화상회의 및 음성회의 시스템을 구축하는 비용이 매우 높아 일부 대기업과 관공서를 중심으로 제한적으로 설치되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 IP-PBX(Private Branch Exchanger)시스템을 이용하여 음성 교환 및 음성회의 그리고 화상회의를 인터넷을 이용하여 하나의 시스템에서 할 수 있도록 한 하이브리드 IP-PBX시스템을 개발하였다. 본 시스템은 통신비용의 저감과 음성 및 화상회의를 할 수 있는 시스템 구축비용을 대폭 저감할 수 있도록 하는 하이브리드형 IP-PBX 설계하여, 그 타당성을 실험을 통하여 입증하였다.

Web-based virtual machine/manufacturing system (VMS) utilizes Virtual Device Network (VDN.) VDN inevitably involves the implementation of Distributed Monitoring and Control Networks (DMCN). In general, one needs to integrate device (control) network and IP network to realize DMCN over IP network or internet, which can be viewed as a VDN. In this study, LonWorks networking technology is used for device network and the transmission characteristics of LonWorks/IP-based VDN is investigated. A method to minimize the transmission delay in the LonWorks/IP networks is also suggested.
