  • The purpose of study is a development of the high reliance electric driven water-pump that fuction is forcing the movement of water using basic design, proto sample and test at the cooling system. It was important to supply a coolant quickly and accurately for the requirement of flow rate at the system when we carried out the designs for BLDC Motor, Controller and water pump(Impeller, Volute Casing, Sealing Device) First, we attained ours purpose that the target efficiency for water pump was over 40% and then we are doing the optimum design for Brushless Motor and Controller that its target is over 55% of efficiency.

  • This paper addresses the measurement of structural loads on the Unison U50 wind turbine. The load measurement are carried out to determine the actual loads acting on a wind turbine. This is needed not only the certification process but also improving the technical development for prototype wind turbine. The measurement system is consists of measuring load, operating quantities and meteorological signal. All data that occur during the operating of a WT are stored the data acquisition system automatically. With using the measured data, load spectrum and equivalent load are evaluated according to IEC61400-13 "Measurement of mechanical loads".

  • The application of photovoltaics into building as integrated building components has been paid more attention worldwide. Photovoltaics or solar electric modules are sol id state devices, directly converting solar radiation into electricity; the process does not require fuel and any moving parts, and produce no pollutants. And the prefab building method is very effective because the pre- manufactured building components is simply assembled to making up buildings in the construction fields especially the sandwich panel. So, this paper describes a design and performance test of the 10kW poly metal pv module(pmpp) system. It is concluded that the prediction of BIPV system's performance should be based on the more accurate PV module installation.

  • 환경규제 강화와 화석연료에 대한 대안으로 신/재생에너지에 대한 관심이 고조 되고 있다. 그 중 하나인 풍력발전은 각국마다 풍황 조건과 정책에 의해 다양한 시장을 만들어 내고 있다. 본 연구는 해상풍력발전시스템의 투자 전망에 대하여 기존의 재무적 평가기법에 학습곡선효과를 가미하는 방법론을 제시하고자 하였다. NPV 등의 가치 평가기법이 할인된 현금흐름 분석을 하는 것이라면 이에 더하여 현금의 유출에 있어서 학습율을 반영한 원가를 반영하는 것이 제시하고자 하는 연구 방법론의 핵심이다. 해상풍력발전을 투자자 입장에서 모의 해본 결과 국내 풍력발전은 80% 학습율 수준 정도의 혁신적 개선 없이는 투자 타당성을 찾기 어려우며 이러한 현실적인 문제점을 정책적으로 보완해야 할 수 있는 것이 발전가격을 중심으로 하는 정부의 지원제도임을 제시 하였다.

  • This study was performed to construct a geothermal data base about thermal conductivity of ground heat exchanger and thermal properties of grouting material which used to refill the borehole. We have acquired geothermal data sets from 39 sites over wide area of South Korea except to Jeju island. From data analysis, the range of thermal conductivity is $1.5{\sim}4.0$ W/mK. It means that thermal conductivity varies with grouting material as well as regional geology and ground water system.

  • The modular line-connected photovoltaic PCS (power conditioning system) is proposed. The proposed system consists of a step-up DC-DC converter and a full-bridge inverter. A step-up DC-DC converter using a dual series-resonant rectifier circuit and a active-clamp circuit is proposed to achieve a high efficiency and a high input-output voltage ratio efficiently. An IncCond (incremental conductance) MPPT (maximum power point tracking) algorithm that improves MPPT characteristic is used. By control a inverter using a linearized output current controller, a unity power factor is achieved. All algorithms and controllers are implemented on a single-chip microcontroller and the superiority of the proposed algorithms and controllers is proved by experiments.

  • Gasification has been regarded as a very important technology to decrease environmental pollution and to obtain higher efficiency, The coal gasification process converts carbon containing coal into a syngas, composed primarily of CO and $H_2$. And the coal syngas can be used as a source for power generation or chemical material production. This paper illustrates the operation characteristics and results of pilot-scale coal syngas production facilities. The entrained-bed pilot scale coal gasifier was operated normally in the temperature range of $1,300{\sim}1,400^{\cdot}C$, $2{\sim}3kg/cm^2$ pressure. And Indonesian KPC coal produced syngas that has a composition of $46{\sim}54$% CO, $20{\sim}26$% $H_2$, and $5{\sim}8$% $CO_2$.

  • To check the feasibility of SMART (Steam Methane Advanced Reforming Technology)system, an experimental investigation was conducted. A fluidized bed reactor of diameter 0.052 m was operated cyclically up to the $10^{th}$ cycle, alternating between reforming and regeneration conditions. FCR-4 catalyst was used as the reforming catalyst and calcined limestone (domestic, from Danyang) was used as the $CO_2$ absorbent. Hydrogen concentration of 98.2% on a dry basis was reached at $650^{\circ}C$ for the first cycle. This value is much higher than $H_2$ concentration of 73.6% in the reformer of conventional SMR (steam methane reforming) system. However, the hydrogen concentration decreased because the $CO_2$ capture capacity decreased as the number of cycles increased.

  • 최근 다수의 태양광 발전기가 배전계통에 연계되고 있으며 특히, 특정지역을 중심으로 대규모의 태양광발전 단지가 구성되어 배전계통에 연계되고 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 순천에 구축된 l000KW급 태양광발전소의 계통해석영향을 분석하기 위하여 PSCAD/EMTDC 툴을 이용하여 모델링 하고 태양광발전이 연계된 배전계통 조류해석과 태양광 발전의 출력에 의한 22.9KV 배전계통의 전압변동을 시뮬레이션 하였으며, 태양광발전에 따른 역조류에 의한 배전계통 전압변동을 분석하였다. 또한, 태양광발전기의 배전계통 연계 전,후의 배전선로의 임의의 지락고장 모의로 태양광발전기가 고장전류에 미치는 영향 분석과 태양광 발전이 양호, 불량한 경우에 대한 상전압, 고조파 전류, 역률 등의 측정결과에 의한 전력품질을 분석 하였다.

  • According to the second scheme of the Korean Government about technology development, utilization and popularization of new renewable energy, the continuous growth of distributed resources are expected. But there is a few paper about recloser and sectionalizer coordination and protection scheme in distribution system interconnected a number of distributed resources. In this paper, it is dealt with that recloser and sectionalizer coordination at the cases concerned with position among protection devices. Adding distributed resource, the problems of each case are investigated through simulation.
