수산·해운계 고등학교 교과의 해양환경 내용분석 (The Contents Analysis of Ocean Environment of Textbooks for Fisheries and Marine High School students)

  • The aims of this study are to analysis about the contents associated with the ocean environment compared 17 special-subject textbooks to 2 common-subject textbooks, and to make some proposals for construction of contents. The results of it are as follows; 1. Only 17 books among 36 textbooks taught by the fisheries and marine high schools are contained to some contents related with ocean environment. The contents associated with the ocean environment take possession of 90%, 62% each of total pages in the textbooks, 'ocean pollution' and 'ocean environment'. 2. Of compulsory texts, namely, 'general fisheries', 'general ocean' and 'information treatment of fisheries-marine', the former 2 books are composed of 4.5%, 36.2% each relating with ocean environment. But the last one is nothing. 3. Therefore, even a little contents of ocean environment and its conservation, it is necessary to add as the reasonable rate to the characteristics of each book in 36 special-subject textbooks. 4. And also it is shown that the common-subject textbooks,'ocean science', ' earth science I' and 'earth science II', are composed of 35.7%, 10%, 16.7% each. So we'd like to recommend that the contents of ocean pollution and environmental conservation have to add more.

  • 해양 환경 분석은 해양탐사에 필수적인 정보들을 제공한다. 그러나 해양 환경은 해류에 의한 노드의 이동과 염수에 의한 부식, 전파감쇠와 다중경로 발생, 그리고 센서 노드 설치의 어려움 등 다양한 환경변수가 존재한다. 따라서 해양 데이터 통신은 지상통신 환경과는 달리 이러한 환경적 제약 요소로 인해 해양 환경의 데이터들을 수집하는 과정이 복잡하고 힘들다. 이를 해결하기 위해 해양 환경과 유사한 경포호에서 실제 실험을 통해 수질 환경 모니터링을 위한 해양 데이터 통신망을 구축한다. 따라서 본 논문은 경포호 환경 모니터링 시스템의 구축을 통해 환경적 장애요소를 극복하고 해양 환경 모니터링을 위한 센서 노드들의 배치, 그리고 통신 환경의 효과적인 구조를 정의하는데 목적이 있다.

임해도시 실업계 고등학교 학생의 해양환경에 대한 관심과 개선방안 (Concern and Improvement of the Ocean Environment by Vocational High School Students in a Seaside City)

  • The purpose of this study is to prepare the way for the prevention and improvement of the ocean environment pollution and destruction by researching and analyzing the degree of interests in the ocean environment which the students of seaside vocational high schools have. The concerns of this study are as follows: 1. The vocational high school students in the seaside cities of Busan and Pohang have recognized that the ocean is the object of the highest potential of development and that through the degree of their recognition that they should better preserve the ocean environment prior to a high degree of local seaside development. 2. Although they have recognized that the ocean environment has a great influence on the life of people, their interests in the environment is low. Also, it is shown that they get their knowledge and information through TV. 3. They've understood that the main factor of ocean contamination concerns the home and the causes of ocean contamination are sewage and waste material from daily life. Moreover, their answers reveal that they believe that they should participate in a sanitization activity for the ocean environment voluntarily and put trash into nearby trash cans as opposed to inconsiderately throwing away trash on the beach. 4. Their answers also show that they recognize the elements that can best preserve the ocean environment start at home and with government, and school services through experience activities are the most effective for the education of the ocean environment.

Discovery of Chitin Deacetylase Inhibitors through Structure-Based Virtual Screening and Biological Assays

  • Chitin deacetylase (CDA) inhibitors were developed as novel antifungal agents because CDA participates in critical fungal physiological and metabolic processes and increases virulence in soil-borne fungal pathogens. However, few CDA inhibitors have been reported. In this study, 150 candidate CDA inhibitors were selected from the commercial Chemdiv compound library through structure-based virtual screening. The top-ranked 25 compounds were further evaluated for biological activity. The compound J075-4187 had an IC50 of 4.24 ± 0.16 µM for AnCDA. Molecular docking calculations predicted that compound J075-4187 binds to the amino acid residues, including active sites (H101, D48). Furthermore, compound J075-4187 inhibited food spoilage fungi and plant pathogenic fungi, with minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) at 260 ㎍/ml and minimum fungicidal concentration (MFC) at 520 ㎍/ml. Therefore, compound J075-4187 is a good candidate for use in developing antifungal agents for fungi control.

  • 이어도 해양과학기지에서 해수중으로 청음기를 내려 2004년 7월에 3일간 연속적으로 수중 배경소음을 녹음 하였다. 측정된 주파수스펙트럼을 통계처리하고 또한 시계열 신호의 특성을 분석하였다. 해상 풍속도 관측하였다. 전체적으로 한반도 주변 해양의 배경소음에 비해 상대적으로 소음레벨이 작은 경향을 보였다.

  • Ocean noise may be used for monitoring wind speed and rainfall rate on the sea surface, as well as for tracking whales' migration routes. In particular, low-frequency ocean noise has recently been of concern with relation to the behavior of marine mammals. Low-frequency ocean noise has been increasing over the past few decades due to increase of ship traffic and offshore oil industry activities. Mechanical noise such as flow noise and cable strumming noise may be induced if low-frequency ocean noise is measured by cabled traditional hydrophone in high current areas. To successfully measure low-frequency ocean noise in a shallow water environment with strong current, we developed a self-recording hydrophone. This paper describes the main configurations of the self-recording hydrophone and presents some results on measured data.

해양환경변화관측을 위한 GOCI CDOM 자료 분석 (The Analysis of GOCI CDOM for Observation of Ocean Environment Change)

  • Geostationary Ocean Color Imager(GOCI), the World's first spaceborne ocean color observation satellite operated in geostationary orbit, was successfully launched on May 2010. The main missions of GOCI is the coastal environment monitoring of GOCI in order to meet the necessity of long-term climate change monitoring and research. The GOCI have higher spatial resolution than MODIS, $500m{\times}500m$, and 8 spectral ocean color channels. GOCI have a capability for observation on the coastal environment change, GOCI perform the observation with 8 times a day. In this paper, we presented the more improved results for observation on the coastal environment change than MODIS ocean color sensor and detected the spatial difference of CDOM for monitoring coastal environment change.

  • 해양은 인류의 생존에 필수적인 지구 환경 및 생태계를 구성할 뿐만 아니라 인류의 번영에 필수적인 다양한 자원을 제공하고 있다. 세계 주요 해양국가들은 국내외의 해양자원안보를 강화하고 해양안전안보의 영역을 확대하고 있으며 해양안보를 위한 국제협력을 강화하고 또한 이들 업무를 추진하는 전문기관의 위상을 강화하고 있다. 우리나라도 관할해역의 확대와 더불어 산업화, 과학기술의 발달 및 사회문화의 발달에 따른 해양안보의 수요급증, 해양안보의 국제협력 증대 등 해양안보의 환경이 급변하고 있는 바, 해양안보의 집행수단 확보, 정보수집능력의 강화. 교육훈련의 강화 등 해양안보의 확보를 위한 정책의 강화가 요구된다.

Water Masses and Flow Fields of the Southern Ocean Measured by Autonomous Profiling Floats (Argo floats)

  • Using data from Argo floats collected in the Southern Ocean, we describe water mass prop erties and flow fields at intermediate levels (1000m and 2000m levels). Water mass properties from Argo floats, which are consistent with those from previous hydrographic surveys, reflect the movement of the floats well even without quality control on the Argo data. Since the flow fields from the Argo floats do not cover the entire Southern Ocean, we could not obtain a general circulation pattern, especially at the 2000m level. We, however, can confirm the general eastward tendency due to ACC largely following the topography.

  • 과거 해양자유와 개방적 자원사용 레짐은 오늘날 해양관리와 공유자원관리 레짐으로 변화하였다. 해양생물자원, 해양광물자원, 해양공간, 해로 등 해양자원은 경합성은 강하나 배제성은 약한 공유자원적 특성을 가지기 때문에 이를 방치하면 공유의 비극이 발생하며 따라서 합리적 해양관리가 필요하다. 주요한 국제 해양이슈는 해양오염 연안관리, 해수면상승, 어자원관리, 포경, 해양관할권, 심해저광물자원, 군사적 해양안보, 해적활동, 생태적 환경안보 등이 있으며, 이들에 대한 견고하고 지속적인 정책레짐이 형성되어 왔다. 이 논문은 오늘날 해양패러다임이 변화함에 따라 등장한 국제적 해양환경안전 이슈들과, 이를 해결하기 위한 정책레짐의 형성, 그리고 향후 바람직한 정책레짐 형성과제 등에 대해 국제정치학 또는 국제정책형성론적 시각에서 거시적으로 고찰하는데 그 목적이 있다.
