The Moderating effects of Tenure and Achievement needs on the relationship between Job Characteristics and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (직무특성과 조직시민행동간의 관계에 대한 재직기간과 성취욕구의 조절효과에 관한 연구)

  • Organ(1988) has suggested that OCB should be considered an important component of job performance because citizenship behaviors are part of the spontaneous and innovative behaviors. Also it has been suggested that organizational characteristics may potentially explain many organizational behavior outcome variables(Hackman & Oldham, 1980). In recent years there has been a resurgence of interest in the validity of personality measures as a moderator between many variables and organizational outcome variables. This is largely due to the facts that first personality is difficult to control for promoting many organizational outcomes and next many researchers have found the moderating effects of personality(Brief & Aldag, 1975; Wanous, 1974). The purpose of this research is to test the moderating effects of tenure and growth needs on the relationships between organizational characteristics and OCB. To assess the moderating effects, the hierarchical regression procedures outlined by Cohen and Cohen(1983) were followed. On the basis of data from 698 teachers in Wonju province, results indicated that job variety has more impacts than any other independent variable on OCB like other studies. It is found that job variety and job identity have more impacts on courtesy and altruism in lower growth needs group than in higher growth needs group. Also it is resulted that job importance and autonomy have more impacts on sportsmanship in higher growth needs group than in lower growth needs group.

Dosimetric Effects of Intrafractional Organ Motion in Field-in-Field Technique for Whole-Breast Irradiation

  • Purpose: We evaluated the motion-induced dosimetric effects on the field-in-field (FIF) technique for whole-breast irradiation (WBI) using actual patient organ motion data obtained from cine electronic portal imaging device (cine EPID) images during treatment. Materials and Methods: Ten breast cancer patients who received WBI after breast-conserving surgery were selected. The static FIF (SFIF) plan involved the application of two parallel opposing tangential and boost FIFs. To obtain the amplitude of the internal organ motion during treatment, cine EPID images were acquired five times for each patient. The outside contour of the breast (OCB) and chest wall (CW) contour were tracked using in-house motion analysis software. Intrafractional organ motion was analyzed. The dynamic FIF (DFIF) reflecting intrafractional organ motion incorporated into the SFIF plan was calculated and compared with the SFIF in terms of the dose homogeneity index (DHI90/10) for the target and V20 for the ipsilateral lung. Results: The average motion amplitudes along the X and Y directions were 1.84±1.09 mm and 0.69±0.50 mm for OCB and 1.88±1.07 mm and 1.66±1.49 mm for CW, respectively. The maximum motion amplitudes along the X and Y directions were 5.53 and 2.08 mm for OCB and 5.22 and 6.79 mm for CW, respectively. Significant differences in DHI90/10 values were observed between SFIF and DFIF (0.94 vs 0.95, P<0.05) in statistical analysis. The average V20 for the lung in the DFIF was slightly higher than that of the SFIF in statistical analysis (19.21 vs 19.00, P<0.05). Conclusion: Our findings indicate that the FIF technique can form a safe and effective treatment method for WBI. Regular monitoring using cine EPID images can be effective in reducing motion-induced dosimetric errors.

Mediation Effect of Trust on Leadership Influence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (조직시민행동의 리더십 영향에 대한 신뢰의 매개효과)

  • This study is designed for the purpose to provide realistic way for the increasing of organizational citizenship behavior(OCB) through the experimental analysis regarding the mediating role of variables of trust. It also aimed to find out the effect that main subordinate variables of transformational leadership and empowerment leadership are influenced on the subordinate variables of organizational citizenship behavior. The result of study is summarized as followings. First, individual consideration of transformational leadership has a positive effect on the knowledge based trust.. It also impact of empowerment leadership has a positive effect on the knowledge based trust. On the other hand ,analysis show the knowledge based trust has a positive effect to altruism, civic virtue and sportsmanship of OCB. Second, individual consideration of transformational leadership has no effect to altruism, civic virtue and sportsmanship of OCB. The impact of empowerment leadership has a positive effect only on the civic virtue, other two hypothesis are not selected due to ineffective factors. The result, accordingly, of this study indicate that the knowledge based trust has a mediating role between leadership(transformational, empowerment leadership) and organizational citizenship behavior.

  • A navel fast-switching LCD with dual-domain bend (DDB) mode is described DDB alignment is achieved using antiparallel-rubbed cell filled with chiral-doped LC. Initial alignment is mono-domain 180-degree twist. Tilt direction is controlled by oblique electric field to be counter direction in each domain Twist-to-DDB deformation occurs continuously so that DDB mode does not require high-voltage initialization which is inevitable in Optically Compensated Bend (OCB) mode. DDB gives wide and symmetric viewing angle in contrast to mono-domain bend formed from 180-degree twist showing strong asymmetry.

  • The purpose of this research is to understand the role of safety climate in the safety management system. Based on the 121 responses from facilities got Occupational Health & Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS) 18000 certification, the results of statistic analysis show that there is significant relationship between safety climate, work attitudes and Organizational Citizenship Behaviors (OCB). The most important finding is the relationship between safety climate and organizational commitment will mediate the relationship.

  • In this paper, we report our successful implementation of Q tensor model in threedimensional finite element method (FEM) simulator. The 3D-FEM Q tensor-model-based simulation revealed that the spaly-to-bend transition occurs only at 4 V while the vector-model based FEM solver provides an erroneous transition voltage of 8 V.

  • With the business environment rapidly changing, organizational politics becomes a general and inevitable phenomenon in organizations. Employees' perception of organizational politics (POP) both has positive functions and negative functions, but many study results found it has a negative effects on employees' attitudes and behaviors. Despite the awareness of the importance in managing the negative effects of organizational politics at the workplace is increasing, research relating to employees' POP hasn't received much attention in China. With empirical analysis, the main findings come as follow: Firstly, POP has a significant positive(+) effect on turnover intention and a significant negative(-) effect on OCB. Secondly, Through the mediation of job stress, POP is indirectly and positively(+) associated with turnover intention and negatively(-) associated with OCB. Lastly, Procedural justice has a moderating effects between POP and job stress.

A Study on the effect of Empowering Leadership to Organizational Citizenship Behavior - Mediating Effect of Self-Leadership (임파워링 리더십이 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 셀프리더십의 매개효과)

  • Organizational environments are becoming increasingly complex, dynamic and interdependent. To overcome these environmental, the Organization pay attention to the Empowering Leadership. And Empowering leadership leads to OCB(Organizational Citizenship Behavior) of the organization's members. To the empirical analysis of the theoretical relationship, we was set up the research model based on the literature research method. We used total 346 questionnaires from the Manufacturing workers in Dea-gu and Kyung-buk region. The results of this study are as followings; First, Empoewering Leadership are positively related to OCBI and OCBO. Second, Self Leadership is positively related to OCBI and OCBO, and Trust is only positively related to OCBI. Third, the mediating effects of Self Leadership is a significant partial mediations effect on the relationship between Empowering Leadership and OCBI, OCBO. This result is contribute to the development of the research field leadership.
