A new standard rose cultivar 'Pink Bell' was bred from a cross between pink standard cultivar 'Sweet Pink' and pink standard cultivar '"Pink Pearl' at the National Institute of Horticultural & Herbal Science. A cross was made in 2003 and 'Pink Bell' was finally selected in 2008 after investigating its characteristics for three years from 2006 to 2008 (UPOV standards). 'Pink Bell', a pink color standard cultivar grows vigorously and has a high yield. The major characteristics of this cultivar are $162stems/m^2/year$ in yield, 69.8 cm in length of cut flower, 10.4 cm in flower diameter, 44.5 in petal number per stem, and 12.0 days in vase life. This cultivar can be propagated by both cutting and grafting. The consumer's preference of this cultivar was relatively higher than that of control cultivar, 'Nobless'.

A new standard rose cultivar 'White Day' was bred from the cross between white standard cultivar 'Athena' and white standard cultivar 'Tineke'at the National Institute of Horticultural and Herbal Science. The cross was made in 1998 and 'White Day'was finally selected in 2002 after investigating its characteristics for three years from 2000 to 2002 (UPOV standards). 'White Day', a white standard cultivar grows vigorously and has good flower shape. The major characteristics of this cultivar are 106.3 stems/$m^2$/year in yield, 68.6 cm in length of cut flower, 14.3 cm in flower diameter, 93.5 in petal number per stem, and 13.4 days in vase life. This cultivar can be propagated by both cutting and grafting. The consumer's preference of this cultivar is relatively higher than that of control cultivar, 'Tineke'.

A new gerbera variety 'Yellow Wing' was released by the National Horticultural Research Institute (NHRI) in 2007. A cross was made between 'Gold Finger' with yellow and single and 'Yellow Springs' with yellow and spider in 2004. After investigation of the characteristics for 4 years (from 2004 to 2007), it was selected specially for the use of cut-flower. 'Yellow Wing' is a vigorous cultivar with yellow (RHS YO14B), green center and spider type. The flower diameter is 10.6cm. And inner ray floret and disc diameter is 2.83cm and 2.03cm, respectively. It produces a large yield with continuous supply of flowers and has adequate peduncle height and brilliant color. We believe that 'Yellow Wing' has a great potential for expanding cultivated area of domestic gerbera cultivar and increasing farmers-income.

'Pink holic', a light pink standard cultivar grows vigorously and has powder mildew resistant. The major characteristics of this cultivar are $185.4stems/m^2/year$ in yield, 83.9cm in length of cut flower, 11.0cm in flower diameter, 42.9 in petal number, and 22.4 days in vase life. This cultivar can be propagated by both cutting and grafting. The consumer's preference of this cultivar is relatively higher than that of control cultivar, 'Moon light'.

A new spray rose cultivar 'Morning Shine' was bred from the cross between light pink spray cultivar 'Charming' and white spray cultivar 'Princess' at the National Horticulture Research Institute. The cross was made in 2000 and 'Morning Shine' was finally selected in 2006 after investigating characteristics for three years from 2003 to 2006. 'Morning Shine', a light yellow spray cultivar grows vigorously and has high productivity. The major characteristics of this cultivar are $159.7 stems/m^2/year$ in yield, 74.3 cm in length of cut flower, 7.2 cm in flower diameter, 35.6 in petal number, and 13.0 days in vase life. This cultivar can be propagated by both cutting and grafting. The consumer's preference of this cultivar is relatively higher than that of control cultivar, 'Sunny Lady'.

A new mungbean cultivar "Sohyeon" (Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek) was bred from the cross between "Suwon28" and "KM94004" at the Jeollanamdo Agricultural Research & Extension Services (JARES) in 2006. "Sohyeon" has erect type, heart shape leaflet, green hypocotyl, black and straight pod when matured, and dull green seed surface. This new cultivar shows 42 g per a thousand seed weight. And sprout yield was up to 9% more than that of comparison cultivar "Owool". It contains 12.0, 12.4 mg/g of vitexin and isovitexin, respectively, which was shown about 38, 31% more than comparison cultivar. It shows resistance to mungbean mottle virus, cercospora leaf spot, and powdery mildew in the normal cultivate condition. The average yield of this cultivar shows 1.62 ton/ha, which was 7% more than comparison cultivar.

A new spray chrysanthemum cultivar, 'Golden Festival' was released by National Horticultural Research Institute (NHRI), Rural Development Administration (RDA), Korea in 2007. It was selected from the progenies of open-pollination of 'Torbay' in 2002. Trials were conducted from 2005 to 2007 for evaluation and selection of this cultivar, including shading culture in summer and retarding culture in autumn. The natural flowering time of 'Golden Festival' is late October, but year-round flowering is possible by shading and lighting treatment. The cultivar is semi-double type flowers with bright yellow petals and green flower center. Flower neck and stem are very hardy. The diameter of flower is 56.5 mm. The number of flowers per stem and petals per flower are 12.0 and 93.5, respectively. The days to flowering under the short day treatment is about 50 in spring season.

Trials were conducted from 2006 to 2008 for the evaluation and selection of this cultivar, including shading cultures in summer and retarding cultures in spring. The natural flowering time of 'Prima Donna' is late October, but year-round flowering is possible by photo-periodic control. The cultivar has single type flowers with pink petals, green center and good inflorescence. The growth of plant is very vigorous. The diameter of flower is 7.0cm. The number of flowers per stem and petals per flower are 13 and 42, respectively. Days to flowering under the short day treatment is about 59 and its vase life is 26.1 days in autumn season.

New Mulberry Cultivar, Milsungppong, was selected from F1 seedlings obtained by crossing the female, 4X Keomseolppong, and the male, Kaeryangppong. Local adaptability test has been carried out at five places(Suwon, Chunchun, Cheongju, Kongju and Sangju) for four years since 1992. Leaf quality was tested by silkworm rearing for two silkworm rearing seasons(spring and autumn) at Suwon in 1995. From these tests, Milsungppong was found to be superior to control cultivar, cultivar, Kaeryangppong, in productivity, rootability and shoot cold injury. The new cultivar, Milsungppong, has following agronomic characteristics as compared with Kaeryangppong, the most prevailing cultivar, Milsungppong, has following agronomic characteristics as compared with Kaeryangppong, the most prevailing cultivar in Korea It is triploid cultivar belonging to Morus bombycis KOIDZ with the leaf shape of five lobes, sprouting in spring nearly the same to the Kaeryangppong (Morus alba L.), high leaf yielding of 25% compared to Kaeryangppong (Morus alba L.) and the medium degree of cold resistance. It is adaptable to every where in Korea except the area cold injury broken out habitually. Milsungppong is recommended to rear silkworms not only in spring but also in autumn besides for young silkworms.

A new rose cultivar was developed from a cross between "Neon" and "Hello" by the rose breeding team of Gyeonggi-Do Agricultural Research and Extension Services in 1999. The cultivar, "Loving You" was finally selected in 2007 after evaluation trials for three years (2005-2007). The cultivar was developed for a standard-type cut flower with pink petals. "Loving You" grows vigorously and produces $108.5stems/m^2$ in a year, and has 50.2 petals per flower. The days to flower was 46 days, which is very short in rose. The length of cut flower was long with 76.8 cm. Vase-life of the cultivar could be as long as 11 days. The cultivar was applied for a variety protection in 2007.
