The strength of material is scattered owing to the inhomogenity of microstructure, in spite of the same material. Therefore, in order to design the mechanical structure with the reliability engineering, it is important to grasp the statistic nature of material strength. In this paper, effects of grain sizes for the statistical nature of the fatigue crack growth was discussed. And the statistical of mechanical properties was compared with statistical nature of the fatigue crack growth rate.

The ecological expression of art in modern society takes the harmonious developmental relationship between man and nature as an element and combines it with the various manifestations of painting as an expression of ecological artistic development. The necessary relationship for the harmonious development of nature is accurately articulated, and the ecological changes in people are expressed in integrated materials that inspire human reflection. In the pursuit of material pleasures, mankind is neglectful and indifferent to the environment. The development of composite painting in art and ecology is a process that more reveres the harmony between man and nature as well as satisfying the creative value of the work. After systematic evaluation and research, people have engaged in various structural forms of composite art painting development in the long history of art development, focusing on the integration of environmental and ecological culture.In the process of nature education going through development, the comprehensive practical development of nature education is enhanced and efforts are made to feel new ecological art ideas and new ways of valuing environmental protection. In this paper, an observational study of eco-art will be carried out, starting from the theory of hierarchical division and analyzing the contradictory relationship between man and nature. Recognize nature, understand it and feel it through eco-art painting. The analysis of the contradictory relationship between man and nature is combined with the identification of various types of information that give value to the environmental protection public, and the combination of ecological painting and nature art to achieve an upgrade of the environmental protection idea of the value of painting.

Nature is suiting to the objective of oneself, structurally safe and functional. It continues to transform itself into various forms and has aesthetic beauty. By analyzing how nature's organic property has been expressed in different cases of furniture design, which has objective purpose, this research presents designing pathway to induce nature's organic oder into the furniture design. Simile expression type clearly shows its form through exposing the natural material that it is made out of. Visually, esthetic beauty can be emphasized and mentally it can provide pleasantness. Metaphorical expression type only hints the original material that was used to reproduce. Under the same condition it can have subjective perception and it needs to be used suitably at the right place and time. Abstract expression type it might be hard to recognize the original material visually since it went through many transformation in expression, however it can stage extreme and mysterious atmosphere. Furniture designs employing these three types can have functionality as well as decorative and serve variety of change in the existing uniformed interior space, and it can also satisfy individual's need with practicality and provide aesthetic beauty.

Interior designer Sugimoto Takashi uses salvaged material and natural thing for aesthetical purpose. These material performs not just as fun stuff but as design tool in order to set up cultural meaning which modern society always lacks for. The method of communicating the meaning is the multi-layered trace on them. There are three types of trace. They are harsh texture of surface, untrimmed outline, and gathering & arrangement. Through these formation methods of trace, Sugimoto can suggest various curtural meanings such as vanishing value of old-fashioned lifestyle, primitive energy of nature, and sincere touch of somebody. As a result, the trace in Sugimoto's design is an endeavor to exist tradition(the long ago) and nature(the far away) in here-and-now interior space.

Purpose: This study sought to explore concepts and features of nature sports. In specific, this study reviewed literature discussing historical background of nature sport and its relationship with related fields including conservation, tourism, and education. Research design, data, and methodology: This study employed an integrated literature review approach. For this, the study collected prior studies and reports via google scholar. Further the collected studies were analyzed and major issues regarding concepts and features of nature sport were presented. Results: For results, various definitions of nature sports and similar activities were presented. The study found that nature sports labelled action sports, adventure sports, alternative sports, Californian sports, extreme sports, gravity sports, lifestyle sports, nature challenge activities, new sports, outdoor sports, panic sports, risk sports or whiz sports, among others. Nature sport involve interacting with a natural or material feature, rather than with other human beings. Furthermore, this study discovered features of nature sport, including nature based activities, sustainable activities, adventure and risk activities, hedonistic and non-competitive activities, and autonomous and individualistic activities. Conclusions: Nature sport has its own distinctive features compared with traditional sport, yet it shows similarities with constructive sport in terms of perceived benefits and so forth. Further implications were discussed.

The microcapsules containing fragrant oil as functional material were prepared by in-situ polymerization with prepolymer that was made from melamine-formaldehyde (MF) as wall material of microcapsules. The effects of polymerization variables, such as the nature and concentration of surfactants, stirring rate, and stirring time, on the size and distribution of the particles were investigated. Fourier transform-infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), thermal analysis, particle size analysis, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) observation were used to investigate the characteristics of microcapsules. Through the FT-IR and SEM analysis, we found that the prepared microcapsules were containing fragrant oil and the shape of particle was spherical. The nature and concentration of surfactants, stirring rate, and stirring time had profound effects on the particle size and particle size distribution.

친환경 감성단어를 '환경/자연, 소재/섬유, 인간, 형용사/기타' 등의 4가지 영역으로 분류하고 각 단어에 대하여 그 출현시점, 빈도를 1999~2010년 상반기 간의 인터넷 섬유패션 신문 및 잡지를 중심으로 조사한 결과, 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 가장 빈번히 출현한 단어는 '자연, 환경, 면, 천연섬유, 건강, 신선한, 맑은, 보존, 하모니, 옥수수섬유, 로하스' 등이었다. '친환경' 관련 감성단어의 출현시점을 살펴보면, 2000년도 이전부터 '에코, 형상기억소재, 오가닉, 스파' 등이 사용되어왔으며, 2000-1년도에 '자연환경, 친환경, 스트레치소재, 웰빙의, 대체가능한, 재생가능한' 등이 등장하였다. 2002-3년도에 '스마트소재, 친환경소재, 그린' 등이 사용되기 시작하였고, 2004-5년도에 '쿨비즈, 로하스, 자연염색' 등이 처음으로 사용되었다 2006-7년도에 '한방, 지속가능한, 웜비즈' 등이 사용되었고, 2008-9년도에 '그린슈머, 그린라이프, 태양에너지, 삼림욕' 등이 섬유패션 분야에서 처음 사용되었다. 친환경 감성단어의 출현 양상을 살펴보면, 친환경 감성단어의 출현은 과거 어느 때보다 2008-09년도에 가장 많이 등장하고 있었는데 2000년도 초반에는 비교적 많이 등장하였으나 이후 다소 주춤하였고 이는 근래에 들어 다시 출현빈도가 높아졌다. 영역별로 살펴보면 '환경/자연' 관련 친환경 감성 단어가 과거보다 최근에 두드러지게 빈번히 사용되고 있으며, 이에 비해 '인간' 관련 단어는 주춤하여 약간 감소세이거나 동일한 빈도를 나타내고 있다. 또 '형용사/기타' 관련 단어는 약간 증가세이거나 과거와 동일한 빈도를 나타내고 있었다. '소재/섬유' 관련 단어는 패션잡지에서는 최근에 그 빈도가 줄어드는 경향을 보이는 반면 인터넷 신문에서는 약간 증가하는 추세를 보였다.

An interest in modern space is expanded to search for the relationship among human, space and environment, not limited the fixed or typical material place. For grasping and analyzing the characteristics and aims of modern space, this study is focusing on 'Dionysian outlook on nature' among the Nietzsche's philosophies. Nietzsche's 'Dionysian outlook on nature' based on his 'philosophy of creation and positiveness' has great implications for modern space because it focuses on not only circulation of existence and creation but also dynamic vitality the mostly. The reason is that modern space is required by the tendency changing the goal and aesthetic value by planner or user, not fixed and unchangeable any longer. The concept of space in modern construction is developed by forming various paradigms. Especially, various examples based on Nietzsche's Dionysian outlook on nature, philosophy of creation and positiveness, will be analyzed and possibility of new spatial concept's extension will be researched.
