Night-Scape Lighting with the use of LED lighting has become very popular recently by the merits of energy saving, environmental friendlyness, sensitivity and conversion trends. LED lighting designs are being used diversly as outer elements for screen media stage production as well as buildings with fusioning of information technology. However, methods for analyzing the cases effectively are far from completion. This research evaluates the recent trends of Night-Scape Lighting with LED and processes it through database and aims to propose LED Night-Scape Design process for the various architectural night-scape lighting designs.

The purpose of this study is to identify current condition of night lighting plan for the outdoor space in an apartment complex and to examine how residents perceive that environment. For this purpose, considerations and standards for safe and agreeable night lighting environment were examined through literature study. And a field study to determine the current state of the night lighting environment was conducted, and finally a survey was executed to find out residents' satisfaction, requirements and consciousness on that lighting environment of apartment complex. Findings of this study can be summarized as follows. Firstly, most standards for night lighting environment focus on the urban environment as a whole, so they have very few clear standards exclusive for the outdoor space of the apartment complex. Secondly, most of outdoor spaces surveyed in this study have met the basic illumination standard, but some spaces had parts where lights were off or out of order forming dark zones, and in some parts lights were screened by trees causing shades, poor safety and a narrowed sight. Thirdly, residents had interest in the night lighting environment of the outdoor space, but they were not fully satisfied with that environment. Fourthly, residents were negative about such factors of the environment as safety, convenience, recognition and aesthetics. These factors should be reflected in planning and improving the night lighting. It is expected that this study provides basic information necessary to plan safer and more agreeable night lighting, and to satisfy the residents' need for liveable apartment complex.

Recently, there are rapid increases in golf population. People are enjoying play golf not only during the day but also at night as well. Although there are not many golf courses that offer night play, people inquire place where they can play night games due to their busy daily lives. To supply the demand in national golf courses night-lighting has been pushed ahead competitively, however there are few standards of lighting design in golf course. Because it is not clear that the standards of lighting in the world yet, this study aimed at presentation of standard of lighting design for planning golf course. Investigating the cases of golf course, this study suggested illumination standard of golf course to support comfortable visual-environment and measures to prevention glare for visitors.

분 논문은 도시의 야간 조명연출에 사용되고 있는 조명 기술 및 유형에 대해 연구하였다. 현 사회의 생활방식과 생활양식이 지속적으로 변화하고 혁신되어지면서 도시의 다양한 기능은 끊임없이 발전하고 있다. 현재 도시의 야간 조명은 낮 시간대의 경관을 조명기구를 통해 밤에 밝히는 것에 머물지 않고, 새로운 디지털 조명기술을 활용하여 독창적이고 지속적인 변화가 가능한 혁신적인 디지털 야경을 연출하고 있다. 이러한 도시의 야간 조명연출은 현대적인 디지털 아트와 융합하면서 도시의 브랜드 이미지를 높이고, 경제적 발전에도 영향력을 미친다. 그러므로 새로운 도시의 건설에서 야간 경관을 결정하는 디지털 조명연출은 중요한 연구가치를 가지게 되었으며, 혁신적인 조명연출 기술의 발달로 앞으로도 도시의 야경은 더욱 다양한 영상디자인적 경험을 제공 할 것으로 사료된다.

A Reasonable lighting should be provided for doing night work. All works far construction site can be exposed to potential hazard at night work The purpose of this study is to provide a standard of the lighting against accidents due to insufficient lighting at site. one pilot tea one at building work site, one at mad work site of it have been conducted for figuring out illumination change depending worker's activity direction, using lux checker to show it as numerical indication. The direction are changed with a range of 30, 60, 90, and 135 degree to be checked at site. Tests results show that $10\%\;and\;15\%$ of lighting could be decreased by changing the working direction of works at site. Therefore, steep slope place, cave work and backside of structural elements such as a column, deep beam should be considered for keeping sufficient and reasonable lighting. It is found that $50\%more$ illumination Lux needs f3r civil work than for building work.

본 연구는 야간 시간대의 농기계 주행시 등화장치 장착여부에 따른 운전자의 야간시인성분석을 목표로 하였다. 야간시인성 분석을 위해 등화장치에 대한 휘도측정실험과 안구운동측정기기를 활용한 주시시간측정실험을 수행하였다. 휘도측정실험결과, 농기계와의 상대거리가 가까워지며 등화장치의 상태가 양호해질수록 휘도 값이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 주시시간측정실험에서는 주행속도에 상관없이 등화장치의 상태가 양호해질수록 농기계에 대한 총 주시시간이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과, 농기계에 등화장치를 장착할 경우 농기계에 대한 운전자의 야간 시인성이 향상되어 농기계사고의 예방에 큰 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

Spill light by street lighting is a kind of light pollution creating cozy night atmosphere, interfere visual private and cause insomnia at night. This study was to survey light trespass of the windows in residential buildings. According to outdoor lighting control guidance in Seoul, three different areas were selected to investigate the trespass light to windows. The results were as follows: 37% of the buildings of 386 buildings were influenced by street lighting, and 47% of windows were occurred light trespass. Therefore, the street lighting affected light trespass at night in survey area. The main reasons of light trespass were luminaire type, luminaire pole height, and street width. For protecting the light trespass to windows, it is necessary to non-cutoff fixture to full cutoff fixture by the street width.

Light was the symbol of the city's prosperity and culture. People can walk around the city at the night time with safe. Now light is used with beauty and function at the same time. This study is the example how to draw the lighting design concept in specific city and district based on the citizen-minded survey. The citizen-minded survey makes a new chance taking the goodness and characteristics from local city specially and select the site for applying the specific opinion and requirement in the city. The expression of design concept on night landscape design gives the fresh image to the city during the night time. Because people feel the free and dynamic mood in the night landscape lighting, it is very important to set and express the design concept on night landscape design. The result of this study was applied in the Daegu city. In particular, the distribution complex's night landscape lighting in the Daegu was designed with specific concept expression from the citizen-minded survey. Making and expressing the design concept on night landscape design is basic for unity and diversity in the city.

This study attempts to grasp the correlation between the image of bridges and bridge landscapes with their surroundings during day and nighttime viewing, and to understand the psychological influence of nighttime lighting through quantitative analysis. In addition, it presents a design to construct bridges in order to increase viewers enjoyment of bridge landscapes lit at night. To attain this objective and contrive generalization of the results, this paper selects 8 of 9 bridges with lightings in Seoul and excludes bridges constructed by 2004. The criteria for selection of the viewpoints is that each must be within easy reach of bridges, and must allow viewers to recognize surrounding landscape details both in daylight and at night. As well, the pictures of bridges are taken in the terraced land by the riverside. The study selects 16 pictures, judged to be of similar quality and angle, to establish the conditions of luminosity, color, definition and angle. The results are as follows. First, viewers preferences of night landscapes are higher than day landscapes due to the effect of lighting. By day, viewers preferred bridges with various structures such as cable-stayed bridges and arch bridges more than simple bridges like girder bridges. Viewers also indicated preferences for lightings which feature a unique color and which are harmonized with their surroundings. Second, components representing the images of bridge landscape are classified into three types, 'beauty', 'system' and 'agreeableness'. Third, the factors affecting preference are the shape of bridge by day and lighting at night. Esthetic appeal is the most important factor in visual preference so each bridges own esthetic appeal and surroundings must be considered. Thus, a complete plan must be created which considers safety, beauty and the local surroundings. In addition, when the lighting of a bridge is selected, the design of the bridge landscape must consider various lighting schemes to harmonize the upper and lower parts of the structure. At this point, the study reveals the basic elements of bridge planning in order to increase appreciation of the bridge landscape.

Recently, the outdoor lighting of architectural Facade has increased for the improvement of night-scape in urban and coastal resort. The purpose of this research is to analyze lighting characteristics; Luminance, Illuminance, Color Temperature, Chromaticity in Gyengpo Park of Eastern famous coastal resort. The result of this paper is as follows: 1) The Luminance ratio was measured that compare to the 1:10 criterion(IESNA) was in excess to the most building except "K". Because of these condition, Luminance environments was injurious to visual health the overuse of the outdoor lighting or glare to the eyes. 2) The level of vertical Illuminance value was insufficient 33.3% among the cases of survey with 4Lux standard of CIE. 3) The kinds of outdoor lighting of BLDG were increased lighting emitting diode(LED), metal halide(MH) instead of reduction trend of neon, fluorescent light, halogen. As the crisis of Energy resources we will be investigate adapt method of outdoor lighting, which design is based on economical efficiency by the use of optimum lighting.
