  • Computer Aided Robot Simulation & Off-Line Teaching System개발은 CIM의 중추적 역할을 담당하고 제품설계 단계에서부터 생산으로 이어지는 Top-Down적 flow를 구축했다는데 의의가 있으며, 본 적용 과정을 통해 Off-Line Syste의 문제점 및 한계를 인식하고 반드시 극복해야될 과제를 얻었다는 성과가 있었다.

  • In this paper, a new edge detection method for area images is presented based on the scan-line image segmentation technology. The existing algorithms are lack of precision in its detections due to the noise factors such as depth perception and illumination problems when processing the 3D image into a 2D image. The general process of applying the scan-line method is to extract straight line components to determine the shape of the objects. However, we implement this method to an arc curve for precise detections. the paper proved precise detections that from off line to on line.

On-line control of product uniformity for quality improvement (품질향상을 위한 제품 균일성의 On-Line 제어)

  • In off-line process optimization, process parameters are controlled such that the process is robust against changes in equipment conditions and incoming materials. The off-line methods, however, are not effective when the changes are so large that process parameters need to be adjusted. On-line control can respond to such large changes, but process uniformity has not been controlled on-line due to the difficulties in modeling. This paper is aimed at developing a new on-line control methodology where the uniformity is controlled effectively. The process variability is categorized based on the physical considerations, and the process parameters are classi- fied considering their effects on the categorized process variabilities. On-line control is performed with the properly selected process parameters so that robustness may not be degraded. The developed methodology is applied to the single wafer plasma etching processes, which resulted in both higher within-a-wafer uniformity and compens- ation of the incoming material non-uniformity.

An Accurate and Efficient Method of the Spray Paint Simulation for Robot OLP (로봇 Off-Line Programming을 위한 페인트 스프레이 시뮬레이션 방법론 개발)

  • Recently, various attempts are being done to apply off-line programming system to field of paint robot. But most commercial simulation softwares have problems that are slow simulation speed and not support various painting paramenters on simulation. This paper proposes enhanced paint simulation method for off-line programming system. For these, this method used the mathematical model of flux field from a previous research. The flux field has the flux distribution function, which reflects on the feature of paint spray. A previous research derived this flux distribution function for an integral function and calculated paint thickness function for an integral function. But if flux distribution function is defined as an integral function, it is inadequate to use for real-time simulation because a number of calculation is needed for estimation of paint thickness distribution. Therefore, we defined the flux distribution function by numerical method for reducing a mount of calculation for estimation of paint thickness. We derived the equation of paint thickness function analytically for reducing a mount of calculation from the paint distribution function defined by numerical method. In order to prove proposed paint simulation method this paper compares the simulated and measured thickness. From this comparison this paper show that paint thickness distribution is predicted precisely by proposed spray paint simulation process.

  • 산업현장에서는 회전기기의 고체절연시스템(solid insulation system)의 열화정도를 평가하기 위하여 일정 진단주기에 맞춰 Off-line 상태에서 직류시험 및 교류시험을 통하여 효과적으로 절연물에 대한 상태평가를 시행하고 있다. 직류시험으로는 절연저항, 성극지수(PI) 시험 등이 있으며 교류시험으로는 교류전류시험(${\Delta}I$), 유전정접시험(${\Delta}tan{\delta}$), 부분방전(PD)시험이 있다. 여기서 부분방전은 절연체의 국부적인 열화현상을 추정할 수 있는 중요한 파라미터로, 부분방전시험(PD test)을 통하여 고정자권선(stator winding)에 대한 절연특성을 효과적으로 진단할 수 있다. 고압 전동기는 기동정지의 빈번함과 장기간 운전에 의해 열적, 전기적, 기계적 스트레스를 받게 되고, 이로 인해 과열, 진동, 절연파괴에 이르는 문제점이 발생되어 결국 시스템의 운전정지를 초래하는 심각한 사고로 이어질 수 있다. 따라서 고압 전동기의 절연상태를 주기적으로 감시하고 사고 징후를 검출하여 시스템을 안정적으로 운영하기 위한 고압 전동기 Off-line 절연진단에 대하여 기술하고 수차발전기에 대한 절연상태진단 결과를 바탕으로 절연시스템의 신뢰성 평가 방법에 대하여 고찰하고자 한다.

  • The segmentation of characters is an important step in the automatic recognition of handwritten text. This paper proposes the segmenting method of off-line handwritten Hangul. The suggested approach is based on the structural characteristics of Hangul. The first step extracts the local features. connected component and strokes from the imput word. In the second step we identify the class of strokes. The third segmenting step specifies WRC(White Run Column) before consonant or horizontal vowel. If the segment is longer than threshold, the system estimates segmenting columns using the consonant-vowel information and column features, and then finds a cornered boundary along the strokes within the estimated segmenting columns.

  • The constrained off-line competitive deletion problem is a simple form of the set manipulation operations problem. It excludes the insertion operation from the off-line competitive deletion problem. An optimal sequential algorithm and a CREW PRAM algorithm which runs $O(log^2nloglogn)$ time using O(n/loglogn) processors were already presented in the literature. In this paper, we present a reconfigurable mesh algorithm for the constrained off-line competitive deletion problem. The proposed algorithm is executed in a constant time on an $n{\times}n$ reconfigurable mesh, and the result is $AT^2$ optimal.
