원자력발전소 가동중정비 도입 효용성 고찰 (A study of the effectiveness of Online Maintenance for Nuclear Power Plant)

  • 가동중정비(OLM : On-Line Maintenance)란 발전소 건전성 유지를 위해 운전 중에 수행하는 예방정비 활동으로 특히 안전설비에 대해 운전 중에 수행하는 예방정비 활동을 말한다. 국내 원자력발전소에서는 2009년부터 가동중정비 도입을 위한 타당성검토를 수행하였고 2010년 규제기관에서도 규제지침에 대한 연구과제를 완료하여 가동중정비 도입을 검토하였으나 후쿠시마 사고 등 원자력발전소의 대외여건 변화 등으로 도입검토가 중단된 상태이다. 하지만 원전의 안전성과 운전성을 향상시키기 위하여 근본적인 대책 수립이 요구되고 있는데 이를 위하여 필요한 가동중정비가 왜 필요한지 어떠한 효과가 있는지 등에 대하여 고찰하여 보았다.

  • Functional Equipment Group(FEG) of Nuclear Power Plant(NPP) is the bundling of multiple equipment subcomponents around a major equipment with a common system isolation characteristic or out-of-service consideration. The main purpose of FEG is to reduce out-of-service time to enhance maintenance effectiveness. KHNP(Korea hydro & Nuclear Power Co.) needs to develop these FEGs to successfully perform On-line Maintenance(OLM) which will be expected to institute in the future. Recently, there has been growing interest in OLM in KHNP. The aim of this paper is to suggest the way of FEG development and to build the FEG of MCR(Main Control Room) HVAC(Heat, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) system. The results of this study might be make good use of OLM and be helpful for equipment maintenance for MCR HVAC system.

원자력발전소에서 리스크를 고려한 작업관리 방법 (A Study on the Work Management Method Considering Risks in Nuclear Power Plants)

  • Nuclear power plants(NPPs) are consisted of power production functions and safety functions preventing leakage of radiation. Operators working in NPPs shall maintain these functions during an operation period through various activities such as improvement & modification, corrective maintenance, preventive maintenance and surveillance test. According to the performance of these work activities, there are configuration changes in NPPs systems. Its changes cause the increase of safety risks(CDF) and plant trip risks. Recently, the importance of risk management is increasing gradually in the operation process of NPPs. Therefore, this paper presents the work management methods using the various risk monitoring systems during power operation and overhaul period. Also this paper suggests the optimum application ways of risk systems for work management.
