액체로켓엔진 산화제로서의 과산화수소 공급계 구축에 관한 연구 (A Study of Construction of a Hydrogen Peroxide Supply System for Liquid Rocket Engine)

  • 본 연구에서는 액체로켓엔진 산화제로 과산화수소를 사용하기 위한 공급 설비 구축 및 세척 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 과산화수소를 추진제로 사용하기 위해서는 90% 이상의 고농도 과산화수소가 필요하며, 고농도 과산화수소의 공급 설비는 약간의 오염에도 민감하게 반응하는 과산화수소의 특성상 오염을 최소화해야 한다. 과산화수소 공급 설비의 오염을 최소화하기 위하여 공급 설비를 세척하고 세척된 공급 설비에 보호막을 입히는 표면안정화 절차를 확립하였다. 또한, 구축된 공급 설비는 누설 시험과 연소 시험 및 저장성 테스트를 통하여 안정성을 검증하였다.

참기름과 혼합유의 성분 및 NIR Spectrum 분석을 통한 품질특성 비교 (Comparison of Quality Characteristics of Sesame Oil and Blend Oil by Using Component Analysis and NIR Spectroscopy)

  • 참기름에 옥수수기름과 콩기름을 일정비율로 혼합하여 나타나는 품질특성을 연구하였다. 차이식별검사, 색도, 산가, 요오드가, 지방산 조성 및 NIR을 이용하여 데이터를 분석해 보았다. 색도검사 결과 혼합률이 높아짐에 따라 L, a, b 값이 변하는 것을 확인할 수 있었으나, 혼합된 기름의 종류에 따른 특이적인 변화는 확인할 수 없었다. 혼합률이 증가함에 따라 산가는 감소하였지만 혼합유 종류에 따른 차이는 확인하기 어려웠다. 하지만 요오드가의 경우 혼합률에 따른 요오드가 변화 및 혼합유 종류에 따른 요오드가 변화 정도를 확인할 수 있었다. 지방산 조성 분석 결과, 혼합률의 변화와 혼합유의 종류에 따라 linolenic acid 및 특정 지방산 값이 확연히 변하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. NIR 분석은 다른 분석방법들에 비해 빠른 시간 안에 분석이 완료되었고, 옥수수 기름의 혼합률 변화에 따른 스펙트럼에는 시료 간 차이가 확인되었으나, 콩기름 혼합유 시료에 대해서는 시료 간 차이가 뚜렷하지 않았다. 결론적으로 참기름의 품질특성을 확인해 소비자의 먹거리 신뢰도를 향상시키기 위해서는 여러 가지 분석방법을 이용한 데이터의 축적이 선행되어야 할 것으로 판단되며, 추가적인 연구를 통해 이를 활용할 수 있는 방안이 마련될 것으로 기대된다.

기계학습기법에 기반한 국제 유가 예측 모델 (Oil Price Forecasting Based on Machine Learning Techniques)

  • Oil price prediction is an important issue for the regulators of the government and the related industries. When employing the time series techniques for prediction, however, it becomes difficult and challenging since the behavior of the series of oil prices is dominated by quantitatively unexplained irregular external factors, e.g., supply- or demand-side shocks, political conflicts specific to events in the Middle East, and direct or indirect influences from other global economical indices, etc. Identifying and quantifying the relationship between oil price and those external factors may provide more relevant prediction than attempting to unclose the underlying structure of the series itself. Technically, this implies the prediction is to be based on the vectoral data on the degrees of the relationship rather than the series data. This paper proposes a novel method for time series prediction of using Semi-Supervised Learning that was originally designed only for the vector types of data. First, several time series of oil prices and other economical indices are transformed into the multiple dimensional vectors by the various types of technical indicators and the diverse combination of the indicator-specific hyper-parameters. Then, to avoid the curse of dimensionality and redundancy among the dimensions, the wellknown feature extraction techniques, PCA and NLPCA, are employed. With the extracted features, a timepointspecific similarity matrix of oil prices and other economical indices is built and finally, Semi-Supervised Learning generates one-timepoint-ahead prediction. The series of crude oil prices of West Texas Intermediate (WTI) was used to verify the proposed method, and the experiments showed promising results : 0.86 of the average AUC.

DHA가 풍부한 어유가 새끼쥐의 뇌발달과 학습능력에 미치는 영향 (Effect of DHA-Rich Fish Oil on Brain Development and Learing Ability in Rats)

  • Effect of DHA-rich fish oil on brain development and learning ability has been studied in Sprague Dawley rats. Female rats were fed experimental diets containing either corn oil fish oil at 10%(w/w) level throughout the gestation and lactation. Corn oil was added in fish oil diet to supply essential fatty acid at 2.3% of the calories. All male pups were weaned to the same diets of dams at 21-days after birth. Plasma fatty acid composition was analyzed for dams and pups at 21-days, 28-days and 22-weeks after birth. The analysis of DNA and fatty acid profile in the brain were undertaken at birth, 3, 7, 14, 21, 28 days and 22 weeks after birth and learning ability was tested at 18-20 weeks of age. Regardless of dietary fats, arachidonic acid(AA) and docosahexaenoic acid(DHA) were the principal polyunsaturated fatty acids in the brain. Rats fed CO diet showed a continouus increase of AA content in the brain from 10.9%(at birth) to maximum 15.3% level (14-days old), while the rars fed FO diet showed 78-79% of CO group throughout the period. Rats fed FO diet showed higher incorparation of DHA from 15.2% at birth to a maximum level of 18.5% at 140days, while the rats fed CO diet showed only 7.0% incorporation of DHA at birth and a maximum level of 11.1% at 21-days. Compared to CO group, FO group showed lower ratio of chol/PL and higher content of DHA in brain microsomal membrane, resulting in better membrane fluidity. Total amount of DNA per gram of brain was reached maximum level at 21 days in both groups. This would be a period of the cell proliferation during brain development. Overall, the rats fed fish oil diet showed a higher incorporation of DHA and membrane fluidity in the brain and better learning performances (p<0.05).

  • 저널 베어링은 샤프트와 베어링이 윤활유를 사이에 두고 서로 미끄러지는 유체윤활 상태에서 운동하고 있으며, 넓은 마찰 면에 하중을 분산하여 받기 때문에 큰 힘을 받을 수 있다. 저널 베어링이 유체 윤활 상태에서 원활한 동작으로 운전되기 위해서는 저널 베어링의 표면에 오일 구멍이나 오일 홈을 더하여 베어링 틈새로 충분한 윤활유가 공급되어야 한다. 이러한 급유 홈의 형상이나 크기 및 급유 위치에 따라 베어링의 성능이 달라진다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 여러 급유 조건 중 저널 베어링의 오일 홈의 형상(삼각형, 사각형, 반원형)에 따른 유량을 측정하여, 어느 형상에서 가장 많은 유량을 토출하는지 알아봄으로써, 저널 베어링을 설계하는데 최적의 성능을 나타내는 홈의 형태를 파악하고자 하였다. 온도가 낮을수록 유량이 많으며, 회전수가 높아질수록 온도의 영향이 작아지고, 삼각형의 오일 홈일 때 유량이 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다.

미세채널 내 이산화탄소의 증발 열전달 특성 및 오일의 영향에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Characteristics of Evaporation Heat Transfer and Oil Effect of $CO_2$ in Mini-channels)

  • In order to investigate $CO_2$ heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop by PAG oil concentration during $CO_2$ evaporation, the experiment on evaporation heat transfer characteristics in a mini-channels were performed. The experimental apparatus consisted of a test section, a DC power supply, a heater, a chiller, a mass flow meter, a pump and a measurement system. Experiment was conducted for various mass fluxes($300{\sim}800kg/m^{2}s$), heat fluxes($10{\sim}40kW/m^2$) saturation temperatures($-5{\sim}5^{\circ}C$), and PAG oil concentration(0, 3, 5wt%). The variation of the heat transfer coefficient was different according to the oil concentration. With the increase of the oil concentration, the evaporation heat transfer coefficient decreased and the delay of dryout by oil addition was found. Pressure drop increased with the increase of the oil concentration and heat flux, and the decrease of saturation temperature.

  • High-speed rotors set a lot of high vibration and stability problems especially when the speed of rotation is going through the first or the second critical speed. The aim of this paper is to investigate the possibility of an active control of a rigid rotor with squeeze film damper which has a good configuration of easily controlled end seal clearances and/or adjustment of a feed pressure. A theoretical method is presented and some numerical results are compared with test measurements. Both results show that the vibration or bit sizes are decreased when the end seal gap decreases with constant supply pressure, and when the supply oil pressure increases with constant seal gap. The experimental results show also a pleasing similarity on both orbit sizes and their decrement ratio compared with theoretical analysis. The possibility of an active control with the squeeze film damper was verified by adjusting the seal gap and the supply pressure.

소수력발전용 용적형수차의 성능해석과 최적설계법에 관한 연구 (Performance Analysis and Optimum Design Method of Positive Displacement Turbine for Small Hydropower)

  • There has been considerable interest recently in the topic of renewable energy. This is primarily due to concerns about environmental impacts. Moreover, fluctuating and rising oil prices, increases in demand, supply uncertainties and other factors have led to increased calls for alternative energy sources. Small hydropower, especially using water supply system, attracts high attentions because of relatively lower cost and smaller space requirements to construct the plant. Moreover. newly developed positive displacement turbine has high acceptability for the system. Therefore, the purpose of this study is focused on the examination of the performance characteristics and proposition of a optimum design method of the turbine for the improvement of the performance. The results show that newly proposed optimum design method for the turbine has high accuracy of performance prediction and good applicability for the performance improvement of the turbine.

국내 수소 수요현황 파악을 통한 원자력 수소의 공급 용량 예측 안 (Suggestion of nuclear hydrogen supply by analyzing status of domestic hydrogen demand)

  • Hydrogen is used as a chemical feedstock in several important industrial processes, including oil refineries and petro-chemical production. But, nowadays hydrogen is focused as energy carrier on the rising of problems such as exhaustion of fossil fuel and environmental pollution. Thermochemical hydrogen production by nuclear energy has potential to efficiently produce large quantities of hydrogen without producing greenhouse gases, and research of nuclear hydrogen, therefore, has been worked with goal to demonstrate commercial production in 2020. The oil refineries and petro-chemical plant are very large, centralized producers and users of industrial hydrogen, and high-potential early market for hydrogen produced by nuclear energy. Therefore, it is essential to investigate and analyze for state of domestic hydrogen market focused on industrial users. Hydrogen market of petro-chemical industry as demand site was investigated and worked for demand forecast of hydrogen in 2020. Also we suggested possible supply plans of nuclear hydrogen considered regional characteristics and then it can be provided basis for determination of optimal capacity of nuclear hydrogen plant in 2020.
