  • The main subject of this paper is the development of new ROBOT CONTROLLER, which can support MULTI-TASKING and MULTI-ROBOT functions. The system consists of various kinds of CPU modules according to their independent jobs. Acceleration and Deceleration profile is given in order to achieve the smooth robot motion and high cycle time. Further the communication capacity should be upgraded to meet the various kinds of peripheral PA devices.

단일 작업 운영체제 환경에서의 무선 원격 제어 시스템 설계 (A New System Design for Wireless Remote Control Over Single-tasking Operating Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 Microsoft사의 Disk Operating System(DOS)와 같은 단일 프로그램만 지원하는 운영체제상에서의 무선 원격제어를 위한 새로운 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 DOS 시스템과 윈도우즈 컴퓨터간의 중계 역할을 위해 비디오 전송기, 가상 네트워크 드라이버, 무선 키보드 모듈로 구성된다. 15Mbps 무선 랜 환경(802.11n)에서 성능을 측정한 결과 영상의 경우 초당 10 ~ 15 영상프레임을 전송하고, 네트워크 드라이버의 연결속도는 약 8Mbps이며, 키보드 입력의 경우 실시간 처리가 가능하다. 따라서 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템은 DOS기반 어플리케이션의 원격제어 솔루션으로 매우 적합하다 할 수 있다.

  • Recently, KARI developed "KOMPSAT-2 Terminal for Polar Station" which is high performance system newly required for stimulating KOMPSAT-2 application. The KOMPSAT-2 Terminal for Polar Station consists of one receiving system and two processing systems. The receiving system has been installed at Svalbard Satellite Station located at Norwegian Svalbard island. and the two receiving systems have been installed at Kongsberg Satellite Service AS located at Tromso Norway and Spot Image SA located at Toulouse France respectively. In this paper overall items of KOMPSAT-2 Terminal for Polar Station, which includes requirements, designs and operation concepts, are to be addressed with the verification result on its performance.

기계학습을 활용한 항공표적 긴급표적처리 발전방안 연구 (A Study on Methodology for Air Target Dynamic Targeting Applying Machine Learning)

  • In order to prepare for the future warfare environment, which requires a faster operational tempo, it is necessary to utilize the fourth industrial revolution technology in the field of military operations. This study propose a methodology, 'machine learning based dynamic targeting', which can contribute to reduce required man-hour for dynamic targeting. Specifically, a decision tree algorithm is considered to apply to dynamic targeting process. The algorithm learns target prioritization patterns from JIPTL(Joint Integrated Prioritized Target List) which is the result of the deliberate targeting, and then learned algorithm rapidly(almost real-time) determines priorities for new targets that occur during ATO(Air Tasking Order) execution. An experiment is performed with artificially generated data to demonstrate the applicability of the methodology.
