  • The purpose of this study is to understand the attractiveness of the vinyl record industry and derive implications by analyzing the structure of the industry. A few previous studies pay attention to the rapidly increasing demand for vinyl records, especially from a consumer point of view, and unlike the analysis of the consumption and vinyl record industry, this study focuses on the subjects of production and distribution of vinyl records. This paper collects data through in-depth interviews with experts in the vinyl record industry and various secondary data, which is analyzed by Porter(1980/2008)'s Five Forces Model. According to the analysis, the attractiveness of the vinyl record industry is positive in terms of the appropriate competitive strength in the industry and weak bargaining power of buyers, but negative in terms of the strong bargaining power of new entrants and substitutes. The outcome of this research has significance as basic data implying that companies that are trying to enter the vinyl record industry need to make strategic decisions.

Second, through interviews with six contemporary artists using various formats and media, records production by artistic process and management by documentation type are investigated. Third, based on the investigation analysis, the cooperation and support plan to be cooperated by art museums, archivists, and other record professionals for the artwork documentation is recommended. Areas of support are divided into educational program provision, museum artistic activity documentation, and documentation tools development and support.

  • We have innovated the records management since 2004. So, We innovated the electronic records management, transparency, and accountability. From these results, we could mark a turning point to plant the democratic values in the government It is very surprising, but it is fact that there are the estrangement between the high level institutionalization and low level records cultural soil. But after starting new government, things have been going backward. We have experienced the hyper-politicized problem, shrinking governance problem, regressive personnel policies in the National Archives of Korea. 'New Innovation Model' has resulted the shrinking democratic values, and the growing the bureaucratism. At this point of change, it will be meaningful to review the future of records management. First, we should make the more archives to realize the self-control decentralization model. It means that all local governments has the duty to build the archives, and to operate it with a principle of autonomy. Second, We should start the culture movement to build the more archives, the small archives in private sector. Archives are necessary in the NGO, Universities, firms, art, media, etc. And the small archives are necessary in the various communities, which enhance the rights of minority. All these will spread the democratic values in our society. Third, right democracy system should be operated for the political neutrality, independency. This problem is not prohibited within the national archives innovation model. So, we should transfer the powers of government to local government, and we should re-innovate the National Archives Committee will have the role to make the important records management policies. In short, Unless going to forward with the more democratic values, it would go backward 'records management without democracy'.

  • Graphis upretii is a new lichen species discovered in Vietnam. The species is characterized by a loosely corticate, rough, whitish grey to greyish green thallus, elongate and irregularly branched lirellae with an apically thin complete thalline margin (negrosina morph), laterally carbonized, entire proper exciple, clear hymenium, hyaline, 16~20 transversely locular ascospores, and about $50{\sim}95{\times}10{\sim}15{\mu}m$ in size. In addition, members of the taxon produce norstictic and stictic acids. Currently, the lichen flora of Vietnam include Arthonia radiata, Brigantiaea tricolor, Coenogonium implexum, Dirina paradoxa, Herpothallon sipmanii, Pertusaria pertusa, and Sarcographina cyclospora.

  • Graphis yunnanensis is described here as a new species. It is taxonomically well characterized by entire labia, slit-like disc, lateral thalline margin, completely carbonized proper exciple, inspersed hymenium, 8-spored asci, muriform $25{\sim}45{\times}8{\sim}12{\mu}m$ ascospores, and the presence of norstictic and stictic acids. • Twelve species of siphonostomatoid copepods mainly associated with marine invertebrates are recorded from Korean waters. Nine species are new to science: Arctopontius minutus n. sp., A. adelphus n. sp, and Dyspontius alatus n. sp. in the family Artotrogidae; Asterocheres horridus n. sp., A. cuspis n. sp., A. quadridens n. sp., Scottocheres mipoensis n. sp., Asteropontoides acutirostris n. sp. and Callomyzon macrocephalus n. gen. n. sp. in the family Asterocheridae. The new genus Callomyzon is distinguished from other genera in the family by having six setae on the third endopodal segment of leg 3, four spines and three setae on the third exopodal segment of leg 4 and three setae on the third endopodal segment of leg 4. Three new records of Korea, Asterocheres lilljeborgi Boeck, 1859 and A. simulans (T. Scott, 1898) in the Asterocheridae, and Parartotrogus arcticus T. and A. Scott, 1901 in the Cancerillidae are redescribed as the circum-Arctic species.

  • This study describes a new species of cytheroid ostracod, Paradoxostoma koreana sp. nov., collected in Korea. In addition, three other cytheroid ostracods, P. setoense Schornikov, 1975, Loxoconcha pulchra Ishizaki, 1968, and Ishizakiella miurensis (Hanai, 1957), are reported with brief descriptions and images. Paradoxostoma setoense and L. pulchra were previously only known from Japan, while I. miurensis was previously reported from Korea. Here, we describe variability in hemipenis morphology observed in the Korean population. The new species is closely related to several East Asian species, but its sister species is P. rhomboideum Okubo, 1977. The primary difference between the new species and P. rhomboideum is morphology of the distal projections of the hemipenis, but minor differences exist in the details of the cheatotaxy of other appendages. This report also provides a list of all East Asian Paradoxostomatidae.
