A total of 36 species and 11 genera of the fly family Lauxanidae have been previously recorded in Korean Peninsula. As a result of our ongoing study of this family, we here report the following nine species new to Korea: Homoneura albomarginata Czerny, 1932, Minettia filia (Becker), 1895, Pachycerina alutacea Shatalkin, 1998, Poecilolycia zherichini Shatalkin, 2000, Protrigonometopus sexlituris (Shatalkin), 1992, Salebrifacies czurkini Shatalkin, 1992, Sapromyza albiceps Fallén, 1820, Steganopsis dichroa Shatalkin, 1998, and Trigonometopus eborifacies Shatalkin, 1997. The genera Poecilolycia Shewell, 1986, Salebrifacies Shatalkin, 1992, and Steganopsis de Meijere, 1910 are recognized for the first time in this country. Therefore, 45 species in 14 genera are now officially recognized for the Korean lauxaniid fauna. In addition, we provide diagnoses and color photographs of adult external structures including male genitalia to aid their specific identification.

We report two new records of Korean fauna of genus Exochus, as well as two newly recorded species from China and Mongolia each. Specifically Exochus suborbitalis Schmiedeknecht, 1924 and Exochus thomsoni Schmiedeknecht, 1924 from Korea, Exochus kusigematii Tolkanitz, 2007 and Exochus suborbitalis Schmiedeknecht, 1924 from Mongolia and Exochus semilividus Vollenhoven, 1875 and Exochus thomsoni Schmiedeknecht, 1924 from China are reviewed. The genus Exochus have been reported 19 species from China and 21 species from Mongolia. Diagnosis of the four unrecorded species, host information, distributions and illustrations of external characters are provided.

Chlaenius is a large and diverse genus of ground beetle. This colorful beetle recognized from its pubescent elytra and pungent defensive secretions. Subgenus Pachydinodes belonging to the genus Chlaenius were reported eight species from Palaearctic, among them four species, Chlaenius (Pachydinodes) abstersus Bates, C. (P.) pictus Chaudoir, C. (P.) tetragonoderus Chaudoir, C. (P.) virgulifer Chaudoir were reported in Korea up to now. In here, Chlaenius hamifer Chaudoir are report firstly in Korea. Description and photo of adult and aedeagus are provided.

Since cardiac pacemaker was first totally implanted by Chardack, Gage and Greatbatch [1966], the electrical circuity of the cardiac pacemaker has been improved, modified, and refined. The problem of transvenous electrodes, however, is still remained; this may be due to electrode displacement, exit and/or entrance block, lead fracture and insulation defects. In permanent cardiac pacing, Irreversible loss of function of the transvenous electrode catheter eventually requires insertion of new lead. Authors now report one case that disclosed easy displacement of electrode tip in early phase of implantation and then two years and five months later, malfunctioning electrode could not be withdrawn from the cardiovascular system because it has become firmly enclosed by fibrous tissue along its course from the vein tract to the right ventricle. Under such circumstances, the electrode catheter tip was left in tricuspid annulus after being sutured at its entrance and burying the loop of lead in generator pocket. New other one electrode was then reimplantation through left external jugular vein.

We report a new PCNB-degrading strain (PCNB-2) that is able to utilize and grow on PCNB (100 ppm) as a sole carbon source. This strain was identified as Alcaligenes xylosoxidans based upon 16S rDNA sequence analysis, API 20 NE tests and cell membrane lipid analysis. The new PCNB degrader Alcaligenes xylosoxidans PCNB-2 could find use in bioremediation of PCNB, which is environmentally persistent.

The author observed a cystic lesion which had new radiographic entities in the 6 years old male patient and obtained the following features. 1. The main clinical feature is the swelling. 2. The lesion is situated on the buccal surface of a erupting mandibular first molar. 3. The affected molar is tilted, so that the apices are adjacent to the lingual plate of the mandible. 4. The affected molar is of normal morphology, caries-free and vital. 5. The radiographic feature is the cystic radiolucency which is extended over the buccal surface of the roots of the affected molar and slightly inferior to the root apices. 6. The dental papilla of the affected molar shows the lamina dura of relatively normal density and definitition. 7. The buccal surface shows the laminated new bone formation. 8. The inferior concave border of the lesion is delineated by a thick and calcified layer of cortical bone. 9. The lesion causes displacement of the developing second molar of which anterior cortex is partially destroyed.

고연소에서도 연소 과정을 정확히 계산할 수 있는 연구로용 핵분열 생성물 연소체인 모델을 개발하였다. 이 모델은 상세히 취급된 63개 핵분열 생성물 핵종과 핵분열성 물질에 무관한 하나의 가상 원소로 구성되어 있다. 본 논문에서는 가상 원소의 유효 단면적과 악티나이드 핵종별 핵분열 생성율이 평가되었다. 이 모델은 저농축 우라늄을 핵연료로 하는 연구로의 고연소 해석에서 좋은 결과를 보이고 있다.

The superior hypogastric plexus block (SHPB) is used for treating pelvic pain, especially in patients with gynecological malignancies. Various approaches to this procedure have been reported due to the anatomic obstacles of a high iliac crest or large transverse process of the $5^{th}$ lumbar vertebra. Here, we report a new technique of superior hypogastric plexus block using a unilateral single-needle approach to block the bilateral superior hypogastric plexus with a Tuohy needle and epidural catheter. We have confidence that this new technique can be another option in performing the SHPB when the conventional bilateral approach is difficult to perform.

In this report, we provide the focus on suggesting a method of estimating and measurement of CBM(Customer Behavior Model). Through the use of internet, a new trend of business for e-CRM on B2C Web Site known as EC has emerged. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between the customers of a shopping mall and CBM characteristics. It can be used to gain a better understanding of customers. From this we can determine trends, and so refine business toward customer's needs and target new products to particular customer groups. Result shows that there is a significant relationship between the customers pattern of shopping mall and CBM, CVM(Customer Visit Model).

We report the synthesis and electroluminescent properties of new aromatic compounds as emitting materials based on indenopyrazine, such 2,8-bis(3,5-diphenylphenyl)-6,6,12,12-tetraethyl-6,12-dihydrodiindeno[1,2-b:1',2'-e]pyrazine (DPP-EPY) and 2,8-bis(3',5'-diphenylbiphenyl-4-yl)-6,6,12,12-tetraethyl-6,12-dihydrodiindeno[1,2-b:1',2'-e]pyrazine (DPBPEPY). DPP-EPY showed high thermal stability, narrow FWHM of 46 nm, luminous efficiency of 1.04 cd/A at current density of 10 mA/$cm^2$ and CIE coordinate of (0.161, 0.104).
