Unipolar pulse를 이용하여 형성된 Al6061 합금 표면의 MAO 코팅의 표면 구조에 대한 연구 (Surface Morphological Properties of Micro-arc Oxidation Coating on Al6061 Alloys using Unipolar Pulse)

  • Herein, we investigated surface morphological characteristics of anodic films on Al6061 alloy prepared by unipolar pulsed Micro-arc oxidation (MAO) in a mixed solution of $Na_2SiO_3$ + KOH. The number and size of pores as well as craters on anodic alumina surface were studied as a function of different voltages, duty cycles and applied anodic current densities. The morphological characteristics of all samples were investigated by scanning electron microscopy, conforming that the most uniform surface morphology of MAO films on Al1050 alloy was obtained at high applied current density with low duty cycle.

  • 염료감응형 태양전지의 광전극용 바인더로 화학적으로 기능기 작용을 가진 식물성 오일인 maleinized acrylated epoxidized soybean oil(MAESO)를 이용하였다. 제조된 광촉매의 특성을 고찰하기 위해 FE-SEM, EDS, XRD, XPS, 그리고 질소 흡착법(BET) 분석을 수행하였다. 식물성 오일 바인더를 이용하여 제조된 $TiO_{2}$ 입자는 P-25 광촉매와 비교하여 볼 때 비표면적과 특정한 크기를 갖는 세공의 수가 증가하였는데 이는 광촉매에 기능기가 증가하였기 때문이다. 기능기가 첨가된 $TiO_{2}$ 입자 표면에서 OH 관능기는 9.9에서 16.62%로 증가하였다.

양성자 치료에서 Moving Phantom을 이용한 Single Scan PBS와 Layered Rescanning PBS의 선량비교 (Comparison of Doses of Single Scan PBS and Layered Rescanning PBS Using Moving Phantom in Proton Therapy)

  • 목 적: 움직이는 장기에 취약한 Pencil Beam Scanning(PBS)을 보완하기 위해 고안된 Layered Rescanning PBS 기법을 Moving Phantom에 적용하여 Single Scan PBS와 선량비교를 통해 Homogeneity를 비교해 본다. 대상 및 방법: Matrix X(IBA, Belgium)와 Moving Phantom(standard imaging, USA)을 이용하였다. 가상의 tumor $10{\times}10{\times}5cm$에 AP 방향에서 200 cGy의 선량을 조사하였다. 치료계획은 single scan PBS, rescan 4, 8, 12회 총 4가지로 하였고 각 치료계획별로 3번씩 반복 측정하였다. 측정 시 Moving Phantom의 호흡주기는 한 cycle당 4초로 설정 후 S-I 방향 움직임 2 cm으로 설정하였다. 추가로 beam on time을 측정하였다. 결 과: PTV 내에서 $D_{max}$의 평균값은 single scan, 4, 8, 12회 rescan 순서로 각각 $246.47{\pm}18.8cGy$, $223.43{\pm}8.92cGy$, $222.47{\pm}7.7cGy$, $213.9{\pm}6.11cGy$ $D_{min}$의 평균값은 각각 $165.53{\pm}4.32cGy$, $173.13{\pm}11.94cGy$, $184.13{\pm}8.04cGy$, $182.67{\pm}4.38cGy$으로 $D_{mean}$ $192.77{\pm}6.98cGy$, $196.7{\pm}4.01cGy$, $198.17{\pm}4.96cGy$, $195.77{\pm}3.15cGy$으로 측정되었다. 그리고 rescan 횟수가 늘어날수록 Homogeneity Index가 1에 가까워졌으며, beam on time은 평균 2분 15초, 3분 15초, 4분 30초, 5분 37초로 rescan 횟수가 증가할수록 치료시간이 증가되었다. 측정하는 과정에서 MU가 낮은 선량 layer에서는 설정한 rescan 횟수만큼 실제로 rescan하지 못하는 문제점이 발견되었다. 결 론: 장기 움직임이 있는 종양 치료 시 Layered Rescanning PBS을 적용했을 때 single scan PBS보다 균일한 선량분포를 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 rescan 횟수가 증가할수록 균일한 선량분포를 보였다. single scan PBS와 12회 Layered rescanning 비교 시 HI 수치가 0.32 향상되었다. 추후 연구를 통하여 호흡동조 방사선치료가 불가능환자에게 적용이 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

초음파의 비선형 특성을 이용한 콘크리트 동결융해 손상 평가 (Evaluation of Freeze-Thaw Damage on Concrete Using Nonlinear Ultrasound)

  • 구조체 열화, 손상 등에 의해 발생하는 누수는 동결융해에 의한 체적 변화를 유발하는 주요 원인 중 하나이며, 콘크리트 내부의 미세균열, 표면 스케일링 등을 유발한다. 이러한 손상은 염화물 등 외기 유해물질 침투 및 확산을 가속화시킨다. 시설물 성능평가 세부지침(2020)에서 피복 콘크리트 품질과 동해환경 지표가 새롭게 제시되었으며, 피복 콘크리트 품질은 반발경도시험으로, 동해환경은 동결융해 싸이클 수로 평가한다. 본 논문에서는 빠른 동특성 기반 초음파 비선형성을 통해 동결융해에 의한 초기 미세손상을 평가하고자 하였다. 서로 다른 물-시멘트비(40%, 60%)와 공기량(1.5%, 3.0%)을 가지는 콘크리트 시험체를 제작하고, 동결융해 싸이클 수를 증가시키며 압축강도, 반발경도, 상대동 탄성계수, 초음파 비선형성을 측정하였으며, SEM을 활용하여 미세균열 발생 및 진전을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 상대동탄성계수 및 반발경도로는 확인이 어려웠던 초기 미세손상을 공진주파수 비선형성 측정을 통해 탐지할 수 있었으며, 콘크리트의 동결융해 저항성능을 예측할 수 있다는 가능성을 확인하였다.

Tegumental ultrastructures of Echinoparyphium recurvatum according to developmental stages

  • The present study was performed to observe tegumental ultrastructure of Echinoparyphium recurvatum according to developmental stages. Worms (1, 3, 5 and 15-day old) were recovered from chicks experimentally infected with metacercariae from radix auricularia coreana. One-day old worms were elongated and ventrally concave, and covered with peg-like tegumental spines except the adjacent areas of the head crown and excretory pore. Type I sensory papillae were distributed on the lip of the oral sucker, and grouped ciliated papillae were around the oral sucker. Peg-like tegumental spines were densely distributed on the anterior surface of the ventral sucker level. The ventral sucker had an aspinous tegument and no sensory papillae. Tegumental spines on the posterior surface of the ventral sucker level were sparsely distributed and disappeared posteriorly. In 3 and 5-day old worms, the tegument around the oral sucker was aspinose and wrinkled concentrically. The ventral sucker had a wrinkled tegument and many bulbous papillae. Type I sensory papillae were distributed between the bulbous papillae. Tegumental spines were spade-shaped with a terminal tip. A total of 45 collar spines including 4 end group ones on both ventral corners was alternately arranged in 2 rows. The 15-day old worms were very stout and their tegumental spines were tongue-shaped without a terminal tip, From the above results, it is confirmed that the surface ultrastructure of E. recurvatum was generally similar to that of other echinostomatid flukes. However, some features, i.e., morphological change of tegumental spines and appearence of sensory papillae on the ventral sucker according to development, and number, shape and arrangement of collar spines, were characteristic, which may be of taxonomic and bioecological significance.

항암화학요법과 통합의학치료를 병행하여 부분 관해 된 간전이 동반 말기 췌장암 1례 (A Case Report of Partial Remission of End-stage Pancreatic Cancer Patient with Liver Metastasis Treated with Chemotherapy and Integrated Medicine Therapy)

  • Objectives: This study reports on the effect of Integrative Medicine Therapy (IMT) on a patient with pancreatic cancer with liver metastasis. Methods: One pancreatic cancer with liver metastasis patient was treated using IMT in conjunction with Gemcitabine/Abraxane since September 2019. The cycle was repeated every four weeks for a total of 11 times. At the same time, the patient was treated with IMT. Tumor size was measured by scanning with Computed Tomography (CT). Adverse events were evaluated using the National Cancer Institute Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events (NCI-CTCAE), version 5.0. Results: After treatment with Gemcitabine/Abraxane and IMT for eight months, the size of the body and tail of the cancer tumor and several hepatic metastatic regions decreased (partial response, [PR]), size, and number of multiple nodules in both lungs decreased. No evidence of newly developed metastatic lesions was found. The patient has maintained a good treatment outcome and has shown prolonged overall survival. Conclusions: This case demonstrates that treatment with IMT may have substantial benefits for patients with end-stage pancreatic cancer.

가솔린, LPG, 디젤 차량에서 윤활유에 따른 배출가스 및 입자상물질 (Exhaust Gas Emission and Particulate Matter (PM) from Gasoline, LPG and Diesel Vehicle Using Different Engine Oil)

  • This study effect of engine oils on regulated fuel economy and emissions including particulate matter (PM) to provide basic data for management of engine oil in vehicles. Three engine oils (Group III base oil, Group III genuine oil with additive package and synthetic oil with poly alpha olefins (PAOs)) were used in one gasoline, one LPG(liquefied petroleum gas) and two diesel vehicles. In the case of diesel vehicles, one is a diesel vehicle without DPF (diesel particulate filter) other is a diesel vehicle with DPF. In this study, the US EPA emission test cycle FTP-75, representing city driving, was used. HORIBA, PIERBURG, and AVL gas analyzers were used to measure the fuel economy and regulated emissions such as CO, NOx, and THC. The number of PM was measured using a PPS (pegasor particle sensor). And, the shape of PMs was analyzed by SEM (scanning electron microscope). The effects of oil type on fuel economy, exhaust gas, and PM were not significant because engine oil consumption by evaporation and combustion in the cylinder is very tiny. Fuel and vehicle type were dominant factors in fuel economy and emissions. HC emission from gasoline vehicles was higher than that from other vehicles and NOx emission from diesel vehicles was higher than that from other vehicles. The number of PM was not affected by the engine oil, but by the driving pattern and fuel. The shapes of the PM, sampled from each vehicle using any test engine oil, were similar.

선박용 알루미늄 합금재의 부식피로균열 진전특성과 그 억제에 관한 연구 (Corrosion Fatigue Cracking Propagation Characteristics and its Protection for the AL-Alloys of Shipbuilding)

  • Recently, with the tendency of more lightening, high-strength and high-speed in the marine industries such as marine structures, ships and chemical plants, the use of the aluminium Alloy is rapidly enlarge and there occurs much interest in the study of corrosion fatigue crack characteristics. In this paper, the initiation of surface crack and the propagation characteristics on the base metal and weld zone of 5086-H116 Aluminium Alloy Plate which is one of the Al-Mg serious alloy(A5000serious) used most when building the special vessels, were investigated by the plane bending corrosion fatigue under the environments of marine, air and applying cathodic protection. The effects of various specific resistances on the initiation, propagation behavior of corrosion fatigue crack and corrosion fatigue life in the base metal and heat affected zone were examined and its corrosion sensitivity was quantitatively obtained. The effects of corrosion on the crack depth in relation to the uniform surface crack length were also investigated. Also, the structural, mechanical and electro-chemical characteristics of the metal at the weld zone were inspected to verify the reasons of crack propagation behavior in the corrosion fatigue fracture. In addition, the effect of cathodic protection in the fracture surface of weld zone was examined fractographically by Scanning Electron Microscope(S.E.M.). The main results obtained are as follows; (1) The initial corrosion fatigue crack sensitibity under specific resistance of 25Ω.cm% show 2.22 in the base metal and 19.6 in the HEZ, and the sensitivity decreases as specific resistance increases (2) By removing reinforcement of weldment, the initiation and propagation of corrosion crack in the HAZ are delayed, and corrosion fatigue life increases. (3) As specific resistance decreases, the sensitivity difference of corrosion fatigue life in the base metal and HAZ is more susceptible than that of intial corrosion fatigue crack. (4) Experimental constant, m(Paris' rule) in the marine environment is in the range of about 3.69 to 4.26, and as specific resistance increases, thje magnitude of experimental constant, also increases and the effect by corrosion decreases. (5) Comparing surface crack length with crack depth, the crack depth toward the thickness of specimen in air is more deeply propagated than that in corrosion environment. (6) The propagation particulars of corrosion fatigue crack for HAZ under initial stress intensity factor range of $\Delta$k sub(li) =27.2kgf.mm super(-3/2) and stress ratio of R=0 shows the retardative phenomenon of crack propagation by the plastic deformation at crack tip. (7) Number of stress cycles to corrosion fatigue crack initiation of the base metal and the welding heat affected zone are delayed by the cathodic protection under the natural sea water. The cathodic protection effect for corrosion fatigue crack initiation is eminent when the protection potential is -1100 mV(SCE). (8) When the protection potential E=-1100 mV(SCE), the corrosion fatigue crack propagation of welding heat affected zone is more rapid than that of the case without protection, because of the microfissure caused by welding heat cycle.

열소결로 제작된 유연기판 인쇄회로의 전기적 거동 (Electrical Behavior of the Circuit Screen-printed on Polyimide Substrate with Infrared Radiation Sintering Energy Source)

  • 열 소결 공정 중 소결 온도와 시간을 다르게 하여 제작된 은 인쇄회로의 전기적 거동과 유연성을 분석하였다. 은 인쇄회로의 비저항값과 고주파 전송 특성을 4-포인트 프로브 및 네트워크 분석기를 사용하여 각각 측정하였다. 비저항값은 DC 전류가 회로에 흐를 때의 전기 저항을, 고주파 전송 특성은 은 회로의 신호 전송 특성을 의미한다. 은 인쇄회로의 유연성은 IPC 슬라이딩 테스트 중 발생하는 회로 저항의 변화를 실시간으로 측정하여 평가하였다. 은 인쇄회로의 파괴 모드는 주사전자 현미경과 광학 현미경을 통해 관측하였다. 폴리이미드 기판 위에 인쇄된 은 회로의 비저항값은 소결 온도와 소결 시간이 증가함에 따라 급격하게 감소하였다. $250^{\circ}C$에서 45분간 열 소결된 은 인쇄회로의 비저항값이 가장 낮았으며 그 때의 값은 $3.8{\mu}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$였다. 은 인쇄회로에서 발생한 균열은 슬라이딩 테스트 10만번 이후의 길이가 2.5만번 테스트 후의 균열보다 열 배는 더 길게 측정되었다. 측정된 전송계수와 반사계수는 전산모사 결과와 그 경향이 거의 일치하였으며 슬라이딩 테스트가 진행될수록 은 회로의 전송손실은 증가하였다.

광산에서의 ICT 장비 활용 및 안전시스템 운용 사례 연구 (Study on the ICT Device Safety System Application Examples in Mines)

  • 2000년대 이후 자원개발 분야에서는 안전성, 친환경 및 저비용 등의 이유로 ICT 기술을 적용한 사례들이 증가되고 있다. 국내에서도 제 2차 광업기본계획에서 광업 전주기와 ICT 융합에 대한 중요성을 명시하고, 제 3차 광업기본계획에서는 국내에 ICT 광산장비 보급 지원 및 스마트마이닝 시범 도입 등 ICT와 스마트 마이닝에 대해 강조하고 있다. 본 연구는 (주)고려시멘트 장성 광업소에서의 ICT 장비의 활용과 안전시스템 운용에 대해 설명하였다. 장성 광업소에서는 측량과 3D 스캐닝이 가능한 멀티스테이션과 핸드형 3D 스캐닝 등 두 종류의 3D 장비를 혼용하여 갱도의 3D 측량을 실시하고 있다. 3D 측량을 통해서 각 편별 위험 개소 및 특이사항을 파악하고, 편과 편 사이의 크라운 필라에 대한 안정성을 분석하였다. 또한, 실시간 위치추적 및 통신시스템을 구축하여 갱내 사고에 대한 구조방안 및 대피계획을 수립하고 있다.
