  • With the energy paradigm shift from supply side management to demand side management, many researches have been done on demand side resource management and demand response. At the same time, Obix, BacNet-WS and OPC-UA are popularly used in buildings and industry energy management system. However, it is not easy to interchange the data and information among the systems cause a variety of protocols are used in buildings and factories. Therefore, in this paper, we are proposing an open business platform not only to integrate and manage the demand resources using various protocols and standards, but also to allow to plug-ins a new business service on top of the platform.

  • In this paper, we analyze social network status and suggest TV SNS Service. According to alexa.com's recent chart, there are three SNS sites (facebook, myspace, twitter) in global top 20 sites. SNS usage has increased dramatically. Recently many SNS are growing up by opening their platform that make it easy to develope new services and functions by third party developers. KT is implementing open platform that is support Widget and SNS service. And Recently Social TV comes into the spotlight. Social TV is combination of social media and TV contents. It is enable to exchange emotion and opinion by communication with other people when watching Video contents. We propose TV SNS Service that provides various services by using advantage of SNS system and Social TV.

  • The mechanism of Stewart platform has many advantages for kinematic analysis and control. Thus there have been many research about employing this mechanism in the new type of machine tool. Since the vibration caused during the manufacturing process has a severely adverse effect on the machining precision. it is very important to enhance the vibrational characteristics. However. it is not easy to use finite element model for the vibration analysis. That is because the vibration behaviors of the structure vary in a complicated manner according as the length of links varies. In this paper, a Stewart platform type of machine tool is modeled in finite element method and then updated by using the experimental modal data. Finally. the static and dynamic characteristics of the finite element model are predicted and then discussed.

  • With the emergence of a new paradigm called Open Science and Big Data, the need for data sharing and collaboration is also emerging in the computational science field. This paper, we analyzed data-driven research cases for computational science by field; material design, bioinformatics, high energy physics. We also studied the characteristics of the computational science data and the data management issues. To manage computational science data effectively it is required to have data quality management, increased data reliability, flexibility to support a variety of data types, and tools for analysis and linkage to the computing infrastructure. In addition, we analyzed trends of platform technology for efficient sharing and management of computational science data. The main contribution of this paper is to review the various computational science data repositories and related platform technologies to analyze the characteristics of computational science data and the problems of data management, and to present design considerations for building a future computational science data platform.

  • The new paradigm called the web 2.0 recently appeared in the web environment. We pay attention to the positive effects which may be brought about by application of the web 2.0 to e-learning; we think that it can improve problem solving skills of learners and reinforce their creativity. But until now, e-learning model, which understood the web 2.0 concept completely, has been never developed. In this context, we propose the web 2.0-based e-learning platform which induces all the courses for education such as the selection of topic, preparation of lecture schedule and contents, teaching and learning, to be decided by participants. We believe that this platform can replace or supplement the e-learning of web 1.0 age, and realize the positive effects.

  • Recently, wireless technology is widely used with mobile phone like Handhold terminal, PDA. The technology in internet is moving into wireless internet. The mobile platform technology is especially important as well as internet world. In this paper, commercial mobile products are described and standardization trends are also shown for the new future platform development. M-commerce application service is possible to spread over the mobile platform.

  • This letter presents a model for a dynamic collaboration (DC) platform among cloud providers (CPs) that prevents adverse business impacts, cloud vendor lock-in and violation of service level agreements with consumers, and also offers collaborative cloud services to consumers. We consider two major challenges. The first challenge is to find an appropriate market model in order to enable the DC platform. The second is to select suitable collaborative partners to provide services. We propose a novel combinatorial auction-based cloud market model that enables a DC platform among CPs. We also propose a new promising multi-objective optimization model to quantitatively evaluate the partners. Simulation experiments were conducted to verify both of the proposed models.

  • This paper presents a new blockchain based donation platform combined with a type of gaming application. The proposed donation platform is similar to existing play-to-earn (P2E), but it has different characteristics such as non-liquidated token and direct transfer to a celebrity donation organization. Moreover, it has advantages like a robustness for counterfeiting and falsification as well as enhanced donating experience.

  • As a new marketing tool, gamification design has been used in marketing practice by e-commerce platforms, aiming to motivate consumers to participate. Based on this, by sorting out relevant domestic and foreign literature, analysis of actual business cases, in-depth interviews with users, experiments and data analysis, this study extracts and describes in detail the elements of the e-commerce platform gamification incentive mechanism. Draw conclusions through research: (1) The incentive mechanism of gamification design of e-commerce platform contains four main dimensions : The richness of symbols, The fun of gamification, The contagiousness of Social and The seduction of achievement. (2) The four elements are closely related, and these can work on a system at the same time and have significant mutual effects. (3) Achievement and fun can bring intrinsic motivation to consumers, while sociability and symbols can bring external motivation to consumers and promote internal motivation through external motivation. (4) The seduction of achievement and the richness of symbol are most closely related.

  • Recent advances in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technologies have led to a significant increase in metaverse platforms. Metaverses are setting a new direction for the digital world. This paper examines the phenomenon of virtual worlds that are becoming an issue these days, focusing on [Ready Player One]. One of the common features of the metaverse platform in [Ready Player One] and the platforms currently in use is the concept of open world. This is a feature that goes beyond simply moving around in a virtual world and allows users to freely reset, participate in, and control the environment. This innovative concept is a hallmark of metaverse platforms, and it is becoming increasingly important and influential. Through this study, we focused on the [open world system] of the platform in the movie and the modern metaverse platform, and suggested and studied how the scalability of the metaverse will present a turning point in the future.
