임신·수유부의 안전한 약물 사용에 대한 지식, 태도, 행동 및 교육 요구 분석: 설문지 기반 연구 (Analysis of Knowledge, Attitudes, Practices, and Educational Needs for Safe Medication Use in Pregnant or Breastfeeding Women: A Questionnaire-Based Study)

  • Objective: There is a growing interest in the safe use of medications in pregnant and breastfeeding women. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find ways to improve education about safe medication use by investigating the status of medication use of pregnant and breastfeeding women, and by evaluating their knowledge, attitudes, and practices toward safe medication use. Methods: In this study, a self-report questionnaire was conducted on pregnant or breastfeeding women in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province. The questionnaire consisted of the following four sections; 1) sociodemographic characteristics of participants, 2) experience of medication use, 3) experience of being educated on safe medication use, and 4) knowledge, attitudes, and practices about medication use during pregnancy/breastfeeding. Results: A total of 203 participants were included in the analysis. Of these, 38.4% reported to take prescription medications during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Regarding education on safe medication use, nearly 90% of the participants answered that they were not educated or were unsure whether they had it. In the knowledge-attitude-practice evaluation on safe medication use, the knowledge level was the highest (mean, 4.45), followed by the attitude level (mean, 3.58) and the practice level (mean, 3.33). The preferred education method of the participants was online education using a computer or mobile phone application, etc. Conclusions: This study suggests that there is a need for systematic and effective education that can link knowledge of safe medication use with attitudes and practices in pregnant and breastfeeding women.

Assessment of respondents' knowledge, attitudes, and practices toward rabies and associated risk factors in Shone Town, Southern Ethiopia

  • Importance: Rabies is a neglected tropical viral disease most often transmitted through the bite of an infected animal. Objective: This study assessed the level of knowledge, attitudes, and practices of the Shone Ttown community toward rabies. Methods: A survey-based cross-sectional study was conducted in Shone town, Ethiopia, from November 2022 to April 2023. Woreda was selected purposefully, while Kebeles and the study populations were selected by simple random sampling. Four hundred and sixteen respondents were interviewed using a semi-structured questionnaire. Results: All respondents had heard about rabies from different sources, with the majority hearing from informal sources (62%). Approximately 51.9%, 0.7%, and 47.4% of individuals were aware of saliva contact, rabid animal bites, and both as means of transmission, respectively. The survey showed that 64.4% of participants knew the 100% fatal nature of rabies once the clinical signs developed, and 35.6% did not. Approximately 51.4% of respondents agreed that killing stray dogs was an effective method for rabies prevention. In this study, 72.6% of the respondents had contact with pets, and 36.8% of the interviewees had vaccinated their dogs. Only the educational level (p = 0.03) was associated with knowledge of the transmission route. Age (p = 0.04) and educational level (p = 0.01) had a statistically significant association with knowledge of the risk of not vaccinating dogs. Conclusions and Relevance: A lack of formal education in the communities, low levels of education, and the majority of respondents acquiring their knowledge from unofficial sources are important contributors to the low levels of awareness.

  • 평가는 학생들이 배워야 하는 가장 중요한 것들을 반영해야 한다. 지금까지 학교교육에서의 대부분의 평가는 학력의 측정에 목적을 두고 실시하였으며 설령 진단평가와 형성평가를 실시하였더라도 그 평가결과를 유용하게 활용하는 경우는 드물었다. 이러한 원인은 평가결과로부터 개인별 정보를 얻을 수 있는 도구가 없었기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 그동안의 평가결과로부터 얻을 수 없었던 집단별, 개인별 정보를 끄집어 낼 수 있는 평가도구를 소개하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 학생들의 평가결과를 지식공간론을 활용하여 분석하고, 이것으로부터 개인의 향후 학습지도를 위한 이정표를 제시하였다. 지식공간론은 수학이나 과학과 같이 비교적 위계관계가 강한 학문에 매우 유용하게 이용될 수 있으며, 평가를 통해 학생들이 구성하는 지식구조를 지식의 위계라는 관점에서 정확히 분석함으로써 효과적인 물리교육을 도모할 수 있다. 특히, 처리 과정을 컴퓨터시스템을 이용하여 정확하고 빠르게 처리할 수 있음은 물론 객관적 타당도를 높이고 많은 양의 자료를 효율적으로 처리할 수 있다. 더 나아가서 개개인에 대해 실질적으로 도움을 줄 수 있는 피드백을 제시하여 학생들의 이해를 증진시킬 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 물리 성취도 평가 문항에 대하여 지식공간론을 적용하여 예비 물리교사들의 학년별 평가결과를 분석하고, 그 결과를 토대로 향후 물리교육을 위한 효율적인 교육과정 개발에 기초자료로 활용하고자 한다.

간호대학생의 환자안전에 대한 지식, 간호전문직관과 환자안전관리활동의 관련성 (The Relationship Between Knowledge of Patient Safety, Nursing Professionalism and Patient Safety Management Activities in Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The objective of this study was to identify the relationship between knowledge of patient safety, nursing professionalism and patient safety management activities of nursing students with clinical practical experience. Methods: Self-administered questionnaires survey on knowledge of patient safety, nursing professionalism, and patient safety management activities were conducted for the $3^{rd}-year$ and $3^{th}-year$ nursing students. 139 questionnaires were distributed, of which, 131 were used for data analysis. Results: The scores of nursing students' knowledge of patient safety, nursing professionalism and patient safety management activities were $6.76{\pm}1.26$, $65.11{\pm}7.97$ and $67.99{\pm}7.26$, respectively. Knowledge of patient safety differed significantly according to the grade. Nursing professionalism had a difference with major satisfaction, clinical practical satisfaction, and experience of patient safety accident. Patient safety management activities were positively correlated (p<.01) with knowledge of patient safety and nursing professionalism. Patient safety management activities increased significantly with increase in the scores of knowledge of patient safety and nursing professionals. The factors that were related to patient safety management activities of nursing students were knowledge of patient safety and nursing professionalism. Knowledge of patient safety and nursing professionalism were selected as significant variables for explaining the patient safety management activities of nursing students, of which the coefficient of determination was 9.8%. Conclusion: To promote patient safety management activities of nursing students, training programs for patient safety management activities are required. Also, there is the need to increase the knowledge of patient safety and nursing professionalism of nursing students using various educational method.

분산기억체계, 지식공유, 그리고 혁신역량의 구조적 관계에 관한 실증연구: 중국 대학 사례를 중심으로 (An Empirical Study on the Structural Relationship between Transactive Memory System, Knowledge Sharing and Innovation Capability: Evidence from Universities in China)

  • 목적 최근 대학에서도 혁신역량이 매우 중요해지고 있으며, 특히 교원의 혁신역량은 대학의 경쟁력에 매우 중요한 요인이 되고 있다. 그러나 중국 대학의 경우 아직까지 지식활용이나 관리에 대한 관심이 부족하여 대학의 혁신역량이 높지 않은 상황이다. 한편, 지식경영에서 분산기억체계와 지식공유는 매우 중요한 요소로서 이 두 요소를 잘 결합하여 실행하면 지식경영에 대한 포괄적인 이해와 성과에 기여할 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 중국 대학 교원을 대상으로 분산기억체계, 지식공유 그리고 혁신역량 간의 구조적 관계를 조사하며, 이를 통해 혁신역량을 향상시키기 위한 실천적 방안을 제안하고자 한다. 설계/방법론/접근 본 연구의 가설을 검증하기 위해 16개의 문항을 개발하였으며, 각 문항은 리커트 5점척도를 사용하였다. 설문지는 위챗을 통해 온라인으로 배포되었으며, 설문대상자는 중국 14개 대학의 교원 팀의 리더들이다. 총 201명으로부터 설문지가 회수되었으며, 이중에서 유효한 설문지는 191개이다. 통계 분석과 가설검정을 위해 SPSS 22와 AMOS 22를 사용하였다. 시사점 가설검정결과 모든 연구가설이 채택되었다. 따라서 분산기억체계는 지식공유와 혁신역량에 정(+)의 영향을 미치며, 이 과정에서 지식공유가 분산기억체계와 혁신역량 간의 매개변수 역할을 한다는 것을 알 수 있다. 이는 동일 그룹 내의 중국 대학 교원들 간에 의사소통이 원활하고 동료들과 지식의 교환 및 협업이 활발할수록 혁신역량이 효과적으로 향상됨을 의미한다.

보건복지 공무원의 에이즈에 대한 지식과 태도에 대한 연구 (Knowledge and Attitudes about HIV/AIDS among Health Care Officers in S. Korea)

  • 목적: 대상자의 에이즈에 대한 지식수준과 태도를 파악하고, 에이즈감염자에 대한 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 규명하기 위함이다. 방법: 본 연구는 G광역시내 보건복지 분야에 종사하고 있는 사회복지직과 간호직 공무원을 대상으로 편의 표집 하였다. 자료 수집은 대상자에게 연구목적을 직접 설명한 후 동의를 거쳐 구조화된 설문지에 각자 기입하도록 하였다. 수집된 총 252부의 질문지 중 불성실한 답변을 제외한 245부(사회복지직 124부, 간호직 121부)를 최종분석에 사용하였다. 자료수집은 2008년 12월부터 2009년 1월 사이에 이루어졌다. 측정도구인 에이즈 지식 및 HIV/AIDS 환자(감염인)에 대한 태도 문항은 많은 선행연구에서 인용되고 있는 Herek(2002, 2007)과 Carey & Schroder(2002), 국내 연구 중에는 질병관리본부(2007)의 조사 문항들을 토대로 구성하였다. 결과: 첫째, 대상자의 지식정도의 정답률은 85.9%로 나타났으며 사회복지직 공무원의 지식정도가 간호직보다 낮게 나타났다. 둘째, 통계적으로 유의미 하지 않지만 간호직 공무원의 태도가 사회복지직 보다 에이즈환자에 대해 긍정적 태도를 보여주었다. 셋째, 대상자의 에이즈에 대한 태도는 지식의 정도와 에이즈에 대한 교육경험 유무에 따라 하위영역별로 유의미한 차이가 나타났다. 넷째, 에이즈에 대한 대상자의 태도에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과, 대상자의 에이즈에 대한 지식이 가장 큰 영향 요인으로 나타났다. 결론: 에이즈에 대한 임상실천가이면서 정책에 영향을 미치는 사회복지직과 간호직 공무원의 에이즈에 대한 지식을 증진시키고 편견을 감소시키기 위한 실천적 교육 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

중환자실 간호사의 호흡기계 병원감염관리 인지도와 실천정도 조사연구 (Recognition, Self and Objective Evaluations of Nosocomial Respiratory Infection Control Practices by ICU Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was two-fold : to describe the level of recognition of nosocomial respiratory infections by ICU nurses and to compare self evaluation and objective evaluation of nosocomial respiratory infection control practices by ICU nurses. Method: Data were collected from 78 nurses in intensive care units in one university affiliated hospital in Kyung Ki Province. Data were collected from March 4 to March 18, 2002. The recognition and self evaluation data were collected through a self report questionnaire and an objective evaluation which was done by observing the actual behavior of the nurses. Result: The results of this study showed that there was a significant positive relationship between recognition scores and self evaluation scores. However, there was no significant relationship between level of recognition and objective evaluation, nor between self evaluation and objective evaluation of infection control Practices by ICU nurses. Conclusion: ICU nurses In this study gave higher scores on self evaluation of their practice than were shown in the observation evaluation of actual practice. Moreover, in the objective evaluation the nurses had the lowest score on the item, 'washing hands before taking care of patients'. The results indicate that it is necessary to develop a standardized practice manual on nosocomial respiratory infection control in the ICU. Also, it is necessary to have a program to transfer knowledge into actual practice.

청소년 소비자를 중심을한 소비자교육에 관한 연구 (A Study of the consumer education focusing on the Adolescent Consumer)

  • This study is mainly concerned with providing a basis for the development of adolescent consumer education. the objective of this study is to investigate the factors related to consumer knowledge, consumer role attitudes and consumer skills. The samples are composed of 1453 adolecent consumer filtered by purposive sampling. The sample includes 3 subgroups from middle and high school students. the statistics used for data analysis are t-test and ANOVA. Results are as follows; (1) Consumer knowledge differs according to the numbers of school years, region , parents' occupation , farther's education level, discretionary expenditure. (2) Consumer role attitudes differ according to consumer's number of school years, gender, region, family income , parents' occupation, father's education level, discretionary expenditure, (3) Consumer skills differ according to gender, region, family income, parents' occupation, father's education, discretionary expenditure, and consumer experience.

조작적 구성주의와 사회적 구성주의에서 구성의 의미와 과정 (The Meaning and Mechanism of the 'Construction' in the Operational Constructivism and the Social Constructivism)

  • In this study, we have investigated the meaning and mechanism of the 'construction' in the operational constructivism and the social constructivism. According to Piaget, a mathematical concept is the operational sch me, which is constructed through the reflective abstraction from a general coordination of activities and operations. The process of the reflective abstraction consists of 'reflechissement'and 'reflexion'. The reflechissement starting from 'intriorisation' concludes with 'thematisation', and the reflexion consists in the 'equilibration' of the result of reflechissement. The 'construction' in the social constructivism includes two process. One is the process from the individual, subjective knowledge of mathematics to the social, objective knowledge of mathematics, and the other is vice versa. The emphases is placed on the 'social interaction' and the 'representation' in this two processes. In this context, if we want to apply the social constructivism, we should clarify the meaning of 'society', and consider the difference between the society of mathematicians and the society of students.

Web-based Information Systems and Service Quality of IS Department

  • As growth of the web-based applications, the requirements of the users who have been very familiar to the web-based user interfaces and customer-oriented services on the Internet would become more knowledge-intensive and higher technology involved in a more convenient and polite way of service delivery. Therefore, the service quality of information system department should be considered as a very important factor influencing success of information systems. The objective of this study is to provide the relationship between service quality of IS department and its impacts such as use, user satisfaction and job performance. For this purpose, we provide a research model for it and test it empirically for the users of the corporate portal in one of main telecommunication service providers in Korea. In result, our model with satisfiable validity and reliability shows not only importance of IS departments' service quality but also two-faced characteristics of service quality. That is, while technical competence which means with knowledge and expertise of IS department staffs is more related with user satisfaction on information systems, personal service which means the way and manner of service delivery is more related with use of it.
