이 논문은 기존의 포트폴리오와 관련된 모형에 경기변동(business cycle)과 관련된 변수들을 포함하였을 경우 경기변동이 개인투자자들의 현금 및 주식보유를 통한 자본이득 극대화와 어떤 관련성이 있는지와 관련된 것이다. 기존 문헌들을 살펴보면, 개인투자자들은 경기호황기에는 모멘텀 투자와 소형주와 성장주 등에 포트폴리오를 분산투자하지만 경기가 침체기(recession)에 들어설 경우 수익률이 급등락하는 특성을 지니는 소형주(small cap)에 집중적인 투자를 하는 성향을 나타내고 있다. 한편 이 논문의 분석결과에 따르면, 경기안정과 금리안정정책, 물가안정 등은 서로 상충관계(trade-off)에 놓여 있음에도 불구하고 코스피수익률과 코스닥수익률에 모두 향후 영향을 미칠 것으로 판단된다. 이는 현재까지의 정책조합(policy mix)보다 더 정교하고 타이밍을 잘 포착하지 않으면 정책실패에 따른 경기와 물가불안이 동시에 나타나는 스태그 플레이션(stagflation)으로 이어질 수 있음으로 정책집행의 효율성이 어느 때보다도 중요해 질 것으로 보인다.

Basic design of a solar driven absorption cooling machine(SDACM) with a cooling capacity of 5 USRT was carried out. The SDACM is a single effect cycle driven by low temperature hot water from solar collectors. The SDACM design data were calculated by the steady state simulation program which was developed in this study The variation of COP and cooling capacity of the SDACM were investigated at different off-design conditions. Both the cooling capacity and the system COP were improved with decreasing cooling water temperature. If hot water temperature was increased, the cooling capacity was improved but the system COP was found to be decreased. The decrease of the system COP were basically caused by increased thermal loads in the system components.

A centrifugal water chiller using alternative refrigerant R134a have been developed. The prototype was designed to have refrigeration capacity of 300RT. Its compressor employs a single high-speed impeller, airfoil diffuser and collector. Newly developed enhanced tubes were installed in the evaporator and the condenser to reduce the required head for the compressor. Off-design characteristics at various conditions, performance test of the compressor and analysis of the refrigeration cycle were performed. So the probability of use in part load condition was checked and the direction for revision was suggested.

This paper proposes a parameter estimation technique of a power transformer. Based on the combined equation, it estimates separately the primary and secondary leakage inductances using the least square method from the instantaneous voltages and currents in the steady state. The performance of the proposed technique was investigated by varying the cut-off frequency of the filter and the number of samples per cycle. The estimated values are obtained based on the average value for 41 cycles.

Recently, in energy storage system, the EDLC is paid attention as a new environmentally friendly energy storage element. This capacitor has higher energy density than the electrolytic capacitor. Also, this capacitor has a lot of advantage such as no maintenance, longer life cycle and faster charge-discharge time than the battery system. But the EDLC must have a each charge-discharge controller to effectively control, an energy design method circuit to use effectively energy, and several compensation techniques to control a optimal operating. In this respect, this study suggests major parameters to effectively represent the characteristics of EDLC, the measurement methods of those parameters have been investigated with experiments, and the interpretation about the buck/boost DC/DC converter for the operation of EDLC.

Since the oil shocks of 1970s, the quality of the fuel oil for marine diesel engines has become more degarded than ever. When the poorer quality fuel is burned, carbon residues of the fuel oil cause blockage of the fuel injection valve nozzle and troubles of fuel injection system. The mis-firing of engine occurs due to the decrease of fuel quantity injected, the decrease of compression pressure in the slow speed range, the increase of fuel leaked and the high ignition temperature of degraded fuel etc. This paper is to investigate theoretically the effects of mis-firing on the crankshaft axial vibration of diesel engine. The cylinder pressure in operation is calculated by the computer aided simulation of closed cycle for a large two-stroke diesel engine and also the exciting force of axial vibration and the resonance amplitudes are calculated. And then, the condition of normal state, misfiring and one-cylinder cut-off operation are analyzed. The results of calculations show good agreements with those of the actual measurements.

In preventing the infection of Clonorchis sinensis, there is one way in which life cycle of Clonorchis sinensis is cut off by eradicating the first intermediate host viz Parafossarulus manchuoricus, with molluscicides or insecticides. This survey was carried out in order to evaluating the molluscicidal effect of several insecticides upon P. manchauricus. In this survey, diazinon, heptachlor, E.P.N., E.M., and malathion was applied as molluscidies. Those insecticides had been generaly used in farming area. The results are summarized as follows. 1) In molluscicidal effect, E.M. showed the higher molluscicidal effect than any other insecticides in all experiment parts, and the order of insecticides upon molluscicidal effect was that of E.M., E.P.N., heptachlor and malathion. 2) $LD_{50}$ values are varied according to the exposure time in insecticide solution, and the longer the exposure time is, the lower the values of $LD_{50}$ is. 3) To take the exposure time in low concentration of insecticide solution for the long time would obtain the more molluscicidal effect. 4) The mortality rate increases in proportion as the concentration of insecticides increases.
