Effects of the Precipitation of Carbides and Nitrides on the Texture Structures in Extra Low Carbon Steel Sheets containing B, Nb and Ti(ll) (B, Nb및 Ti를 함유한 극저탄소강에서 탄화물 및 질화물의 석출이 집합조직에 미치는 영향(ll))

  • Abstract Alloying elements such as AI, Ti, Nb and B in the extra low carbon AI-killed steel precipitate as nitrides or carbides and change the recrystallization texture structure of the steel during heattreatment with the result of strong effects on the deep drawability of the steel sheet. In this study the effects of fine precipitates such as nitrides and carbides on the texture of extra low carbon steels into which Ti, Nb, B, P, Si and Mn were added as alloying elements were investigated by means of TEM, SEM and optical microscopic analyses. Fine N$b_2$C and T$i_2$AIN precipitates are mainly observed in the steel containing both Nb and Ti, while fine AIN and coarse BN precipitates are observed in the Nb~containing steel and coarse T${i_4}{N_3}$ and ${N_10}{N_22}$/T$i_68$ precipitates are observed in the Ti-containing steel. The grain size of the Ti containing steel is larger than that of the Nb containing steel and that of the one containing both Nb and Ti.

Cu/Ni-Mo-Nb/Polyimide FCCL (Flexible Copper Clad Laminate)의 개발 및 플렉시블 전자기기 응용을 위한 접착 특성

  • 2층 FCCL (연성회로기판, Flexible Copper Clad Laminate)에 있어서 폴리이미드 필름과 구리의 접착력을 향상 시키기 위해 기존에 사용되고 있는 Ni-Cr대신 박리강도가 높고 에칭성도 매우 뛰어난 Ni-Mo-Nb 박막을 Roll-to roll 스퍼터 장비를 이용하여 개발하였다. 새롭게 개발된 Ni-Mo-Nb 박막은 기존 연구되어진 Ni-Cr 물질 대비 고온 박리강도 약 1.5~2.0배, 에칭성 8배 이상의 매우 우수한 특성을 보였다. Ni-Mo-Nb 접착층의 두께가 7~40 nm로 증가함에 따라 상온 박리강도가 향상 되는 것을 확인하였다. Ni-Mo-Nb 박막을 증착 하기 전 폴리이미드 기판표면을 RF 플라즈마 전처리 하였을 때 0.67 kg f/cm의 우수한 상온 박리강도를 나타내었으며 FCCL 샘플을 $150^{\circ}C$에서 168시간동안 열처리 한 후 접착력을 측정하였을 때도 0.54 kg f/cm의 높은 고온 박리강도를 보였다. FCCL의 박리강도, 표면 거칠기, 원소들의 화학적 결합, 박막의 미세구조를 peel test, atomic force microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy를 이용하여 폴리이미드 기판 플라즈마 전처리 효과를 확인하였다. 그 결과 플라즈마 전처리를 한 폴리이미드 기판의 경우 처리하지 않은 기판보다 상온과 고온에서 더 우수한 접착력을 가지는 것을 확인 할 수 있었는데 이것은 폴리이미드 기판의 표면 거칠기 증가에 의한 mechanical interlocking effect가 아닌 전처리를 통한 폴리이미드 표면 개질로 C-0, C-N와 같은 chemical functional group이 증가했기 때문인 것으로 확인되었다.

  • The sintering characteristics and the effects of density on dielectric properties in 0.2Ba(Mg$_{1}$3(Nb$_{2}$3/)O$_3$-0.8Ba(Mg$_{1}$3//Ta$_{2}$3/)O$_3$ceramics were investigated. The samples were made by the powder mixing techniques with the two step calcining conditions. When the 1st and the 2nd calcining temperatures were 120$0^{\circ}C$ and the sintering temperature was 155$0^{\circ}C$the density of samples showed the highest value (7.45 g/cm$^3$, 98.5% of theoretical density) among them. The dielectric constant of samples was nearly independent of density but the tan $\delta$ and the temperature coefficient of dielectric constant decreased linearly with increasing of the density. The quality factor(Q$\times$f), the temperature coefficient of resonance frequency and the dielectric constant of Ba[Mg$_{1}$3(Nb$_{0.2}$/Ta$_{0.8}$)sub 2/3/]O$_3$ceramic were 79,548 GHz, +1.5 ppm/$^{\circ}C$ and 26 in the microwave range, respectively.ely.

  • In this study, in order to develop the multilayer piezoelectric actuator and ultrasonic resonator, PMN-PNN-PZT ceramics were fabricated by sintering with $Li_2CO_3-Na_2CO_3$ as sintering aids at $950^{\circ}C$ and their piezoelectric and dielectric characteristics were investigated as a function of PNN substitution. With increasing PNN substitution, dielectric constant(${\epsilon}_r$), electromechanical coupling factor(kp), and piezoelectric d constant($d_{33}$) were increased to $12 mol\%$ PNN substitution and then showed a tendency to decrease rapidly With increasing PNN substitution, crystal structure changed from tetragonal to rhombohedral at $12 mol\%$ PNN substitution and then secondary phase was appeared and its intensity was increased. At the $12 mol\%$ PNN substituted PMN-PZT composition ceramic sintered at $950^{\circ}C$, density, kp, $d_{33}$ and Qm showed the optimum value of $7.79 g/cm^3$, 0.599, 419 pC/N, and 894, respectively for multilayer piezoelectric actuator application.

  • In this study, lead-free $(Na_{0.465}K_{0.465}Bi_{0.07})(Nb_{0.93}Ti_{0.07})O_3-0.08MnO_2$ ceramics were fabricated by conventional mixed oxide method. Structural and electrical properties of lead-free $(Na_{0.465}K_{0.465}Bi_{0.07})(Nb_{0.93}Ti_{0.07})O_3-0.08MnO_2$ ceramics with the variation of sintering temperature were investigated. As results of x-ray diffraction analysis, all specimens showed a typical polycrystalline perovskite structure without presence of the second phase. Sintered density increased with an increases of sintering temperature and the specimen sintered at $1,020^{\circ}C$ showed the maximum value of 4.5 $g/cm^3$. The average grain size of the $(Na_{0.465}K_{0.465}Bi_{0.07})(Nb_{0.93}Ti_{0.07})O_3-0.08MnO_2$ specimen sintered at $1,020^{\circ}C$ is about 0.83 ${\mu}m$. Electromechanical coupling factor, relative dielectric constant and dielectric loss of $(Na_{0.465}K_{0.465}Bi_{0.07})(Nb_{0.93}Ti_{0.07})O_3-0.08MnO_2$ specimens sintered at $1,020^{\circ}C$ were 0.252, 741 and 0.043% respectively.

  • Dielectric and Piezoelectric properties of complex perovskite 0.92Pb($Zr_{1/2}Ti_{1/2})O_{3}-(0.08-x)Pb(Cu_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}-xPb(Mn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_{3}(0{\leq}x{\leq}0.080$) (PZT-PCN-PMN) system were investigated as a function of PMN content. With the increase of PMN content of the sintered specimens, tetragonal phase was coexisted with rhombohedral phase, the dielectric constant was decreased, mechanical quality factor ($Q_{m}$) was inceased, and optimal sintering temperature was increased up to 1050$^{\circ}C$. For the composition of x = 0.064 sintered at 1050$^{\circ}C$ for 2 h, 1939 of maximum mechanical quality factor ($Q_{m}$), 57$\%$ of electromechanical coupling factor ($k_{p}$), and 1100$^{\circ}C$ of dielectric constant, 0.37$\% $ of dielectric loss (tan $\delta$) were obtained.

Microstructure and Mechanical Property of Irradiated Zr-2.5Nb Pressure Tube in Wolsong Unit-1

  • With the aim of assessing the degradation of Zr-2.5Nb pressure tubes operating in the Wolsong unit-1 nuclear power plant, characterization tests are being conducted on irradiated Zr-2.5Nb tubes removed after 10-year operation. The examined tube had been exposed to temperatures ranging from 264 to 306℃ and a neutron fluence of 8.9×$10^{21}$ n/cm²(E>1 MeV) at the maximum. Tensile tests were carried out at temperatures ranging from RT to 300℃. The density of a-type and c-type dislocations was examined on the irradiated Zr-2.5Nb tube using a transmission electron microscope. Neutron irradiation up to 8.9×$10^{21}$ n/cm²(E>1 MeV) yielded an increase in a-type dislocation density of the Zr-2.5Nb pressure tube to 7.5×$10^{14} m^{-2}$, which was highest at the inlet of the tube exposed to the low temperature of 275℃. In contrast, the c-component dislocation density did not change with irradiation, keeping an initial dislocation density of 0.8×$10^{14} m^{-2}$ over the whole length of the tube. As expected, the neutron irradiation increased mechanical strength by about 17-26% in the transverse direction and by 34-39% in the longitudinal direction compared to that of the unirradiated tube at 300℃. The change in the mechanical properties with irradiation is discussed in association with the microstructural change as a function of temperature and neutron fluence.

  • The effects of MnO$_2$ addition on the piezoelectric properties in 0.9Pb($Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3}$)$O_3$-0.1Pb$TiO_3$ relaxor ferroelectrics were studied in the ferroelectricity-dominated temperature range from -4$0^{\circ}C$ to 3$0^{\circ}C$. Dielectric, piezoelectric properties and electric-field- induced strain were examined to clarify the effect of MnO$_2$ addition. As the added amount of MnO$_2$ increase. dielectric and piezoelectric properties of Pb(Mg$_{1/3}$ Nb$_{2/3}$O$_3$ became harder. From the experimental results, it was suggested that Mn behaves as a ferroelectric domain pinning element.

  • In this study, In order to improve dielectric and piezoelectric properties of Lead-free piezoelectric ceramics, $0.95(K_{0.5}Na_{0.5})NbO_3-0.05Li(Sb_{0.8}Nb_{0.2})O_3+0.2\;wt%Ag_2O+0.4\;wt%MnO_2+Xwt%CuO$ were investigated as a function of the amount of CuO addition. With increasing the amount of CuO addition, density was increased up to 0.4 wt.% CuO and then decreased above. And also, electro mechanical coupling factor ($k_p$) was decreased. At the 0.4 wt% CuO added specimen sintered at $1020^{\circ}C$, $k_p$, Qm, density, dielectric constant (${\varepsilon}_r$) and $d_{33}$[pC/N] showed the optimal value of $4.37\;g/cm^3$, 0.354, 305, 645, and 144 pC/N respectively.

  • 본 연구에서는 LiNbO$_3$ 단결정 소재의 광손상에 대한 저항성을 향상시키는 첨가물로 잘 알려져 이쓴 MgO 및 ZnO를 첨가하여 육성한 조화용융조성(congruent melting composition)의 LiNbO$_3$ 단결정의 domain 구조는 이들 dopants를 첨가함에 따라 single domain에서 ring 형태의 주기적인 domains으로 변화함을 확인하였고, 첨가된 이온이 domain 형성에 미치는 영향을 전자현미경(SEM-WDS)으로 관찰하였다. 또한, 육성한 [Li1-5xNb5(x-y)Mg(or Zn)5y]Nb1-4x+3yO3 단결정들의 유전율(전이온도) 변화 및 광학적 특성[광투과율, 굴절률]을 측정하여 undoped LiNbO$_3$단결정과 비교하였다. 첨가물을 첨가함에 따라 전이온도는 약 20~3$0^{\circ}C$정도 증가하였으며, 10-3 order의 굴절률 변동치를 나타내었다. 또한, 육성된 결정들의 투과율은 대체로 70~80%를 나타내었고, 첨가물을 첨가함에 따라 흡수단과 OH- 흡수 band는 단파장쪽으로 각각 약 5~10nm, 40nm이동됨을 확인하였다. 이는 LiNbO$_3$단결정의 광손상 저항성이 향상되었음을 간접적으로 보여주는 결과이다.
