난류 제트확산화염의 연소소음 특성에 관한 실험연구 (Experimental Study on Combustion Noise Characteristics in Turbulent Jet Diffusion Flames)

  • The experimental study is carried out to identify the combustion generated noise mechanism in free turbulent jet diffusion flames. Axial mean fluctuating velocities in cold and reacting flow fields were measured using hot-wire anemometer and LDv.The overall sound pressure level and their spectral distribution in far field with and without combustion were also measured in an anechoic chamber. The axial mean velocity is 10-25% faster and turbulent intensities are about 10 to 15% smaller near active reacting zone than those in nonreacting flow fields. And sound pressure level is about 10-20% higher in reacting flow fields. It is also shown that the spectra of the combustion noise has lower frequency characteristics over a broadband spectrum. These results indicate that the combustion noise characteristics in jet diffusion flames are dominated by energy containing large scale eddies and the combusting flow field itself. Scaling laws correlating the gas velocity and heat of combustion show that the acoustic power of the combustion noise is linearly proportional to the 3.8th power of the mean axial velocity rather than 8th power in nonreacting flow fields, and the SPL increases linearly with logarithmic 1/2th power of the heat of combustion.

  • 고속열차의 속도가 300km/h 이상이 되면 난류의 박리나 와류발산 등에 의한 공력소음의 영향이 지배적이 된다. 본 연구에서는 KTX와 한국형고속열차의 외부에서 발생하는 공력소음, 특히 차간 공간에서 발생하는 소음의 특성을 시험을 통해 규명한다. 차량 실내외의 소음 측정을 통해 이 소음의 특성을 분석하였고, 풍동시험을 통해 머드플랩 사이의 틈의 크기가 저주파 소음 발생에 직접적인 영향을 준다는 것을 규명하였다. 또한 마이크로폰어에이 시험으로 고속열차의 외부에서 발생하는 소음의 주파수 특성을 분석하였다.

  • Turbulent boundary layer noise is already a significant contributor to sonar self noise. For developing acoustic window of sonar system to reduce self noise, a parametric study of design factors of acoustic window is presented. Distance of sensor array from acoustic window, materials of acoustic window and characteristics of damping layer are studied as design factors to influence in the characteristics of the transfer function of self noise. As the result, these design factors make change the characteristics of transfer function slightly. Among design factors the location of sensor array is most important parameter in the self noise reduction

영기선 테스트를 이용한 GNSS 수신기 조합별 코드의사거리 이중차분 잡음 특성 분석 (Analysis of Double-Differenced Code-Pseudorange Noise Characteristics of GNSS Receiver Combinations using Zero-Baseline Test)

  • Following the introduction of civilian navigation, the commercial Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers' market has been expanding in various fields such as autonomous driving and smart cities. With improved receiver performance and widespread use of GNSS, the configurations of base and rover receivers are becoming more complex. As a result, user must consider combinations of base stations with different qualities, costs, and performances. To address these issues, we conducted zero-baseline tests to analyze the double-differenced code-pseudorange noise of various receiver combinations, ranging from low- to high-cost. The results showed that the noise varied depending on the receiver combination. Notably, receivers from the same manufacturer exhibited similar noise and positioning errors despite significant price differences. We also found that the double-differenced noise of all receiver combinations was correlated with the Carrier-to-Noise Density Ratio (C/N0), the satellite elevation angle, and the Doppler shift, and it did not perfectly follow a normal distribution. Further analysis based on Modified Allan Deviation (MDEV) showed that different types of noise were observed for each receiver combination and the double-differenced noise and positioning errors have similar statistical characteristics. From this study, the importance of receiver combinations and their various characteristics can be better understood.

  • 이 연구는 성인 남녀 462명을 대상으로 사전 설문검사를 통해 성별, 손잡이, 혈액형, 연령 등의 개인별 특성 집단과 다중지능 유형별 점수를 분류하였다. 그런 다음 뇌파측정시스템을 이용하여 전전두엽 부위인 Fp1과 Fp2 부위에 측정 전극을 부착하고 무자극 상태와 순수한 Pink noise 청각자극 상태에서의 집중력의 변화와 다중지능과의 관계를 알아보고자 하였다. 공분산분석 결과, 무자극에 비해 Pink noise 자극 시 대상자 전체의 평균 집중력이 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 개인별 특성에서는 남녀 성별을 제외한 왼손잡이, A형, 30대 집단에서 집중력이 유의하게 높게 나타났다. 그리고 무자극에 비해 Pink noise 상태의 집중력은 공간적 지능과의 관계가 더욱 강화되었고, 음악적 지능과는 음적 상관관계를 형성하였다. 이러한 결과는 집중력 향상을 위한 Pink noise 활용 시 개인별 특성을 반영해야할 필요성이 있음을 시사하였다.

  • In the refrigerator, the two-phase refrigerant-induced noise of the capillary tube in an evaporator-inlet pipe has been a great concern. The capillary tube is usually covered with insulation-foam packed in the space between inner and outer cabinets without any vibration isolation. Therefore, the refrigerant-induced vibration of the capillary tube can be easily transferred to the outer cabinet, which may increase the radiated noise. In this paper, the characteristics of transferred vibration through the insulation-foam are investigated experimentally by using the refrigerantsupplying equipment. The frequency characteristics, such as dynamic Young's modulus and loss factor, of the insulation-foam are also discussed.

  • A cross-flow fan often generates discrete noise call blade passing frequency tones. Several methods have been investigated to reduce this BPF noise, where the random distribution of blades is the most promising one. A simple and effective algorithm to determine a random distribution of blades is proposed which considers fan. performance as well as noise characteristics. The proposed method is verified by a simple numerical model and is applied in manufacturing cross-flow fan samples. Also some experiments are carried out and the experimental results are analyzed.

  • The purpose of the present paper is to investigate the noise and vibration characteristics of externally pressurized air proceeding bearings with a circular slot restrictor. To do this, the nonlinear transient analysis including rotor imbalance was performed for a rotor-bearing system. The effects of radial clearance and the width of the bearing and mass eccentricity of the rotor on the noise and vibration characteristics of the bearing are also examined. The results show that the noise and vibration of the rotor-bearing system first increase up to critical speed of the system, and then decrease up to instability threshold speed of the system as the rotational speed of the rotor increases, and the noise of the bearing is markedly influenced by the mass eccentricity of the rotor and the radial clearance and the width of the bearing.

  • The objective of this paper is to suggest a characteristics of Noise and the Noise Prediction Model and the appropriate Noise Impact Mitigation Method for a elevated railway bridges construction. The characteristics on noises are investigated and evaluated according to a type of railway bridges such as steel, concrete and steel/concrete compound bridges, a types of train, a distance and height from railways. The noise prediction study has been made by the evaluation of differences between model values and in-situ measurement, around the railways. For the noise prediction, the Mithra program and the electronic properties of noises have been adopted.
