The olfactory anatomy and histology of Lethenteron reissneri were researched using a stereo microscope, a light microscope, and a scanning electron microscope. As in other lampreys, it shows same characters as follows: i) a single olfactory organ, ii) a single tubular nostril, iii) a single olfactory chamber with gourd-like form, iv) a nasal valve, v) a nasopharyngeal pouch, vi) a sensory epithelium (SE) of continuous distribution, vii) a supporting cells with numerous long cilia, viii) an accessory olfactory organ. However, the description of a pseudostratified columnar layer in the SE and Non SE is a first record, not reported in sea lamprey Petromyzon marinus. In particular, both 19 to 20 lamellae in number and olfactory receptor neuron's quarter ciliary length of the knob diameter differ from those of P. marinus. From these results, it might be considered that the olfactory organ of L. reissneri shows well adaptive structure of a primitive fish to slow flowing water with gravel, pebbles, and sand and a hiding habit into sand bottom at daytime. The lamellar number and neuron's ciliary length may be a meaningful taxonomic character for the class Petromyzonida.

A wireless passive sensor network is a network which, by letting separate RF sources supply energy to sensor nodes, is able to live an eternal life without batteries. Against expectations about an eternal life, however, a wireless passive sensor network still has many problems; scarcity of energy, non-simultaneity of energy reception and data transmission and inefficiency in resource allocation. In this paper, we focus on a wireless passive sensor network providing a packet service which is tolerable to packet losses but requires timely delivery of packets. Perceiving the practical constraints, we then consider a contending-type MAC scheme, rooted in framed and slotted ALOHA, for supporting many sensor nodes to deliver packets to a sink node. Next, we investigate the network-wide throughput achieved by the MAC scheme when the packets transmitted by geographically scattered sensor nodes experience path losses hence capture phenomena. Especially, we derive an exact formula of network-wide throughput in a closed form when 2 sensor nodes reside in the network. By controlling design parameters, we finally optimize the contending-type MAC scheme as to attain the maximum network-wide throughput.
The purpose of this study was to assess the use of food materials at elementary school in Busan area and provide school meal management with basic data to improvement of guideline. A survey was done by e-mail with a set of questionnaires, which was responeded by 122 dietitians in elementary school foodservice. The results were as follows; Sixty percent of the dietitians though to the general imported food materials had to use. Regarding mean score of using the imported food materials; safety was 2.12/5.00, freshness 2.48/5.00, sanitation 2.68/5.00, nutrition 2.73/5.00, preference 2.93/5.00, external form 3.09/5.00, package 3.12/5.00, and price 3.63/5.00. Thirty seven percent of the dietitians had purchase the pro-environment farm products(PEFPs) and 32.0% of them purchased those products for the students' health. But 52.4% could not purchase to the PEFPs because of expensive price. They had negative opinions about deficient supplying of PEFPs 4.51/5.00, too expensive price 4.34/5.00, and the truth or false in source of PEFPs 3.96/5.00. Most of them perceived that using the PEFPs had to apply the step by step. Among of them, 33.9% had the knowledge of PEFPs, but 16.4 of them did not know to the PEPPs. 57.4% of them hoped to purchase the food materials through a center of supporting school meal servcie(it called non-profit-making organizations).

Since most of yacht sails are made of thin fabric, they form cambered sail shape that can efficiently generate lift power by aerodynamic interaction and by external force delivered from supporting structures such as mast and boom. When the incident flow and external force alter in terms of volume or condition, the shape of sail also change. This deformation in shape has impact on the peripheral flow and aerodynamic interaction of the sail, and thus it is related to the deformation of the sail in shape again. Therefore, the precise optimization of aerodynamic performance of sail requires fluid-structure interaction (FSI) analysis. In this study, the simplified sail without camber was under experiment for one-way FSI that uses the result of flow analysis to the structural analysis as load condition in an attempt to fluid-structure interaction phenomenon. To confirm the validity of the analytical methods and the reliability of numerical computation, the difference in deformation by the number of finite element was compared. This study reproduced the boundary conditions that sail could have by rigs such as mast and boom and looked into the deformation of sail. Sail has non-linear deformation such as wrinkles because it is made of a thin fabric material. Thus non-linear structural analysis was conducted and the results were compared with those of analysis on elastic material.
The basic principles in the design of Class II amalgam cavity preparations have been modified but not changed in essence over the last 90 years. The early essential principle was "extension for prevention". Most of the modifications have served to reduce the extent of preparation and, thus, increase the conservation of sound tooth structure. A more recent concept relating to conservative Class II cavity preparations involves elimination of occlusal preparation if no carious lesion exists in this area. To evaluate the ideal ClassII cavity preparation design, if carious lesion exists only in the interproximal area, three cavity design conditions were studied: Rodda's conventional cavity, simple proximal box cavity and proximal box cavity with retention grooves. In this study, MO amalgam cavity was prepared on maxillary first premolar. Three dimensional finite element models were made by serial photographic method. Linear, eight and six-nodal, isoparametric brick elements were used for the three dimensional finite element model. The periodontal ligament and alveolar bone surrounding the tooth were excluded in these models. Three types model(B option, Gap option and R option model) were developed. B option model was assumed perfect bonding between the restoration and cavty wall. Gap option model(Gap distance: $2{\mu}m$) was assumed the possibility of play at the interface simulated the lack of real bonding between the amalgam and cavity wall (enamel and dentin). R option model was assumed non-connection between the restoration and cavty wall. A load of 500N was applied vertically at the first node from the lingual slope of the buccal cusp tip. This study analysed the displacement, 1 and 2 direction normal stress and strain with FEM software ABAQUS Version 5.2 and hardware IRIS 4D/310 VGX Work-station. The results were as followed. 1. Rodda's cavity form model showed greater amount of displacement with other two models. 2. The stress and strain were increased on the distal marginal ridge and buccopulpal line angle in Rodda's cavity form model. 3. The stress and strain were increased on the central groove and a part of distal marginal ridge in simple proximal box model and proximal box model with retention grooves. 4. With Gap option, Rodda's cavity form model showed the greatest amount of the stress on distal marginal ridge followed by proximal box model with retention grooves and simple proximal box model in descending order. 5. With Gap option, simple proximal box model showed greater amount of stress on the central groove with proximal box model with retention grooves. 6. Retention grooves in the proximal box played the role of supporting the restorations opposing to loads.
Distal extension partial dentures are supported by both the relatively rigid teeth and the resilient mucosa. So impression techniques of residual alveolar ridge in case of distal extension partial denture have particular importance in order to broad distribution of the masticatory force. McLean recognized the need for recording the tissues supporting distal extension partial denture base in functional form to equalize the resilient and non-resilient support, and this was called functional impression. Many investigators proposed various techniques of the functional impression for a distal extension partial denture, but only a little studies were performed about displacement of soft tissue under distal extension partial denture base. The purpose of this study is to investigate the amount of vertical displacement of the soft tissue under distal extension partial denture base by different functional impression techniques. Impression techniques used were Z.O.P. Impression, Selective Tissue Placement Impression, Functional Relining Impression. Measurement of the vertical displacement of soft tissue were made with Depth Gauge and Measuring Platform. A Anatomic Impression was used as a control. The results were tested statistically using 3 way ANOVA and Scheffe test. The followings were the results obtained from this study. 1. The greatest amount of soft tissue displacement was observed in the center of the retromolar pad. 2. No significant differences were found between the crest of alveolar ridge and the buccal shelf area. 3. The greatest soft tissue displacement was observed in Functional Relining Impression using Iowa wax, and the least displacement was observed in Selective Tissue Placement Impression using murcaptan rubber base. 4. No significant differences were found between finger pressure and biting pressure in Z.O.P. Impression, but greater displacement was observed by biting pressure than finger pressure in Functional Reling Impression.

Consumers are prone to engage in browsing because they are, for a variety of reasons, open to spending opportunities that grab their attentions. In-store browsing is the in-store examination of a retailer's merchandise for recreational or/and informational purposes without an immediate intent to buy. Browsers made more unplanned purchases than non-browsers in a regional mall setting. As a form of on-going search, in-store browsing is a central component in the impulse buying process. The purposes of this study were 1) to examine the causal relationships among fashion involvement, hedonic consumption, browsing and impulse buying behavior, and 2) to investigate the mediating effects of browsing on impulse buying behavior for fashion products. A questionnaire was developed from a literature review and measured on a 7-point rating scale. Data were obtained from 413 students attending universities in Busan. The self-administered questionnaire was given during a scheduled class. Using structural equation modeling, the results indicate that the proposed model of this study is appropriate to explain the mediating effects of browsing on impulse buying behavior for fashion products. The model shows that fashion involvement and hedonic consumption are important as antecedents of browsing in fashion stores, and consumers browsing longer in fashion stores would tend to increase the likelihood of experiencing impulse buying behavior. That is, browsing in store plays an important mediating role in triggering impulse buying behavior for fashion products. The results from this study provide some insights into retail marketing theory supporting the trait and behavioral aspects of impulse buying. Future research and managerial implications are addressed.
High Altitude and Long Endurance (HALE) aircraft are capable of providing intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities over vast geographic areas when equipped with advanced sensor packages. As their use becomes more widespread, the demand for additional range, endurance and payload capability will increase and designers are exploring non-conventional configurations to meet the increasing demands. One such configuration is the joined-wing concept. A joined-wing aircraft is one that typically connects a front and aft wings in a diamond shaped planform. One such example is the Boeing SensorCraft configuration. While the joined-wing configuration offers potential benefits regarding aerodynamic efficiency, structural weight, and sensing capabilities, structural design requires careful consideration of elastic buckling resulting from the aft wing supporting, in compression, part of the forward wing structural loading. It has been shown already that this is a nonlinear phenomenon, involving geometric nonlinearities and follower forces that tend to flatten the entire configuration, leading to structural overload due to the loss of the aft wing's ability to support the forward wing load. Severe gusts are likely to be the critical design condition, with flight control system interaction in the form of Gust Load Alleviation (GLA) playing a key role in minimizing the structural loads. The University of Victoria Center for Aerospace Research (UVic-CfAR) has built a 3-meter span scaled and flexible wing UAV based on the Boeing SensorCraft design. The goal is to validate the nonlinear structural behavior in flight. The main objective of this research work is to perform Ground Vibration Tests (GVT) to characterize the dynamic properties of the scaled flight vehicle. Results from the experimental tests are used to characterize the modal dynamics of the aircraft, and to validate the numerical models. The GVT results are an important step towards a safe flight test program.

Thus, the relevant practical study regarding to implementation of various kinds of legal disputes and applicable laws that can be properly applied in time charter and the field of sale & purchase needs to be conducted actively. Therefore, the concept of this study has included the wide comparisons of other special provisions with the existing time-charter by making its base on "Supply Time 2005" which is the worldwide standard form of time charter in offshore support vessel market and its investigation, aiming to provide practical guidance and procedure for implementation of arbitration and applicable law issues which can be applied in legal disputes between parties.
This paper reflects the estimation of using the EOC(Electro-optical Camera) images supporting GIUH(geomorphological instantaneous unit hydrograph) approach. We have analyzed GIUH in its density and frequency distribution by creating a DEM(digital elevation model) for the sub basin produced from the EOC images and examined topographical and hydrological application possibility of the EOC images. In this process, we have topographical basin characteristic analysis that use the remote sensing technique analyzing the DEM creation process of the EOC stereo images by studying the basic topographical hydrology analysis about abstraction technique since it is flirty complex and is more time-consuming than other method. we executed statistical analysis of a basin size and river length using the frequency function after divided lattice spacing applied have to the sub river basin from the image data and the digital map into 10m intervals ranging from 10m to 100m. After comparing and examining the peak and time to peak of the GIUH, we proceeded with a comparative analysis by lattice concerning the topographical divergence rate, area ratio, length ratio. Accumulating the peak and time to peak of the GIUH is altered to non-linear form in accordance to lattice dimension as well as basin factor. It was proved that the lattice dimension is one of the important factors about the peak and time to peak of the GIUH.
