구절초와 쑥부쟁이 정유의 휘발성 향기성분 분석 (Analyses of the Volatile Flavor Composition of Essential Oils from Chrysanthemum zawadskii var. latilobum Kitamura and Aster yomena Makino)

  • This study investigated the volatile flavor composition of essential oils from Chrysanthemum zawadskii var. latilobum Kitamura and Aster yomena Makino. The essential oils obtained by the hydrodistillation extraction method from the aerial parts of the plants were analyzed by gas chromatography (GC) and GC-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). One hundred (95.04%) volatile flavor compounds were identified in the essential oil from the C. zawadskii var. latilobum Kitamura. The major compounds were valencene (10.82%), ${\delta}$-cadinol (9.77%), hexadecanoic acid (8.70%), 2-methyl-4-(2,6,6-trimethylcyclohex-1-enyl) but-2-en-1-ol (3.67%), and 2-(2,4-hexadiynylidene)-1,6-dioxaspiro[4,4]non-3-ene (3.57%). Ninety-eight (93.83%) volatile flavor compounds were identified in the essential oil from the Aster yomena Makino. The major compounds were and 3-eicosyne (13.61%), 9,10,12-octadecatrienoic acid (7.8%), ${\alpha}$-caryophyllene alcohol (6.83%), 9-octadecynoic acid (6.03%), and ${\alpha}$-caryophyllene (5.74%). Although the two plants are apparently very similar, the chemical composition of the essential oils was significantly different in quality and quantity. In the case of C. zawadskii var. latilobum Kitamura, the sesquiterpene, valencene was found to be 10.82%, but it was not identified in A. yomena Makino. ${\delta}$-Cadinol appeared higher in C. zawadskii var. latilobum Kitamura than in A. yomena Makino. A clear characteristic of A. yomena Makino essential oil is that it has a high content of caryophyllene derivatives. The ${\alpha}$-caryophyllene alcohol contained in A. yomena Makino was relatively high at 6.83%, although the compound was not identified in C. zawadskii var. latilobum Kitamura. Also ${\alpha}$-caryophyllene was shown to be higher in A. yomena Makino than in C. zawadskii var. latilobum Kitamura.

항공사진의 질감 분석을 통한 김녕사구지역의 지형지물 추출 (Feature Extraction in an Aerial Photography of Gimnyeong Sand Dune Area by Texture Filtering)

  • 국내에서 해안사구의 생성과정 및 생물지화학적 특성에 대한 연구가 누적되어 왔지만 원격탐사방법을 이용한 분석은 범위를 파악하기 위한 수준으로 시각적 분석을 수행한 것이 대부분이다. 사구지역 범위 추출을 위한 적합한 질감분석방법을 찾아보기 위하여 제주도의 김녕사구지역을 대상으로 영상분석, 야외조사 및 통계분석을 실시하였다. 제주도 사구는 내륙으로 깊숙이 발달하고 있으며 현무암 돌담의 색채와 대비되어 단순 영상분류 분석보다는 질감분석을 적용할 경우 뚜렷한 범위를 도출할 수 있었다. 영상은 전처리 과정 이후에 Erdas Imagine과 ENVI 소프트웨어를 사용하였으며, 분산분석과 히스토그램 분석, 형태적 특성과 질감의 최고값에 대한 비모수 비교분석을 수행하였다. 도시지역은 농촌지역과 사구지역에 비해 질감의 변화가 폐합된 작은 폴리곤 형태를 나타내었으며, 사구지역은 도시지역과 유사한 높은 질감 변화값을 갖는다는 공통점을 갖는 반면에 폐합된 폴리곤의 크기는 농촌지역과 유사한 형태를 보여주는 이중적 특성을 보유하고 있었다. 하이패스필터적용 이후 생성된 사구지역의 폴리곤의 장축과 장축에 대한 단축의 비는 도시지역과 농촌지역에 비해 유의미하게 큰 것으로 나타났으며, 하이패스필터와 동일성 필터를 적용한 사례가 가장 효과적으로 도심지와 사구지역을 구별할 수 있었다.

신경 회로망을 사용한 비 파라메테 텍스춰 추출 (Non-Parametric Texture Extraction using Neural Network)

  • 본 연구에서는 화상에 있어서 패턴의 공간적인 특징을 추출하기위한 목적으로 신경회로망을 적용하는 방법을 제안하였다. 적용한 신경회로망은 3중의 구조를 가지며, 그 학습방법으로는 back-propagation 알고리즘을 사용하였다. 또한 이동이나 회전과 같은 패턴의 변위에 대응하기 위하여, 화상으로부터 co-occurrence matrix를 구하여, 신경회로망의 입력패턴으로 사용하였다. 제안한 방법을 평가하기 위하여 종래의 대표적방법인 화소의 spectral 정보를 이용한 최대유도법(maximum likelihood method)으로는 식별이 곤란한 시가지지역과 모래지역을 선정하여, 본 방법과 Haralick에 의하여 제안된 teture features를 이용하여 분류한 결과, texture features를 이용한 방법으로는 67%~89%의 식별률을 얻었음에 반하여, 본 연구에서 제안한 신경회로망을 사용한 방법으로는 80%~98%의 안정되고 높은 식별률을 얻었다.

Gas chromatography-Thermal Energy Analyzer에 의한 휘발성 니트로소아민과 담배 특유의 니트로소아민들의 동시 분석연구 (Studies on the Simultaneous Determination of VNA and TSNA by GC - TEA)

  • This is to investigate the methodology for the simultaneous determination of Wk, mk and TSNA using gas chromatography(GC) in combination with chemiluminescence detector, thermal energy analyzer(TEA) . The simultaneous analysis has been estimated by evaluating tobacco. The TEA was linked to GC equipped with non -polar SPB -5 fused silica capillary column which was introduced into the ceramic pyrolysis tube by the point of 16cm from the end of TEA. Quantification was carried out by internal standardization with WDPA after calibration of retention times and response factors with authentic nitrosoamines. It was demonstrated that WDPA was most preferable as internal standard for the simultaneous analysis. The recoveries of the internal standard were in the range of 83∼96% . Nitrosoamines in this method were detected with determination limit of 0.1ng and was made by a straight line in calibration curve by TEA response. The suitability of nitrosoamines extraction in tobacco leaf was investigated. It was most suitable to extract nitrosoamines from tobacco leaves with 0.01 M NaOH within a period of 8 hours. Thimerosal as an antibacterial agent was added to NaOH solution to prevent artifactual formation. The fractionation and the purification of nitrosoamines form alkaline extracts were conveniently performed using Extrelut multilayer column and dichloromethane. Reproducible and reliable results were obtained for the determination of nitrosamines in a relatively short time compared to previous known method. TSNA contents in burley were about 4 times higher as those in the fluecured tobacco.

방사성 폐기물 처리를 위한 이온성 액체 활용 (A Review on the Application of Ionic Liquids for the Radioactive Waste Processing)

  • 이온성 액체 기술에서의 학문적 연구들은 원자력 산업으로 확대되어 왔으며 많은 연구자들에 의해 방사성 물질의 처리에 이온성 액체의 활용이 연구되어 왔다. 다수의 연구들에 의해 사용 후 핵연료에 포함되어 있는 금속 원소들의 분광학적, 전기화학적 거동에 대한 흥미로운 결과들이 보고되었다. TBP(tri-butyl phosphate)를 용해시킨 이온성 액체에서 측정되고 관찰된 금속 이온들의 물성들은 전통적인 수용성 공정에 대한 대안 기술 개발을 유발시켰다. 한편, 수용성 및 비수용성 공정에서의 활용을 위해 이온성 액체에서 금속 이온의 전기화학적 전착이 연구되었다. 본 연구에서는 이온성 액체 연구에서 주목할 만한 내용들을 분류하고 정리하여 핵연료주기에서 이온성 액체의 활용에 대해 고찰하였다.

밭에의 토양수분 소비기구에 관한 연구 (A Study on Mechanism of Consumed Water in tne Farm Land)

  • This experiment of which aim contribute to plan irrigation system so as to increase forage crop yields, was conducted to estimate evapotranspiration amount of forage crops and to find out system of consumed water in a pasture-ground. The results obtained by this study are as follows: 1. The general weather conditions which, were closely related to the evapotrannpiration of forage crops were nearly same as those of the average year with the exception that temperature of May and June were slightly low. 2. According to the investigation of potential evapotranspirations (P.E) or forage crops and its changes during growing periods, changes of tenday P.E. were high significant according to the harvesting period. P.E of Alfalfa of which yield was the largest was the biggest. Althrough the correlations between P.E. and meteorological factors were irregular oming to three-time harvesting, correlation between ten-day evapotraspiration amount and copper plated pan evaporation or solar radiation was high positive significant. 4. Predicting formulas of P.E. were led by weather factors, and also relatione between P.E. and weather factors were showed as figure. from the these formulas, P.E. may be calculated by weather factors. 5. Predicting formulas of P.E. were led by mean temperature and copper plated pan evaporation, and by mean temperature and solar radiation. As computed values and measured values showed in figure, these formulas were high signiflent. 6. In the total consumed soil water duration of 10 days which, was non-rain period from 12th to 21th of August, Alfalfa was the largest 48.1mm, second, Orchard grass 40.1mm and Fescue 37.6mm, and Ladino clover was the smallest 37.1mm, also, order of each forage crop yield amound. was same to the abov. Order of soil moisture extraction rate of soil layer of all the for forage crops dulation of ten-day was soil layer 1 which was largest, soil layer 2, 3, and 4 Reviewing the the first five-day and the second five day, in the first five-day, order of that of all the forage crops was same to the above, but in the second five-day, that of soil layer 2 or 3 was more than the of soil layer 1.

Physicochemical Characterization of Extrudate Solid Formulation of Angelica gigas Nakai Prepared by Hot Melt Extrusion Process

  • The root of Angelica gigas Nakai (AGN) is used as a traditional herbal medicine in Korea for the treatment of many diseases. However, a major challenge associated with the usage of the active compounds from AGN is their poor water solubility. Therefore, this work aimed to enhance the solubility of active compounds by a chemical (viz. surfactant) and physical (hot melt extrusion) crosslinking method (CPC). Infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy (FT-IR) revealed multiple peaks in extrudate solids representing new functional groups including carboxylic acid, alkynes and benzene derivatives. Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) analysis of the extrudate showed lower glass transition temperature (Tg) and lower enthalpy (${\Delta}H$) (Tg: $43^{\circ}C$; ${\Delta}H$: <6 (J/g)) compared to the non-extrudate (Tg $68.5^{\circ}C$; ${\Delta}H$: 123.2) formulations. X-ray powder diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed amorphization of crystal materials in extrudate solid. In addition, nanonization, enhanced solubility and higher extraction of phenolic compounds were achieved in the extrudate solid. Among the different extrudates, acetic acid- and Span 80-mediated formulations showed superior extractions. We conclude that the CPC method successfully enhanced the production of amorphous nano dispersions from extrudate solid formulations.

  • 최근 생태자원에 대한 관심이 증가함에 따라, 자연환경의 복원과 보존이나 경관성 평가 등을 위해 생태자원을 3차원으로 시각화하려는 노력이 늘어나고 있다. 그러나 산림자원의 경우 정보의 추출은 활발하지만 그 정보를 활용하여 효과적으로 시각화 하려는 노력은 일어나지 않고 있다. 즉 산림자원의 시각화에 있어 현실적이지 못하거나 각종 분석에서 요구하는 시뮬레이션이 부적합한 경우가 다수이며 이를 효과적으로 시각화하려는 노력은 부족하였다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 항공 LiDAR 데이터와 항공사진, 임상도(Forest Type Map)를 통해 산림정보를 추출하여 Vegetation Layer를 생성한 후 Flora3D 수목모델링 툴과 ArcGlobe를 이용하여 Vegetation Layer를 3차원으로 정밀하게 시각화하였다. 지리정보시스템 내에서 사용자가 산림정보를 직관적이고 현실적으로 인식할 수 있도록 함으로써 생태자원의 복원과 보존, 도시경관 등을 위한 분석에 효율적으로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

독립성분 분석 계수의 합성에 의한 가변 얼굴 생체정보 생성 방법 (Generation of Changeable Face Template by Combining Independent Component Analysis Coefficients)

  • 개인 인증 방법 중 하나인 생체인식(Biometrics)은 개인 생체정보의 수가 한정되어 있기 때문에 생체정보의 도난 시 프라이버시 침해라는 문제를 가진다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 등장한 개념이 가변 생체인식(Changeable biometrics)이다. 가변 생체 인식은 생체정보가 훼손당했을 경우 새로운 생체정보로 대체하기 어렵다는 생체인식의 가장 큰 단점을 보완하기 위한 방법으로 원 생체정보가 아닌 변환된 생체정보로 개인을 인증한다. 이 논문에서는 가변 생체인식 가운데 얼굴인식을 위한 가변 생체인식에 대해 제안한다. 기존에 알려진 얼굴인식의 방법 가운데 하나인 외형 기반 기법(Appearance-based method) 중 독립성분 분석(Independent Component Analysis)의 계수(coefficient)를 변형하는 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 얼굴 생체정보 생성 방법은 계수의 일부분을 가우시안 분포(Gaussian distribution)에 따른 임의의 값으로 치환한 후 계수의 순서를 임의로 변경하여 무수히 많은 가변 얼굴 정보를 생성할 수 있도록 하였고 서로 다르게 변경된 계수들을 서로 합성함으로써 비가역성(Non-invertibility)을 만족시키려고 시도했다.

Pre-adaptation to Cu during Plant Tissue Culture Enhances Cu Tolerance and Accumulation in Begonia (Begonia evansiana Andr.)

  • A simple and efficient protocol was developed for culturing Cu-tolerant and Cu-accumulating plants via pre-adaptation to Cu during plant tissue culture. We induced multiple shoots from begonia (Begonia evansiana Andr.) leaf explants on MS medium supplemented with naphtaieneacetic acid and benzyladenine. After 3 months, small plantlets were transferred to MS medium supplemented with $100{\mu}M\;CuCl_2$ for pre-adaptation to Cu and cultured for 5 months. Then, these plantlets were individually planted in pots containing artificial soil. An additional 500 mg of Cu dissolved in 1/4 strength MS solution was applied to each pot during irrigation over the course of 2 months. We planted pre-adapted and control begonias in soil from the II-Kwang Mine, an abandoned Cu mine in Pusan, Korea, to examine their ability to tolerate and accumulate Cu for phytore-mediation. Pre-adapted begonias accumulated $1,200{\mu}g$ Cu/g dry root tissue over the course of 45 days. On the other hand, non-Cu-adapted controls accumulated only $85{\mu}g$ Cu/g dry root tissue. To enhance Cu extraction, chelating agents, ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA)-dipotassiun and pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylic acid (PDA), were applied. While the chelating agents did not enhance accumulation of Cu in the roots of control begonias, EDTA application increased the level of Cu in the roots of pre-adapted begonias twofold (to $2,500{\mu}g$ Cu/g dry root tissue). Because pre-adapted begonias accumulated a large amount of Cu, mainly in their roots, they could be used for phytostabilization of Cu-contaminated soils. In addition, as a flowering plant, begonias can be used to create aesthetically pleasing remediation sites.
