본 연구는 간편하게 스마트폰에서의 전력 소모를 분석 할 수 있는 프레임워크를 제시한다. 스마트폰은 제한적인 전력 공급을 가지기 때문에 개발자와 사용자는 전력 소모에 최적화된 응용프로그램을 개발하고 선택할 수 있어야 한다. 본 연구에서는 전력소모 분석 프레임워크를 제공 함으로써 전력 모델 생성, 전력 소모 추정, 추정 데이터 분석 기능을 제공 한다. 본 연구의 프레임워크를 이용해서 Nexus one, Desire, Galaxy S의 전력 소모 분석을 한 결과 평균 80% 이상의 정확도를 얻었다.

기후변화-수자원 적응과제들의 성공적인 수행과 결과물의 활용을 위해서는 안전행정부, 환경부, 농림축산식품부 등 물관련 정부부처간의 긴밀한 협조체계가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 이를 위해서는 (1)안전행정부의 재난관련 방재패러다임 전환 및 위기관리 체계강화를 위한 추진과제(자연재해 지자체 방재시스템), (2)환경부의 기후변화에 따른 물환경관리 대책 추진과제(비점오염, 수질, 수생태, 습지), (3)농림축산식품부의 농업수자원 및 산림자원 확보 추진과제(농업용수, 산림재해) 등의 진행상황 및 결과의 공유체계 및 공동활용을 위한 채널구축이 필요하다. 포럼에서의 의견으로서, 타분야 특히 산업일선에서는 이미 기후변화에 따른 적응정책과 더불어 관련기술의 개발이 진행되어 우리 수자원분야는 많이 늦은 감이 있다는 지적, 그리고 제시된 기획과제 중에서 제4세부과제인 수자원의 가치를 평가하는 기술개발이 매우 중요하다는 언급이 많았다. 이에 저자들은 수자원의 가치를 높이기 위해서는 농업 그리고 에너지 분야의 전문가들과의 협력연구(Water-Food-Energy Nexus)를 통하여 세 분야의 통계기반, 정보공유, 융합가치 등의 제반연구는 매우 중요한 미래과제라고 강조하였다.

Soil is the most important factor in natural environment for bio-diversity. Urbanization and development of city devastate urban soil by the fraternization of green network and run off pollution. In these facts, preservation of soil is the main issue in maintain of quality urban environment. In order to handle this issue, the gold network that link fragment soil patches is considered in maintain quality soil. This study researched the infiltration Treebox design technique based on the Low Impact Development. This technique suggest reduction of impervious area of the soil due to urbanization. The main concept of this study is encourage more permeable surfaces in urban area by using a infiltration planter. The function of the planter is hold run off as much as possible from intensive rainfall, and utilizes it in drought season. Also, this planter provides fertile soil for organism habitat by keeping appropriate moisture supplying.

This paper examines the effects of foreign direct investment (FDI) on South Asian economies' output growth, utilizing recent panel cointegration testing and estimation techniques. Annual panel data on eight SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) member countries' macroeconomic variables over the period 1960- 2013 are employed in empirical analysis. Using various heterogeneous panel cointegration and panel causality tests, a bi-directional relationship between FDI and growth is found. We find evidence for both FDI-led growth and growth-induced FDI hypotheses for the South Asian economies over the sample period. Individual member countries exhibit heterogeneity in terms of the direction or existence of causality subject to their idiosyncratic economic conditions. Among various regressors, FDI, financial development, human capital, and government consumption show the most significant positive effects on output growth. As determinants of FDI, GDP, financial development, human capital, and government consumption are found significant in the region. The bi-directional causality between FDI and growth is found robust to the inclusion of other control variables and using different estimation techniques.

New media is an emerging industry sector. It sits at the nexus of what has become a main vehicle of the Knowledge Based Economy. the crossroads where the use of interactive multimedia technology meets the traditional uses of media. The current Education information Act provided school with PC, multimedia labs and connection to internet. Having such a facility in schools encourage teachers and students to use computers more often. Teachers demand for more educational multimedia contents than they can find in the market. Although there are many good contents, teachers find them unfit or inflexible for their curriculum. The purpose of this study is to identify the elements of standard multimedia studio facilities to develop multimedia contents in primary and secondary schools. The result of this study will provide guidelines for schools to facilitate their multimedia studio for teaching and learning activities, and developing contents for effective use of their facilities.

고비도의 콘텐츠 정보보호를 실현하기 위해서는 고성능의 암호 가속 성능이 필요하다. 특히, 현재 많이 사용되어 지는 각종 암호 알고리즘들은 많은 계산량을 필요로 하고 소프트웨어로 구현되었을 경우에는 그 성능에 한계가 있기 때문에, 전용의 암호 가속 침을 이용하여 하드웨어로 구현하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 많이 사용되어지는 블록 암호 알고리즘인 3DES, AES, SEED가 실장된 암호 가속 칩을 이용하여 PCI 카드를 설계 제작한 사례를 보이고 있다.

Nuclear energy programs around the world increasingly find themselves at the nexus of potentially conflicting demands from both domestic and international stakeholders. On one side, the rapid growth in demand for electricity coupled with the goal of reducing carbon emissions calls for a significant expansion of nuclear energy. On the other, stakeholders are seeking ever greater safety, environmental, security, and nonproliferation assurances before consenting to the construction of new nuclear energy facilities. Satisfying the demand for clean energy supplies will require nuclear energy operators to find new and innovative ways to build confidence among stakeholders. This paper discusses two related concepts which can contribute to meeting the needs of key stakeholders in cost effective and efficient ways. Structured processes and tools for assessing stakeholder needs can build trust and confidence while facilitating the "designing-in" of information collection systems for new facilities to achieve maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Integrated approaches to monitoring facilities and managing the resulting data can provide stakeholders with continued confidence while offering operators additional facility and process information to improve performance.

고성능 모바일 기기가 보급화 됨에 따라 증강 현실, 3D 게임과 같은 고사양 응용들이 출시되고 있다. 이러한 응용들의 응답성은 모바일 기기의 품질을 결정하는 중요한 요소들 중 하나이다. 기존 연구에 따르면 고사양 응용들 중 하나인 웹 브라우저의 응답 시간에서 페이지 zeroing 에 소요되는 시간이 적지 않은 비중을 차지한다. 본 논문은 페이지 zeroing 에 소요되는 시간을 단축하기 위해 적응형 페이지 선 zeroing 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 응답 시간이 아닌 구간에서 페이지들을 미리 zeroing 하여 보관해 두었다가 응답 시간인 구간에서 페이지 할당 요청 시 미리 zeroing 된 페이지들을 응용에게 제공한다. 이를 리녹스 커널 3.4 가 탑재된 Nexus 5 에 구현하였고 실험을 통해 확인한 결과, 모델링 된 응용의 응답 시간이 평균 39.52% 단축됨을 확인하였다.

Recent evidence from genetics, animal model systems and biochemical studies suggests that defects in membrane trafficking play an important part in the pathophysiology of Parkinson's disease (PD). Mutations in leucine-rich repeat kinase 2 (LRRK2) constitute the most frequent genetic cause of both familial and sporadic PD, and LRRK2 has been suggested as a druggable target for PD. Although the precise physiological function of LRRK2 remains largely unknown, mounting evidence suggests that LRRK2 controls membrane trafficking by interacting with key regulators of the endosomal-lysosomal pathway and synaptic recycling. In this review, we discuss the genetic, biochemical and functional links between LRRK2 and membrane trafficking. Understanding the mechanism by which LRRK2 influences such processes may contribute to the development of disease-modifying therapies for PD.

디지털 디바이스와 네트워크의 발전에 의해 커뮤니케이션 기술은 용이해졌지만, 반대로 광고에 대한 소비자의 인식은 가장 부정적인 모습이다. 이런 배경에서 소셜 미디어를 이용한 브랜드 스토리텔링은 효율적인 마케팅 수단으로 주목받고 있다. 하지만 빠르게 성장하고 있는 VR(가상현실), AR(증강현실), 그리고 MR(혼합현실) 미디어 환경은 브랜드 스토리텔링 마케터들에게 새로운 가능성을 제공하고 있다. 본 연구는 서사몰입 이론을 중심으로 MR 미디어 서비스에 대한 논의를 통해 브랜드 마케팅의 방향과 시사점들을 제시하는데 목적을 가지고 있다.
