A series of taxonomic works was conducted to revise genus Olethreutes in Korea. All availa - ble synonyms, collected localities and dates, flight period and known distribution ranges for the total 16 identified species including 3 newly recorded species; Olethreutes subtilana(Falko-vitsh), Olethreutes aurofasciana(Haworth), Olethreutes moderata Falkovitsh, were repersented, and genital of males or females for all known species were illustrated. Some known host plant in home or abroad were also cited.

Five species of Olethreutinae: four in Olethreutini, Olethreutes manoi (Kawabe, 1987), Olethreutes exilis Falkovitsh, 1966, Olethreutes komaii (Bae, 2005), and Proschistis marmaropa (Meyrick, 1907), and one in Grapholitini, Dichrorampha canimaculata Komai, 1979, are reported from Korea for the first time. Olethreutes komai is recorded out of Japan for the first time. The genus Proschistis is new to the Korean fauna. Proschistis can be characterized by the shapes of tegumen and juxta in the male genitalia. Brief descriptions and imaginal and genital photos are provided for the species. Distribution, host plants, and taxonomic notes when necessary are given for each species.

This survey was carried out at the Sericultural Experiment Station. Suweon to clarify the kinds of leaf rollers damaging mulberry leaves and determine the dominant species of them. The results obtained are as follow: 1. A total of seven species including 2 unrecorded species, Olethreutes hemiplaca MAYRICK. and Olethreutes doubledayana BARRET, were found as mulberry attacking leaf rollers. 2. The dominant species of mulberry leaf rollers in Korea was identified as O. hemiplaca M. followed by Adoxophyes orana B.

Eight species of Olethreutinae; Statherotmantis pictana (Kuznetsov), Olethreutes electana (Kennel), Pammene orientana Kuznetsov, P. griseana Walsingham, Epinotia pentagonana (Kennel), E. exquistiana (Christoph), Spilonota semirufana (Christoph), and Kennelia xylinana (Kennel) are reported for the first time from Korea.

Seven species of the tribe Olethreutini belonging to the family Tortricidae are reported for the first time from Korea with their brief redescriptions and illusrations: Apotomis inundana ([Denis et Schiffermuller]), Eudemopsis tokui brief redescriptions tokui Kawabe, Hedya tsushimanensis Kawabe, Hedya vixinana (Regonot), Hystrichosolus spathanum Walsingham, Olethreutes lacunana ([Denis et Schiffermuller]), and Pristerognatha penthiana (Guenee).
