Firms prefer in some specific conditions cooperative R&D to non-cooperative for developing technology. Previous studies on the conditions show firms want to choose cost-sharing type of cooperative R&D (the CS-RJV) rather than non-cooperative one when target technology is either 'relatively easy' or 'relatively difficult', and to join multiple-research or pararell-research type of cooperation (the PR-PJV) than to compete each other if technology is only 'relatively easy'. However, by introducing technological leakage as well as difficulty of technology. it is shown that this seemingly contrasted phenomenon almost disappears ; the PR-RJV can be also preferred by firms even is case of 'relatively difficult' technology only if there exists some extent of a technological leakage.
As commercial use of genetic resources increases in modern society, calls for fair and equitable sharing of the benefits thereof have become increasingly prominent, particularly from developing countries. As a result, negotiations have been ongoing for the "International Regime on Access and Benefit Sharing (ABS)" for genetic resources as a successor to the non-binding Bonn Guideline. 2010 has been set as the target date for the Agreement. As South Korea is more likely to be a user country of genetic resources, it will be necessary for it to take part in the negotiating process and contribute to creating the International Regime on ABS, to ensure both appropriate access to genetic resources and fair and equitable sharing of the benefits arising there from. To develop appropriate response strategies for South Korea, it is critical not only to closely examine the negotiations within the framework of the CBD but also to engage in discussions within thescope of related international organizations and domestic legislation. To achieve this goal, it is imperative for South Korea to form a comprehensive Government Response System, composed of relevant governmental bodies including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and the Ministry of Environment, etc.
This study aims to examine the moderating effect of Extended Song Sharing for helping alcoholics to deal with stress. ESS is structure with non-verbal techniques approaches traditional Song Sharing technique. For this study, 64 alcoholics hospitalized were experimental (n=33) and control groups (n=31). The group was asked to participate in 12 ESS programs twice a week, every 45 minutes for six weeks. During this period, all those who belonged to the experimental and control groups were required to continue to participate in treatment programs prescribed by hospitals. Result: ESS interventional effects on subjects were evaluated using a stress response scale. As a result of the experiment, the WCC score of the experimental group increased 7.3% (p=0.000) but there was almost no change in the control group (1.5% increase, p=0.019). Effects of WCC types were higher in the experimental group, followed by 13.67% (p=0.006) in coping with wishful thinking, 9.66% (p=0.000) in the pursuit of social support, 6.35% (p=0.000) in dealing with problems, and 4% (p=0.000) in coping with emotions. ESS activities have been confirmed to improve the way alcoholics cope with stress.

This study was to prepare a development plan for nationwide authority control system based on national authority sharing system of NLK through the survey targeting on libraries which do not participate in the system. Six plans were suggested to establish a nationwide authority control system based on this survey. First, an authority data construction module and a module linked to the national authority sharing system should be developed. Second, describing external identifiers such as ISNI to the national authority sharing system is to provides reliability of data and to utilizes to build linked data. Third, it is necessary to prepare strategies for promoting the national authority sharing system and diversifying services. Fourth, both authority establishment and non-establishment show difficulties and diversity in the selection and description of authorized access point, so it is necessary to prepare rules related to authorized access points. Fifth, since the data described in authority records is not enough, it is necessary to improve and upgrade authority records by using bibliographic records. Sixth, it is necessary to educate librarians about the necessity and function of authority control. As such, this study is meaningful in that it investigated the current status and requirements of libraries that do not participate in the nationwide authority system and sought ways to establish a nationwide cooperative authority control system.
In the present study, a simple finite element method of analysis to predict non-uniform settlements at the interface between the mat foundation and foundation soils is proposed. Based on the proposed finite element method of analysis, the method to evaluate load sharing ratios of the foundation soils adjacent to the granular group piles is also presented. Further proposed is a procedure to estimate ultimate bearing capacity of the skirted granular group piles in a square pattern. To verify validity of the proposed methods and the estimated ultimate bearing capacity of the skirted group piles, comparisons are made with the results analyzed by using the PENTAGON3D FEM program. Finally, behavior characteristics with different reinforcement patterns of the skirts and the effect of an increase of ultimate bearing capacity due to the skirts are analyzed in connection with the design parameters.

Since the non-overlapping gate driver used in conventional DC-DC boost converters generates fixed dead-times, the converters suffer from the body-diode conduction loss or the charge-sharing loss. To reduce the efficiency degradation due to these losses, this paper presents a PWM DC-DC boost converter with adaptive dead-time control. In light loads, power switching is also employed to increase the efficiency. The designed DC-DC boost converter can thus achieve high efficiency at wide current range. The proposed DC-DC boost converter has 3.3V output from a 2.5V input with 0.18um technology. It operates at 500KHz and has a maximum power efficiency of 97.8%.

The interference probability between non-geostationary-statellite orbit mobile station is calculated when the two systems are sharing the frquency band below 1 GHz. The probability density function of a mobile earth station(MES) is calculated based on the established propagation model and then, a probability of exceeding the threshold level is derived. By changing the average transimission per unit time of total MSS(Moblie satellite service) area and the ratio of transmitters for specific area, we obtain the average transmission per unit time for the area under consideration. From this, the exceedance probability for the given pfd threshold level is evaluated. The exceedance probability is increased as the average transmissio per unit time and ratio become larger. Also the effect of filter isolation between channels is accounted for.

Since the non-overlapping gate driver used in conventional DC-DC boost converters generates fixed dead-times, the converters suffer from the body-diode conduction loss or the charge-sharing loss. A adaptive control method has been proposed to reduce these loses. In this method, however, occurrence of and overlapping time of two power transistors in CCM results in reduction of efficiency. In this paper, to overcome this problem a new adaptive control method in proposed, and a DC-DC boost converter with the proposed adaptive control and power switching has been designed in a 0.35um CMOS process. The designed converter outputs 3.3V from a input voltage of 2.5V. The switching frequency is 500kHz and the maximum power efficiency is 95.3% at a load current 150mA. The designed chip area is $1720um{\times}1280um$.

This study examines the effectiveness of the study through a case of PBL (problem-based learning) class conducted in a balanced culture course called at 00 - University in the second semester of 2020. The effects we can achieve through learning are as follows: First, problem-based learning (PBL) has sufficient active interaction between the teacher and the learner. Second, PBL learning can actively utilize various problems that fit the characteristics of the subject and actively utilize the process of role sharing and collaboration. Third, critical perceptions of problem situations can be extended. The limitations identified in this class case are, first, the nature of the subject, "Understanding Culture and Philosophy," which makes it possible to discuss the global cultural phenomenon, but it should be discussed in terms of philosophy. Second, it is not easy to work as a team on non-face-to-face online.
As knowledge is now being distributed and shared through the Internet not only in the form of text but also in that of video, UCC (User Created Content) knowledge video sharing services have emerged on the Internet such as Instructables.com. This paper deals with a UCC knowledge video service in real world and reports the case of analyzing its customer model. The knowledge video sharing service can be considered as both a kind of discontinuous innovation, which requires knowledge provider's technical ability of creating and editing UCC video, and a value network, which matches UCC providers and consumers therefore brings network effect, we first adopt the Chasm theory as the base of the customer model and refine the customer model referencing the Technographics, which is also an Internet-refinement of the Chasm model. Finally, non-customer analysis of Blue Ocean strategy is applied for exploring potential customers of the service.
