  • As the dynamics model for industrial robot is a mutural coupling of inertia, centrifugal force, gravity, etc it is very difficult to get solution to the question how it works. To control such complex non-linear features of the manipulator, it is required to develop a lot simpler algorithm on the real time.

정사각형 외팔보에서의 일대일 공진 (One to One Resonance on the Quadrangle Cantilever Beam)

  • The response characteristics of one to one resonance on the quadrangle cantilever beam in which basic harmonic excitations are applied by nonlinear coupled differential-integral equations are studied. This equations have 3-dimensional non-linearity of nonlinear inertia and nonlinear curvature. Galerkin and multi scale methods are used for theoretical approach to one-to-one internal resonance. Nonlinear response characteristics of 1st, 2nd, 3rd modes are measured from the experiment for basic harmonic excitation. From the experimental result, geometrical terms of non-linearity display light spring effect and these terms play an important role in the response characteristics of low frequency modes. Nonlinear nitration in the out of plane are also studied.

  • As well known when the linear machine is operated between two points repeatedly under positioning control, there are various positioning error at the moment of zero speed owing to the non-linear disturbance like as unpredictable friction force. To remove this positioning error, a simple least order disturbance observer is introduced and is actually implemented in this study. Due to this simple algorithm the over-all machine system can be modified to simple arbitrary given one-mass load without any disturbance. So, the total construction process for positioning control system is much easier than old one. Moreover, to generate a proper effective position profile with the limited actual machine force, a very powerful on-line mass identification algorithm using the load force estimator is presented. In the proposed mass identification algorithm, the exact load mass can be calculated during only one moving stage under a normally generated position profile. All presented algorithm is verified with experimental result with commercial linear servo machine system.

  • 세탁기의 용량이 커지면서 세탁 및 탈수 시의 세탁물에 의한 질량 불균형 문제가 심해지고 있으며, 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 세탁기에서도 다양한 형태의 서스펜션이 장착되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 마찰 서스펜션에서 발생하는 힘을 측정한 뒤, 물리적인 수식으로 마찰 서스펜션의 비선형 특성을 모델링 하였다. 최소 자승 해(least squares solution)를 구해 파라미터들을 추정하고, 시험과 동일한 조건의 시뮬레이션을 실시하여 개발된 마찰 서스펜션 모델링의 타당성을 검증하였다.

  • In terms of this paper, concerning primarily with the U-tube tank stabilizer, the authors' aim is to clarify and consolidate the theory as it has been developed thus far, and to provide with the certain additions which will make it more complete, more accurate, and more practical. And then we can know that the effect of the vertical tank position from the C.G., $a_{st}=1-w^2/{w^2}_{st}$, is very important, on account for the fact that the position factor, $a_{st}$, increase when the anti-rolling tank attaches to higher position vertically, but $a_{st}$ does not increase in proportion to the distance of the tank position. Measuring many characteristic coefficients by experiment, in the equation of the ship-tank system motion, such as the inertia coefficient, the damping coefficient, the natural frequency and so on, they can also give a guess that the higher position will accompany the non-linear motion of the tank water, but the non-linear effect will decrease the tank ability. In this study, they deal with not only the optimum damping coefficient of tank, which has very simply been expressed by the strength ratio, $\lambda$, but also the effect of the tank top, which has experimentally been treated when the water has hit the tank top. As this result, we can immediately find that the ability of the anti-rolling tank decrease at w/ws=0.9 generally low frequency.

회전하는 얇은 링의 고유진동 해석을 위한 모델링 (Modeling for the Natural Vibration Analysis of a Rotating Thin Ring)

  • In this paper, we present the principle of virtual work, from which the exact non-linear equations of motion of a rotating ring can be derived, by using the theory of finite deformation. For a thin ring of which the effect of variation in curvature across the cross-section is neglected, the radial displacement and the extensional stress are determined from the principle of virtual work at the steady state where the ring is rotating with a constant angular velocity. And also we formulate systematically the governing equations concerned to the in-plane vibrations and the out-of-plane vibrations at the disturbed state by using the principle of virtual work which is expressed with the disturbed displacements about the steady state. The formulated governing equations are classified by four models along the cases of considering or neglecting all or partly the secondary effects of flexural shear, rotary inertia, circumferential extension, and twist inertia. The natural vibrations of thin rings are analyzed, and its results are compared and discussed.

An exact solution for free vibrations of a non-uniform beam carrying multiple elastic-supported rigid bars

  • The purpose of this paper is to utilize the numerical assembly method (NAM) to determine the exact natural frequencies and mode shapes of a multi-step beam carrying multiple rigid bars, with each of the rigid bars possessing its own mass and rotary inertia, fixed to the beam at one point and supported by a translational spring and/or a rotational spring at another point. Where the fixed point of each rigid bar with the beam does not coincide with the center of gravity the rigid bar or the supporting point of the springs. The effects of the distance between the "fixed point" of each rigid bar and its center of gravity (i.e., eccentricity), and the distance between the "fixed point" and each linear spring (i.e., offset) are studied. For a beam carrying multiple various concentrated elements, the magnitude of each lumped mass and stiffness of each linear spring are the well-known key parameters affecting the free vibration characteristics of the (loaded) beam in the existing literature, however, the numerical results of this paper reveal that the eccentricity of each rigid bar and the offset of each linear spring are also the predominant parameters.

  • 중력구배 인공위성의 pitch 운동이 관성 모멘트 비와 편심율에 따라 혼돈계가 될 수 있다. 혼돈계의 경우 운동의 정확한 예측을 위하여 비혼돈계로 전환하는 혼돈계 제어가 필요하다. 혼돈계 제어에는 feedback control system을 사용할 수 있다. 중력구배 인공위성의 pitch 운동의 혼돈계 제어를 위하여, 비선형 pitch 운동 방정식을 선형화를 하여 linear nonautonomous system을 구하고, 이를 근거로 pitch 운동의 혼돈계 제어와 안정화(stabilization)를 위한 제어법칙을 설계하고 원래의 비선형 혼돈계 pitch 운동에 적용하였다. 설계된 pitch 운동 제어계는 두 개의 parameter를 가지는데, 혼돈계 제어와 안정화에 만족할 만한 결과를 보여주었다.
