  • In this paper, we propose an on-line tracking method using convolutional neural network (CNN) for tracking object. It is well known that a large number of training samples are needed to train the model offline. To solve this problem, we use an untrained model and update the model by collecting training samples online directly from the test sequences. While conventional methods have been used to learn models by training samples offline, we demonstrate that a small group of samples are sufficient for online object tracking. In addition, we define a loss function containing color information, and prevent the model from being trained by wrong training samples. Experiments validate that tracking performance is equivalent to four comparative methods or outperforms them.

  • In this study, stereo vision system is applied to a mobile manipulator for effective tasks. The robot can recognize a target and compute the position of the target using a stereo vision system. While a monocular vision system needs properties such as geometric shape of a target, a stereo vision system enables the robot to find the position of a target without additional information. Many algorithms have been studied and developed for an object recognition. However, most of these approaches have a disadvantage of the complexity of computations and they are inadequate for real-time visual servoing. However, color information is useful for simple recognition in real-time visual servoing. In this paper, we refer to about object recognition using colors, stereo matching method, recovery of 3D space and the visual servoing.

  • The Intelligent Space(ISpace) provides challenging research fields for surveillance, human-computer interfacing, networked camera conferencing, industrial monitoring or service and training applications. ISpace is the space where many intelligent devices, such as computers and sensors, are distributed. According to the cooperation of many intelligent devices, the environment, it is very important that the system knows the location information to offer the useful services. In order to achieve these goals, we present a method for representing, tracking and human following by fusing distributed multiple vision systems in ISpace, with application to pedestrian tracking in a crowd. And the article presents the integration of color distributions into particle filtering. Particle filters provide a robust tracking framework under ambiguity conditions. We propose to track the moving objects by generating hypotheses not in the image plan but on the top-view reconstruction of the scene. Comparative results on real video sequences show the advantage of our method for multi-object tracking. Also, the method is applied to the intelligent environment and its performance is verified by the experiments.

  • Median filter(MF) has often been applied to color or gray images as a noise fiilter in image processing . Application of MF to binary images was tried in this study. For binary images, MF not only can remove noise but can also work as an indicator showing the dominant color in a region which is called window . Fro example, MF can be used to categorize clusters and to detect interested parts of an object. In other words, MF can also be used to remove unnecessary parts. The function of MF can be intensified by introducing a thresholding value, which is determined by the size of the interested part of an object. This improved MF for binary images is called the modified median filter(MMF), and its applicability to grade produce will be discussed in this paper.

  • Viewing zone shape and size perform a key role in creating viewing comfort for the viewer. The horizontal and vertical sizes of viewing zones, formed by a full color transmission type holographic screen with a stereoscopic image projection are investigated. The screens have been recorded as holograms of a narrow stripe shaped object with different width; to extend the vertical size of the viewing zone the holograms were exposed two times with the hologram shifting between exposures. The viewing zone parameters were measured as a function of the stripe width of the object and of the exit pupil size of projection optics for several holographic screens having the size of the 30 $\times$ 40 $\textrm{cm}^2$.

  • In this paper, we propose an object tracking system which can be convinced of moving area shaped on objects through color sequential images, decided moving directions of foot messengers or vehicles of image sequences. In static camera, we suggests a new evaluating method extracting co-occurrence matrix with feature vectors of RGB after analyzing and blocking difference images, which is accessed to field of camera view for motion. They are energy, entropy, contrast, maximum probability, inverse difference moment, and correlation of RGB color vectors. we describe how to analyze and compute corresponding relations of objects between adjacent frames. In the clustering, we apply an algorithm of FCM(fuzzy c means) to analyze matching and clustering problems of adjacent frames of the featured vectors, energy and entropy, gotten from previous phase. In the matching phase, we also propose a method to know correspondence relation that can track motion each objects by clustering with similar area, compute object centers and cluster around them in case of same objects based on membership function of motion area of adjacent frames.

  • The color of object is a main role that people recognize outdoor entity with its shape. We can perceive the object due to the existence of light such as direct sunlight. Light is classified by wavelength into radio, microwave, infrared, the visible region we perceive as light, ultraviolet, X-rays and gamma rays. White light is all of the colors of light combined within the visible light spectrum. When white light is separated through a prism, we see the visible light spectrum. The various wavelengths of visible light are separated into colors. In this paper, we construct white light as the seven colors of rainbow and suggest the method of N-way color dispersion photon mapping to simulate the natural dispersion phenomenon.

  • The use of multi-spectral cameras is essential for day and night pedestrian detection. In this paper, a color camera and a thermal imaging infrared camera were used to detect pedestrians near a crosswalk for 24 hours at an intersection with a high risk of traffic accidents. For pedestrian detection, the YOLOv5 object detector was used, and the detection performance was improved by using color images and thermal images at the same time. The proposed system showed a high performance of 0.940 mAP in the day/night multi-spectral (color and thermal image) pedestrian dataset obtained from the actual crosswalk site.
