A Personal Digital Library on a Distributed Mobile Multiagents Platform (분산 모바일 멀티에이전트 플랫폼을 이용한 사용자 기반 디지털 라이브러리 구축)

  • When digital libraries are developed by the traditional client/sever system using a single agent on the distributed environment, several problems occur. First, as the search method is one dimensional, the search results have little relationship to each other. Second, the results do not reflect the user's preference. Third, whenever a client connects to the server, users have to receive the certification. Therefore, the retrieval of documents is less efficient causing dissatisfaction with the system. I propose a new platform of mobile multiagents for a personal digital library to overcome these problems. To develop this new platform I combine the existing DECAF multiagents platform with the Voyager mobile ORB and propose a new negotiation algorithm and scheduling algorithm. Although there has been some research for a personal digital library, I believe there have been few studies on their integration and systemization. For searches of related information, the proposed platform could increase the relationship of search results by subdividing the related documents, which are classified by a supervised neural network. For the user's preference, as some modular clients are applied to a neural network, the search results are optimized. By combining a mobile and multiagents platform a new mobile, multiagents platform is developed in order to decrease a network burden. Furthermore, a new negotiation algorithm and a scheduling algorithm are activated for the effectiveness of PDS. The results of the simulation demonstrate that as the number of servers and agents are increased, the search time for PDS decreases while the degree of the user's satisfaction is four times greater than with the C/S model.

  • 최근의 컴퓨팅 환경은 이질적인 클라이언트와 서버들간의 상호 운용성을 요구하는 분산 어플리케이션을 위한 프로그래밍 파라다임을 지원하기 위한 분산 객체 컴퓨팅 환경으로 발전되고 있다. 여기에는 복잡한 네트워킹과 다양한 멀티미디어 응용 서비스를 위한 객체지향 기술들이 접목되고 있다. 이러한 분산 컴퓨팅 환경에서 처리되는 어플리케이션들의 실시간 서비스 지원을 위해 요구되는 실시간 특성과 분산 객체들의 관리의 어려움을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 실시간 객체그룹 플랫폼을 구축한다. 기존의 연구들은 실시간 CORBA를 사용하거나 또는 ORB를 수정하거나 실시간 운영체제상에 특정 CORBA 제품군을 사용하여 분산 환경의 특정 영역의 성능향상만을 도모하고 있다. 그러므로, 본 논문은 ORB의 수정 없이 표준 CORBA상에서 실시간 특성을 지원한 수 있는 실시간 객체그룹 플랫폼을 설계한다. 본 논문의 실시간 객체그룹 구조는 객체들의 관리적인 측면과 실시간 어플리케이션 서비스 지원 측면에 대한 요구사항들을 분석하여 정립한 모델이며, 구성요소들의 기능을 관리와 서비스로 분리하여 각각의 기능수행시에 발생하는 객체간의 상호작용이 다른 기능에 영향을 미치지 않도록 한다. 또한, 구축된 플랫폼은 실시간 어플리케이션 개발자에게 실시간 특성 파라미터의 표현과 처리에 대한 투명성을 부여하여 어플리케이션에 유연성과 확장성을 제공하기가 용이하도록 한다. 따라서, 본 논문은 실시간 객체그룹 플랫폼의 구성요소들에 대한 역할을 정의하고 기능을 정립하며, 각 구성요소들을 설계하고 구현하였으며, 구현되어진 실시간 객체그룹 플랫폼의 기능과 수행 성능을 검증한다.가지 유기화합물 중에서는 35.6%를 차지하였다. BTEX 각각 개별물질은 미국 환경보호청이 제시하는 일일 노출 기준량(Reference Concentration; RfC) 보다는 현저히 낮았다. 총 휘발성 유기화합물읜 농도는 실내가 실외 보다 높았다(I/O ratio 2.5). BTEX의 상대적 함량도 실내가 실외보다 높아 실내에도 발생원이 있음을 암시하고 있다. 자료 분석결과 유치원 실내의 벤젠은 실외로부터 유입되고 있었고, 톨루엔, 에틸벤젠, 크실렌은 실외뿐 아니라 실내에서도 발생하고 있었다. 정량한 8개 화합물 각각과 총 휘발성 유기화합물의 스피어만 상관계수는 벤젠을 제외하고는 모두 유의하였다. 이중 톨루엔과 크실렌은 총 휘발성 유기화합물과 좋은 상관성 (톨루엔 0.76, 크실렌, 0.87)을 나타내었다. 이 연구는 톨루엔과 크실렌이 총 휘발성 유기화합물의 좋은 지표를 사용될 있고, 톨루엔, 에틸벤젠, 크실렌 등 많은 휘발성 유기화합물의 발생원은 실외뿐 아니라 실내에도 있음을 나타내고 있다.>10)의 $[^{18}F]F_2$를 얻었다. 결론: $^{18}O(p,n)^{18}F$ 핵반응을 이용하여 친전자성 방사성동위원소 $[^{18}F]F_2$를 생산하였다. 표적 챔버는 알루미늄으로 제작하였으며 본 연구에서 연구된 $[^{18}F]F_2$가스는 친핵성 치환반응으로 방사성동위원소를 도입하기 어려운 다양한 방사성의 약품개발에 유용하게 이용될 수 있을 것이다.었으나 움직임 보정 후 영상을 이용하여 비교한 경우, 결합능 변화가 선조체 영역에서 국한되어 나타

Microstructure of Spider Booklung as Bio-indicator for Monitoring Environmental Asbestos Exposure (거미 서폐의 미세구조와 석면노출 환경의 모니터링을 위한 생물지표적 유용성 평가에 관한 연구)

  • Orb-web spiders can be considered as an effective bio-indicative animal to monitor the ecological air pollution of certain habitat since they have limited shifting ability during their life spans. In this study we revealed the fine structural characteristics of booklung in the orb-web spider Nephila clavata, and its bio-indicative significance in the monitoring environmental asbestos exposure. The high resolution scanning electron microscopy results suggest that the cuticular spikes near the atrium could be act as an effective filtering structure for dust materials. Furthermore, inner cuticular spikes which protruded across the air sacs, have the functions not only sustaining appropriate respiratory volume of each air sac but also help to enhance respiratory capacity by maximizing the gross surface area for gas exchange. Interestingly, in spite of short exposure, the asbestose fibrils were effectively captured on the surface of the atrial cuticular spikes. Furthermore, histologic damages were observed due to penetration of asbestos fibrils through air sacs and fixed on the hemolymph space. In addition, although accumulated mass of hemocytes were observed near the fibrils, there were no asbestos bodies or coagulated hemocytes were found on the surface of the fibrils, This could be mainly due to the short exposure period towards asbestos. Briefly, these results indicate the spider's booklung could be valuable tool in the detection ecological air pollutants.

Performance Comparison and Analysis between Keypoints Extraction Algorithms using Drone Images (드론 영상을 이용한 특징점 추출 알고리즘 간의 성능 비교)

  • Images taken using drones have been applied to fields that require rapid decision-making as they can quickly construct high-quality 3D spatial information for small regions. To construct spatial information based on drone images, it is necessary to determine the relationship between images by extracting keypoints between adjacent drone images and performing image matching. Therefore, in this study, three study regions photographed using a drone were selected: a region where parking lots and a lake coexisted, a downtown region with buildings, and a field region of natural terrain, and the performance of AKAZE (Accelerated-KAZE), BRISK (Binary Robust Invariant Scalable Keypoints), KAZE, ORB (Oriented FAST and Rotated BRIEF), SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform), and SURF (Speeded Up Robust Features) algorithms were analyzed. The performance of the keypoints extraction algorithms was compared with the distribution of extracted keypoints, distribution of matched points, processing time, and matching accuracy. In the region where the parking lot and lake coexist, the processing speed of the BRISK algorithm was fast, and the SURF algorithm showed excellent performance in the distribution of keypoints and matched points and matching accuracy. In the downtown region with buildings, the processing speed of the AKAZE algorithm was fast and the SURF algorithm showed excellent performance in the distribution of keypoints and matched points and matching accuracy. In the field region of natural terrain, the keypoints and matched points of the SURF algorithm were evenly distributed throughout the image taken by drone, but the AKAZE algorithm showed the highest matching accuracy and processing speed.

An Efficient Image Matching Scheme Based on Min-Max Similarity for Distorted Images (왜곡 영상을 위한 효과적인 최소-최대 유사도(Min-Max Similarity) 기반의 영상 정합 알고리즘)

  • Educational books commonly use some copyrighted images with various kinds of deformation for helping students understanding. When using several copyrighted images made by merging or editing distortion in legal, we need to pay a charge to original copyright holders for each image. In this paper, we propose an efficient matching algorithm by separating each copyrighted image with the merged and edited type including rotation, illumination change, and change of size. We use the Oriented FAST and Rotated BRIEF (ORB) method as a basic feature matching scheme. To improve the matching accuracy, we design a new MIN-MAX similarity in matching stage. With the distorted dataset, the proposed method shows up-to 97% of precision in experiments. Also, we demonstrate that the proposed similarity measure also outperforms compared to other measure which is commonly used.

RPC MODEL FOR ORTHORECTIFYING VHRS IMAGE

  • Three main important sources for establishing GIS are the orthomap in scale 1:5 000 with Ground Sampling Distance of 0,5m; DEM/DTM data with height error of ${\pm}$1,0m and topographic map in scale 1: 10 000. The new era with Very High Resolution Satellite (VHRS) images as IKONOS, QuickBird, EROS, OrbView and other ones having Ground Sampling Distance (GSD) even lower than 1m has been in potential for producing orthomap in large scale 1:5 000, to update existing maps, to compile general-purpose or thematic maps and for GIS. The accuracy of orthomap generated from VHRS image affects strongly on GIS reliability. Nevertheless, orthomap accuracy taken from VHRS image is at first dependent on chosen sensor geometrical models. This paper presents, at fist, theoretical basic of the Rational Polynomial Coefficient (RPC) model installed in the commercial ImageStation Systems, realized for orthorectifying VHRS images. The RPC model of VHRS image is a replacement camera mode that represents the indirect relation between terrain and its image acquired on the flight orbit. At the end of this paper the practical accuracies of IKONOS and QuickBird image orthorectified by RPC model on Canadian PCI Geomatica System have been presented. They are important indication for practical application of producing digital orthomaps.

Effect of Hydrogel lens and Silicone-Hydrogel lens on Corneal thickness (하이드로겔 렌즈와 실리콘-하이드로겔 렌즈가 각막 두께에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: Changes in corneal thickness after wearing hydrogel lens and silicone-hydrogel lens with different oxygen transmission rates wew syudied. Methods: Experiments were performed on 11 subjects(22 eyes). corneal thickness was measured after wearing contact lenses for 8 hours. Corneal thickness was measured using ORB Scan II(ver. 3.14) Results: In the results of the corneal thickness measurement by direction, in the case of the hydrogel-tor lens, the center thickness was $33.63{\mu}m$, the nasal was $34.29{\mu}m$, the temporal was $27.17{\mu}m$, the inferior was $27.17{\mu}m$, the superior was $18.90{\mu}m$, and change rates were 6.28%, 5.71%, 5.40%, 4.75% and 3.09%, respectively. In the results of the corneal thickness measurement by diameter, in the case of the hydrogel-tor lens, the center was $33.63{\mu}m$, the mid-peripheral was $28.19{\mu}m$, the peripheral was $24.18{\mu}m$, and change rates were 6.28%, 4.76%, and 3.79%, respectively. Conclusions: The hydrogel lenses with relatively low oxygen transmission rates resulted in a significant increase in thickness over the entire cornea compared to silicon-hydrogel lenses with high oxygen transmission rates.

Precise Point Positioning using Atomium (아토미움을 이용한 정밀절대측위)

  • The precise time, which is an essential element of the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), such as US GPS, GLONASS in Russia, Galileo in Europe, and Beidou in China, is an important foundation for various economic activities around the world. Communication systems, power grids, IoT, Cloud computing and financial networks operate based on the precise time not only for the operating principles, but also for the synchronization and operational efficiency between tasks. In this paper, we introduce the Atomium software for the first time in South Korea. Atomium was developed by ORB in Belgium to calculate the clock error(clock solution) with GNSS signal observation data based on PPP method. The observation data is provided by Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science(KRISS). The results of MJD57106 with Atomium software are presented.

  • The applications developing in distributed object computing enviroments are faced with the difficulties for managing various lots of distributed objects. Also, because the most multimedia service, like video, audio, and so forth, must be satisfied itself with real-time constraints, the users also are feeling with necessary to apply real-time mechanisms to distributed multimedia services. The goal of this paper is to solve the problems for managing distributed objects, and to be easy to develop complex applications that can provide real-time services. To do this, we designed and implemented a real-time object group platform that can be placed between applications and CORBA. This platform is extended the existing object group model[13,14] added to the scheduler and timer object components for supporting real-time concept. We designed the components for platform by using James Rumbaugh object modeling technology that consists of object, function, and dynamic model. And then we described the detailed interfaces of the components by IDL, and implemented our real-time object group's platform using OrbixMT 22 which is the IONA Technologies' ORB product. Finally, we showed the execution procedures of the schduler object of each components in a real-time object group platform.

  • 이벤트 서비스는 멀티미디어 통신, 전자상거래, 트래픽 제어시스템 등과 같은 대용량의 분산 응용 시스템에서 발생하는 이벤트의 전송을 제어하기 위한 서비스이다. 하지만 기본의 이벤트 서비스는 분산 환경의 실시간 응용 서비스를 지원하기 위해 필요한 실시간 이벤트 필터링, 우선순위, 마감시간 등과 같은 실시간 QoS 지원 기능들이 결여되어 있어 이를 지원할 수 있는 실시간 이벤트 서비스 처리 방안이 요구된다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 RTES는 기존의 ORB 구조에 이벤트 필터링, 실시간 매니저 및 QoS 저장소를 포함시킨 실시간 이벤트 서비스 미들웨어이다. 특히, RTES는 이벤트 사용자의 실시간 요구사항을 분산 실시간 응용에 반영시키기 위하여 이벤트 필터링 기능을 실시간 처리에 맞게 강화 시켜 기존의 시스템에서 지원하지 못한 사용자의 실시간 요구 사항을 지원하는데 중점을 두었다. 실시간 이벤트 필터링은 사용자로부터 원하는 실시간 요구사항과 사용자가 원하는 자신만의 이벤트 필터링 정보를 입력받아 QoS 저장소에 저장하고, 실시간 이벤트 발생 시 사용자가 입력한 정보를 반영한 필터링을 통해 이벤트를 처리하는 메커니즘으로써 사용자는 자신이 원하는 실시간 요구조건에 맞게 필터링된 이벤트 처리결과를 얻게 되어 궁극적으로 보다 높은 서비스(QoS)를 제공받게 된다. 또한 이 과정을 통해 불필요한 이벤트가 필터링 됨으로써 전체적인 네트웍 트래픽(traffic)을 감소시키는 효과를 가져온다.
