비순환식 분화 양액재배시 배지와 양액함량에 따른 거베라 'Sunny Lemon'의 생육반응 (Growth Responses of Potted Gerbera 'Sunny Lemon' under Non-Nutrient Solution Recycling System by Media and Nutrient Contents)

  • 거베라'Sunny Lemon'의 양액재배시 양액함량 조절이 생육 및 절화특성을 알아보고자 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 입상암면과 피트모스와 펄라이트 혼합배지(2:1, v/v)에 거베라 'Sunny Lemon' 유묘를 정식한 후 약 1달 동안 온실에서 순화시킨 후 배지내 양액의 함량이 각각 80-85%, 70-75%, 60-65%로 유지되도록 TDR센서(UT-TM, Ultra-Tech., Korea)를 부착하여 지속적으로 공급되도록 하였다. 양액은 거베라 sonneveld 양액을 1/2농도로 조성하여 초장이 평균 $20{\pm}1cm$인 6월 24일 개시하였다. 영양생장에서 생식생장 전환 시점인 2개월 후 거베라의 생육을 조사한 결과, 배지종류에 따라서는 입상암면이 혼합배지보다 초장, 엽폭 및 엽수가 약 10% 더 증가되었지만 통계적으로 유의성은 없었다. 급액함량에 따라서는 2가지 배지 모두 배지내 양액 공급함량이 80-85% 때 가장 생육이 좋았으며, 생육초기보다 엽수는 약 60% 이상, 엽폭과 초장은 약 40%정도 증가되었다. 첫 개화시점, 절화 품질 및 수량은 배지내 양액 함량이 높을수록 양호하였으며, 개화시점도 배지내 양액함량이 60-65%일때 보다 약 7-10일 빠른 것으로 조사되었다. 총 급액량은 입상암면보다 혼합배지내의 양액함량을 80-85%로 유지시킬 때 더 많이 소모되었으나, 배지의 EC, pH 변화는 입상암면에서 큰 것으로 보아 1회 정식 후 3년이상 재배되는 거베라 'Sunny Lemon'의 생육, 절화 품질 및 수량은 혼합배지에서 급액함량을 80-85%로 유지하여 재배할 때 가장 우수한 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • This study was carried out to develop an environment -controlled vegetable growth system. The control objects considered were light, temperature, humidity, $CO_2$ concentration and the conditions of nutrient solution such as pH , EC and dissolved oxygen. A monitoring system was developed to measure the above environmental factors, fresh weight and $CO_2$consumption rate. The overall performance of the developed system was reasonably acceptable for vegetable growth. by the lettuce growing test, it was shown that the developed system had a good repeatability , and the growth responses could be measured satisfactorily.

  • In this paper, we propose a smart indoor garden aquaculture system using PIC. In the proposed smart indoor garden aquaculture system, the aquaphonics system circulates the nutrient solution of the aquarium, the filtrate tank, and the flowerpot. The automated control system that controls the state of the nutrient solution through the various sensors and controls the pump and valve is designed. As a result of the verification of the smart indoor garden aquaculture system proposed in this paper, it was confirmed that the environment suitable for the survival of fish and plants was maintained by monitoring water temperature, DO, pH measured in real time. The water level in aquarium and flower pot was controlled through automatic operation of the Electric vale and pump.

국내 조제유의 영양성분 규격기준 설정 방안 (Study on the Establishment of Nutrient Requirements for Infant Formular)

  • This study was conducted to evaluate the nutrition quality of the commercial infant formulas and to seek the solution to the establishment of the standard of nutrient requirements for infant formula in Korea. Nutrition informations were obtained from the labels of nineteen commercial infant formulas manufactured by 3 different companies, and the actual amounts of some nutrients were analyzed and compared to the labeled amounts. In addition, the nutrient composition of the commercial infant formulas was compared to the composition of breast milk, RDA for infants, and Codex standard for infant formula. The kind of minerals, vitamins and special components added to the commercial infant formulas were the major differences among 3 manufacturers. For some nutrients, the analyzed amounts were lower than the labeled amounts. In addition when different batches of the same kind of infant formula were analyzed, the large variations in the amounts of certain nutrients were noted. These data suggest that the nutrition labeling informations need to be validated, and nutrients added to the formulas are to be homogenized thoroughly. In order to solve these problems, therefore, like other countries, we need to establish the standard of nutrient requirements for infant formulas. Considering the available data on breast milk composition, RDA for infants and coordination with the international standard, we suggest the adoption of the Codex standard for infant formula may be the best way to manage the nutrition quality of commercial infant formulas at the present time.

젊은 한국여성에서 붉은고추의 섭취량, 캡사이신 역치, 영양소 섭취량 및 신체계측치간의 관련성 (Relationship between Red Pepper Intake, Capsaicin Threshold, Nutrient Intake, and Anthropometric Measurements in Young Korean Women)

  • The effects of the amount of red pepper intake per a day on the capsaicin threshold, nutrient intake, and anthropo-metric measurements were investigated in 100 female students of university. Three 24-hour recalls were performed to estimate usual nutrient and red pepper intake of free-living participants. The solutions containing capsaicin at concentration of 0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5ppm used for the evaluation of hot-taste detection threshold. Subjects were asked to recognize the burning sensation after tasting l0ml of each test solution in ascending order of capsaicin concentrations. Mean intake of red pepper was 4.6 g/d and the capsaicin threshold was 0.27 ppm. The detection threshold for capsaicin was correlated with the amount of pepper intake per a day. Red pepper intake was correlated with energy, protein, lipid, carbohydrate, Iron, vitamin A, vitamin B$_2$ niacin, and vitamin E intakes. However, it was not correlated with intake of calcium, vitamin B$_1$ or vitamin C. The red pepper intake was negatively correlated with fat mass and waist girth and the capsaicin threshold was also negatively correlated with pulse. In conclusion, red pepper intake was associated with nutrient intake and capsaicin threshold whereas it was negatively correlated with fat mass and waist girth.

국내 시판 이유식류의 영양성분규격 설정 방안 (Study on the Establishment of Nutrient Requirements for Commercial Supplementary Foods for Infants and Young Children)

  • This study was conducted to evaluated the nutrition quality of the commercial supplementary foods for infants and young children and to seek a solution to the establishment of standards of nutrient requirements for supplementary foods in Korea. Information on food ingredients, nutrient contents, claims about usefulness of food components and instructions for feeding preparation were obtained from the labels of 33 commercial supplementary foods manufactured by 4 different domestic companies. According to the standard of supplementary foods for infants and young children described in the Korean Food Code, the commercial supplementary foods were categorized into two different types, weaning food and baby food. All the commercial weaning foods were in powder form and mainly composed of cereals, whereas all the baby foods were mainly composed of fruits in the form of canned juice. The weaning foods contained more nutrients than the baby foods did, and the nutrient levels of the weaning foods expressed as nutrient density on energy basis were higher than the RDA for infants aged 5 to 11 months, suggesting that the commercial weaning foods provide adequate amounts of nutrients. If one followed the instructions for feeding preparation appearing on the label, however, recommended amounts of intake of the weaning foods would provide too much energy as well as nutrients. There were many differences in nutrient standards of weaning foods between the Korean Food Code and Codex international food standard. In conclusion, the establishment of standards for nutrient requirements for the supplementary foods requires significant scientific studies on what nutrients are the most inadequate in Korean infants and young children feeds and what levels of nutrients should be added to the foods in order to supplement their nutrition. In addition, it is very important to have a strong scientific basis to support our standard when discrepancies exist between our standard and the international standard. 양수분 흡수율과 양이온 비율에 의한 배추과 엽채류 수경 배양액 개발 (Development of Nutrient Solution for Hydroponics of Cruciferae Leaf Vegetables Based on Nutrient-Water Absorption Rate and the Cation Ratio)

  • 본 실험은 작물의 양』분 흡수율에 근거하여 배추과 엽채류 수경재배에 적합한 배양액을 개발하고자 수행되었다. 원예연구소 배양액(NSH액) 1배액을 기준으로 1/2배액, 1배액, 3/2배액으로 25일간 담액 수경재배 했을 때 청경채와 겨자채는 3/2배액, 케일은 1배액에서 생육이 좋았다. 작물의 양수분 흡수율을 산정하여 얻은 평균 양이온 비는 K $49.5\%$, Ca $35.8\%$, Mg $14.7\%$ 였으며, 배추과 작물에 적합한 배양액 N 14, P 3, K 6.8, Ca 4.8, Mg 2m${\cdot}L^{-1}$을 개발하였다 개발 배양액을 평가하기 위해 2003년 9월부터 2004년 10월까지 공시 작물을 4회 재배하였다. 개발 배양액에서 작물을 재배했을 때 빠른 상대생장률과 함께 생육이 $1.1\~2.5$배, 비타민 C 함량은 $1.06\~l.52$배 증가하였다. 개발 배양액에 적합한 작물로는 겨자채 'Asia curled', 'Asia redcurled' 및 'Pamagreen', 케일 'TBC', 'Portugal' 및 'Manchu collard', 잎브로콜리 'New green', 천경채, 방울다다기양배추 'Green king'와 'Red king', 홍채태, 쌈추 등으로 생육과 항산화 성분인 비타민 C함량 증가를 통해 기능성 엽채류 생산이 가능하였다.
